Liars, thieves and BS artists extraordinaire! Went in to upgrade two phones and was told that we were eligible for "free" upgrades through a rebate. We foolishly took them at their word and now we are chasing $300 in rebates. Plus they gave us a "free" tablet which costs us $10 a month for the next 2 years!! I have called and visited the store and spoke to the manager who continually says that he is aware of the issue and is working on but has NEVER once returned a call. I spoke with Verizon corporate and they said that we were mislead and they get a number of complaints from this store. STAY AWAY!! read more

Any positive review must have been left a long long time ago. This place absolutely refuses any amount of customer service after they have got you in a contract. @@ Update!@@-4/09/2017 I'm even more aggravated now. I could not understand why my nearly new phone would stop taking a charge. The salesman at this Verizon store actually tried to convince me to buy a new phone. So, I went to the Apple store. Problem? The charging port was stuffed with lint, the result was of too much time spent in my sweat pants pocket. Lint removed -problem solved. There is nothing that aggravates me more than an unsolicited hard sell. Well, maybe there is. I'm still irritated about my recent visit to this Verizon store. I recently began to have problems with my iPhone. It was slow to charge and my sounds were not not working consistently. So, I figured I'd stop in and maybe get some answers from the folks I bought the phone from. The gent behind the counter offered to run a diagnostic which would take around five minutes. Ok. While it was running, I heard the dreaded words, while you're here, you have an old plan. You should take advantage of this new plan. I declined. But that wasn't good enough for this fella. He persisted. I declined again. You don't want to save money, he said. At this point I told him to knock off the hard sell, that I just wanted to find out what was wrong with my phone. The diagnostic was inconconclusive. The salesman said something about a damaged battery due to the fact I charged my phone up at night and left it charging through to morning. He did not address the sound problem I was having. Told me I might consider buying a new phone. Seems to me this place should care more about getting to the root of issues rather than ramming a new service plan down a customer's throat. I won't be back. I would definitely steer clear of this place. My mother went here when her two years were up with Verizon and she was ready for a new phone in exchange for renewing her contract. Basically she was talked into taking some junky floor model Samsung phone and told they knew how to "trade it back in" by pretending it was broken for a "new one". They told her they'd erase any pictures/data on her phone before sending it in. While we thought this was weird she listened to them and traded the floor model phone back in, which was replaced with a phone that definitely was not new or working properly. The cell they gave her was so bad it was unusable; she returned that piece of junk to the store; they offered her the floor model back. They hadn't sent it in and it still had all of her photos on it and text messages.. that's not cool!!! She's using the floor model phone now and it's a piece of crap. This place sucks and now my mom will probably wait 2 more years using the junk phone she was given by shady employees. Update: my mom's floor model phone is completely broken now and cuts out on calls. She visited a different Verizon store for the only exchange she's eligible for now- a "refurbished phone". So yeah, she definitely lost what should have been the chance to get a NEW phone for a 2 year contract by going here. I can't leave less then 1 star but if I could I would. I went there Friday night (Black Friday) 2022 bc my iPhone 13pro would not turn on. No one could fix it so I called assurion & they said they had no appts for 2 weeks but could mail me a replacement. I waited until Monday night to see they sent me an iPhone XR; which was an older device I had to use while waiting for my new one. I had to send that phone back & wait for the 13pro to come in the mail. I was told to call the store as soon as it was activated, which I did on Dec. bc mail was slow. While I was waiting with my old phone/iPad which was fully paid off I was told if I trade in my old IPad ($280) & upgrade to a 9th Gen iPad I would get an additional $100 off.... I just had to switch to a newer 5g plan which would make my new iPad $10 for the line charge Vs $20 ($17 which I was currently paying with my 15% line discount. My phone plan should not have changed at all as it $90 and $10 less with paperless; which was the same as the Do More plan now. I had $25 in loyalty discounts on that line as I had a major issues switching plans a few yrs ago which resulted in all my Apple ID & bank info being leaked etc... prior to that I had a friends & family military discount. Since that was no longer available upper management approved a $25 loyalty discount on my phone