Freddy = Service Excellence Personified! From the purchasing process through delivery, redelivery, installation, and follow-up, Freddy went above and beyond at every step to ensure that my wife and I were completely satisfied with our purchase of the LG LF24Z6330S 24 cu. ft. Counter-Depth MAX™ with Zero Clearance™ 3-Door French Door Refrigerator with Craft Ice. Freddy had previously provided us with exceptional service a few years ago when I purchased two Samsung Bespoke 5.3 cu. ft. Ultra Capacity Ventless Heat Pump All-in-One Washer/Dryer Combos with Super Speed in Dark Steel. I was specifically looking for an electric, ventless combo unit, and Freddy introduced me to the Samsung model. I ultimately purchased two--one for each of my tenants--with designated circuit breakers. I have had absolutely no issues with either unit, and my tenants remain ecstatic! But I digress... When my wife and I returned from vacation in June, we discovered that our refrigerator was no longer operating. Rather than invest in repairs, such as replacing the condenser, we decided it was time to purchase a new refrigerator. I contacted Freddy, and he immediately went to work making the necessary arrangements, including expediting the delivery. Because we needed to come into PC Richard to complete the purchase, Freddy arranged for us to meet with Michael on his day off. When we arrived at PC Richard, Michael greeted us and expertly walked us through the entire purchasing process. He even helped us open a new PC Richard account so we could receive the $100 purchase card for future use. To make the experience even better, Michael matched the sale price we had found at Home Depot. The refrigerator was delivered promptly, but unfortunately, the initial installation was subpar--even though I had tipped the installers. The doors and handles were not installed symmetrically, and the vents were not functioning properly. Once again, Freddy stepped in. He arranged for a service technician to come out and address the problems. The technician attempted to align the doors and handles but was unable to correct them, and he could not determine why the vents were not operating. When a second visit that had been scheduled through the repair center was not honored, Freddy personally intervened and advocated on our behalf. Rather than allowing us to continue dealing with a defective installation, Freddy worked to have the faulty refrigerator removed and arranged for a brand-new replacement unit to be delivered. He also made sure the replacement was properly installed. We have now had the replacement refrigerator for two months, and my wife absolutely loves it--especially the Craft Ice round ice balls! The refrigerator's Zero Clearance™ doors are another fantastic feature because of the tight space where the refrigerator is recessed. The doors can open without interfering with the surrounding cabinetry, drawers, or the refrigerator's frame, making it a perfect fit for our kitchen. However, as impressive as the refrigerator is, what truly stands out to us is Freddy's exceptional customer service. He demonstrated genuine ownership of our experience from beginning to end. He remained responsive, persistent, and committed to making things right--even when he was off duty. That level of dedication is rare and deserves to be recognized. Freddy's customer service excellence is a major reason why PC Richard remains our first choice whenever we are shopping for appliances. We know that when we work with Freddy, we are not simply purchasing an appliance--we are getting someone who genuinely cares about his customers and will go the extra mile to make sure they are happy. Thank you, Freddy, for once again providing outstanding service and for making what could have been a frustrating experience into a truly positive one. Your professionalism, dedication, and commitment to customer satisfaction are greatly appreciated! read more

Came to check out their dish washer and refrigerator. Spoke with Frank Nwosu and he was able to assist!!! Super friendly guy and direct. He didn't try to up-sell or convince me to go with another product. He showed us what they had in stock on the floor (which was pretty low but it was like that everywhere) and let us be. When we finally decided, he was able to get us set up and provided us with the details of the process and estimated delivery dates. His personality was great - laugh and smile. We were making jokes and felt really comfortable with him. He's really a down to earth guy. If you go here, ask for Frank and he'll be able to assist. read more

