I'm re-reviewing (is that even a word?) this place after our review seems to be pushed to the non available section for some reason. So, here we go again... PC Med Center is the best!! They fix our computer systems, maintain our network, and do a great job at it. They also built us an amazing website. I repeat, we love our amazing website and it was all thanks to these guys. They did everything for us and even helped with our ordering and shipping logistics. Business is booming and it's all because of our online presence. They are always there to help with questions and have gone above and beyond for us. Don't hesitate one bit to use them! As a side note, the one star review is extremely unfair, especially from someone who seems to have been expecting FREE service! We are shocked, what a passive aggressive way to hurt a great local business. Complaining about five dollars for immediate service is crazy, that's cheaper than a fast food meal for someone to fix your computer. PC Med Center is always up front with their pricing. I found PC Med Center from a Yelp! review and since it was close to my home AND the review was so positive, I took my laptop to them to fix a disastrous upgrade gone horribly wrong to Win10. Dan was so friendly and positive and he gave me a quick rundown of my options that even I, a non-techie layman, could understand. He gave me a time frame for fixing my laptop and then went above and beyond what he promised! My laptop works great and I couldn't be more pleased. These guys are way better than others' so-called geek squads and a real step above the typical suburban pc repair shops. I was extremely happy with every aspect of the service I received at PC Med Center in Monroe. I run a small business out of my home so when my computer crashed everything was on hold. I got a call back within a half hour from Dan, then brought my computer over and worked with Elliot. He listened to all of my concerns and had my computer completely fixed that day. The customer service was extremely courteous and helpful and their knowledge and ability to fix the issues was perfect. Happened to notice their new location while getting a haircut next door. Popped in to ask about my laptop which keeps shutting down on its own and had a good chat with Elliot about my issues. He was very knowledgeable so I gave them a shot, thinking it was gonna be a costly fix. Turns out it was just a fan that stopped working causing overheating. I have used these guys a few times in the past few years, however, this time they really outdid themselves!! I am in Florida and my PC stopped working. I was unable to use my mouse or keyboard. I spent the weekend trying everything, nothing worked. I sent an email to them (using my wife's computer) and they called me first thing Monday morning and resolved my problem over the phone. Took my old gaming PC in for repair. Worked with Dan. Staff are courteous, eager to help, and don't make you feel small or dumb for asking questions. A few months later I decided it was time for a new gaming PC. Dan custom built me a PC that exceeded my expectations that was within budget and an acceptable time range. Found this computer shop via Yelp and want to reinforce the positive reviews. Actually Elliot didn't find anything wrong with my laptop and the problem seemed to be in my Wi-Fi connection. Therefore there was no charge for the diagnosis. Very honest and I appreciated that. If I have a problem would definitely go back. Highly recommend. read more