line & 15% off my iPad line. Bc that change took me place before Covid & had to be manually entered, I believed it was switched back to loyalty military discounts bc those could be added automatically & worked out to the same amount. I've repeatedly tried to explain this to the loyalty discount team & have been told repeatedly to wait until the next billing cycle & for the last 5 months I've spent hours explaining my bill is not right. In addition to that I am now being charged $470 for the free IPad I got on Black Friday bc they have no record of any promotions or my fully paid off IPad I turned in that night. I explained multiple times before taking the "free" Ipad that I did not want it if it was going to increase my bill in anyway. I liked my old one better personally & only got it and paid the $85 in activation/tax fees that night bc I knew after that I wouldn't owe anything... with my trade in & promo credit & 15% line discount & the line charge dropping to 1/2 off with the new plan It would cancel out the device payments... the absolute most my bill could increase would be .73cent if my discount didn't get added back & def not more then $1 w/surcharges etc.... The last 4 months my bill had been approx $140; which I clearly stated I could not have as I have to follow a strict budget for affordable housing. I understand the first bill would me more bc they bill an extra month in advance but after that it should have been adjusted by now..... I called Verizon multiple times bc I wanted to return the iPad at that point & they kept telling me to wait one more month & everything would be adjusted and not worry about thing. I'm worried now as it's been 4 months (past the 45 day window) I never use the IPad bc it's too heavy... I liked my old one better & now I'm stuck with a "free" iPad that I somehow owe $470 on. I went to the store & they told me they had no record of the IPad I traded in, which I just wanted to get back at that point & no record of any Black Friday promos even thought I still see them online. I'm completely stuck now, I have been a Verizon customer since 2000 (2005) after I graduated & had to pay my own bill & have never experienced an issue like this & don't know what to do? I can't afford my bill that is even worse then what I currently had bc now I still owe $320 for a refurbished phone & $470 on the "free ipad" that I really don't like & didn't want or need at the time, I just got it bc it was a little newer & would only increase my bill $1 at the very most & I lost the only feature I actually used Apple Music; and now owe an extra $40 a month which now puts me at risk of becoming homeless :/ As I explained multiple times I would not make any changes that would cause my bill to go over $100 per month & was assured multiple times that wouldn't happen. I would love to switch companies but no one will give me the exact early termination fees & keep just adding random discount amount to my phone line; while telling me to keep waiting; which I don't have the time or energy to do any longer & have had zero assistance in correcting this issue for months now! read more

AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs. Terrible, incompetent, service. I ordered an iphone 6 that I was told would arrive on a specific day and they would call me when it's in. Over the course of 3 weeks I tried calling and after 7 attempts, I was told they were too busy on the floor or the manager would call me back. Each time, the manager, Francisco never called me and went home. John and Jason were two other people who said they'd call me back and never did. They ended up accidentally canceling my order and when they finally had my phone they tried to charge me again for a phone I paid for already. I had to pull up my bank account to show I paid. Then, they said they shipped the phone to me overnight, but the manager didn't get it out until the next day and I waited another 4 days for the phone. WORST customer service I've ever encountered. Do not go here. I was lied to and told that my iPhone was broken with a hardware issue that could not be fixed. After being told that the cheapest new iPhone was $1,300 (another lie) I reluctantly agreed to purchase a google phone. I was told it would only be an extra $25 a month for my phone. Well, I am now paying almost an extra $100 a month on my phone. I could have gotten the iPhone I actually wanted for cheaper. Verizon has no record of the iPhone 7 I traded in and I never received credit for trading in my iPhone which leads me to believe the employee may have taken it for himself instead of processing it as he should have. TOOK ADVANTAGE of my 80 year old mother who lost her flip phone she had for 15 years. She thought this was a Verizon Store - IT IS NOT. Verizon has NO jurisdiction over them. They are privately run. They sold her a droid - which she couldn't use/didn't know they had changed her plan to include data/didn't understasnd the paperwork they sent her home with. They charged her $35 for the phone and then another $35 re-stiocking fee. Store would not budge on re-funding her $$. I did speak with Manager M.Travetti who witnessed the transaction while my mother was purchasing the phone. His comment to me was "they didn't forcibly make her take the phone." This is NOT an authorized Verizon Store. SHADY practices!!!! Stopped in to understand why my emails were not sending and told my battery was dying and I am available for new phone. Agreed and was given an iPhone 6s. Charged $860 and left with the transfer still in progress. Told as soon as I connect to internet at home this would complete. IT DID NOT. I could not connect to the internet all evening. In the morning I went to my local Verizon Store and was told there is a problem with the phone. In addition, I was charged the wrong price. The iPhone 7 was less expensive at $760! I returned to Gillette to return the phone and complain about the wrong price. The manager Manik Trivedi appeared surprised and said there must have been a price decrease overnight (duh...does he think I am stupid?). He also told me that Verizon would have corrected the pricing in the monthly billing (oh yeah....now he thinks I am drinking his Koolaid!) Next he claims the internet is not an issue and the phone is fine. Then when I said I want a refund, he charged me a 'restocking fee' for returning and not replacing the phone. He badgered me by remarking "You realize you are not saving any money due to the restocking fee and the additional set up costs if I go elsewhere". I replied, "This is NOT about saving money. I willingly paid $860 yesterday. This is about trust and integrity and good business practice. I don't want to do business with you at any cost!" Interesting but I mentioned my new phone to two friends right after I purchased it. They both said, "You didn't go to the store in Gillete did you?" They were aware of other people who had shared a similar experience. And now that I ready the comments here, please avoid this store at all costs. read more

Be careful working with this store. They sell device upgrades and fail to tell you that you are still under a contract on the old equipment that will need to pay for until the term runs out. When you call Verizon Wireless the main company, they will not do anything to correct this and still will bill you for both devices until the term period runs out. read more

Horrible experience. Shady operation. No stars would be more appropriate. I went in with a cracked screen on my phone looking to use my insurance to replace it. I was told I was eligible to upgrade to a droid turbo with a plan that would save me $20 per month. I was told I would have to send in my old phone to avoid being charged for the new one. However, I was NOT told at any point that my old phone needed to "be in good working condition, not broken or cracked." Fast forward two months later, I was charged $300 for returning a broken device. Verizon sent the old, cracked phone back to me. I called customer support. The representative told me to take the old phone to the store and explain what had happened. She said the store manager would have to remove the charges due to the salesmen's negligence. I followed their instructions. The manager, Fransisco, seemed unapologetic and told me to leave the cracked phone with him, he would send in a different phone under my name and that's how the charges would be removed. I left the store feeling like this wasn't the end of it and it wasn't. I made several calls to customer support in regards to my situation as I began receiving notifications that I needed to pay the outstanding balance on my bill to avoid service interruptions. After speaking with several representatives it was clear that I had been scammed again. Apparently, Fransisco could never have sent in another phone under my name and should not have kept my broken phone. I spoke with both Fransisco and a customer support rep this morning. He claims he will credit my account by the end of the week. When I asked why not right now? His response, "I can't pull the money out of my pockets." Don't get scammed by these people! DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE - just as the other reviews below say, completely dishonest scammers, outright lying and deceipt. Worst experience I have ever had. I went in with a question about my phone as I thought it was acting funny. Was told the phone had a virus that couldn't be fixed as it got in the "mother board" and was told this was because I was using my Optimum WiFi at home. Was talked into a new phone, Turbo, to pay $100 in store. When I went to pick up the phone, was told the promotion expired, which should not have mattered since. Anyway, that kicked off a week of stress , frustration and countless hours lost to issues with new phone, hours on the phone with customer service, etc. It is bad enough that we have scammer calling and emailing us ruthlessly and I feel like these people acted just like that, absolutely horrendous. They are a horrible reflection on Verizon. If not for Verizon Customer Service being great to deal with, I would no longer be a Verizon customer. read more