Yesterday I went to pick up a tv that I paid for the day before, it was supposed to be on a truck that was coming in at noon, to my surprise the tv wasn't on the truck and I feared I was going to get the run around. I asked for the mgr , who's name was Tom and the first thing he said is," this is on us,it's our mistake and I will get you out of here with a new tv of equal value". Turns out I got an even better tv 5" bigger and a better brand and he worked it out so I paid $100 less than the sticker because of their error. Look, nobody wants to get jammed up but between Tom and Freddie, who is a great representation of the company I was very satisfied, I walked out of there with my tv and I did not have to suffer through arguing with anyone . I'm a big fan of Tom and Freddie now, they handled my situation as well as I could expect !! read more

We will never buy anything from PC Richard & Son again. We purchased a new washer/dryer in July that are fine. However, one of their delivery men accidentally backed into our iron fence and broke two sections, which is costly to repair. We have talked to many PR Richard & Son Customer Service representatives over the past 6 weeks and they refuse to take responsibility for the accident. I personally heard the metal crunch but they refuse to be accountable without video evidence. I've encountered extremely low integrity with their team and find it surprising that they would sacrifice a client to cover up an accident. read more

The store had a low inventory. The salesperson became mad because my friend asked the manager to go lower on the price and he obliged. The salesperson walked off in a huff after being told by the manger to relax. Unprofessional. The sales person also asked about my profession because he overheard a convo between me and my friend. Nosey and unprofessional. read more

This store is very carefree and has no since of accountability for the inconvenience they causes I ordered a refrigerator back in October of 2020 I'm still without a refrigerator its now February 2021. I have purchased a total of three different refrigerator the first on was on back order the second was to big to fit in my house so they measured told P.C. Richard the measurements. I received a phone call from P.C. Richard told me they had the measurements for me to come in and pick out refrigerator three. I go they showed me a refrigerator they said would fit in my house I said ok purchased it. informed the rep I live on the third floor and that the delivery guy was annoyed when he got to the third floor of an house. Rep said it would be ok not to worry. so I set up a delivery day for Feb. 24th. Today is now yes 24th the delivery guys come walk up to my apartment and say it wont fit in. I say that's not true you guys measured this is what P.C. Richard said I needed. the guy said it wont fit goes back outside to the truck across the street and would not bring it up. I called P.C. Richard they put me on a long hold. delivery guys drive away. I hang up call P.C Richards again and ask for a refund. They tell me I have to come back to Watchung store. I go ask to speak to a manger spoke with a guy named Kenny said he was the store manger but could not explain to me why this the third refrigerator that they measured for still wont fit he looks me in my eyes and says he does not know. I am a minimum wage worker I have been buying fast food since November 2020 I'm spending every little cent I have to buy fast food all because P.C Richards does not care about the inconvenience they have caused me just as long a they got there money. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER THING FROM THIS COMPANY EVERYAGAIN. YOU SHOULD NOT AS WELL read more

I went to the store to purchase a deep freezer and to compare prices on 4 other kitchen appliances. I was fortunate to have Caroline help me with my purchase. I felt comfortable with Caroline from the beginning. She has a great personality, patient and very knowledgeable of the products. She went above and beyond to get me all the savings I could have on my purchases. There's no better service than what Caroline provided. Very grateful. read more

I went to PC Richard & Son in Watchung, NJ a few days ago because I was told they have the best prices. They may have decent prices but their customer service absolutely sucks! When I first walked in the gentlemen standing in the front who normally greets people did not greet me. In fact he ended up walking after me once he saw I was looking at kitchen appliances. I was about ready to purchase the appliances but decided not too. I felt like I was being rushed and that the young gentlemen had no patience. It was by far the worst experience I've ever had in-store and will never go there again. read more

Would be hard to find a better place to buy an appliance or grill or tv , or mattress. the service is impeccable , the manager Tom went out of his way for us on a small sale. Friendly, dependable, great installation service, terrific bran selection. Bestbuy doesn't hold a candle to this place, and you don't get sales help at Costco. read more

APPLIANCE REPAIR - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !!! Do not even consider using PC Richard's appliance repair service. For a simple dishwasher repair (just out of warranty, but parts were covered after i made them check with MFG) it has now been a MONTH AND IS NOT YET FIXED - they schedule a visit a week out, then need to order part... and other few days... they will not even schedule a return visit until parts come in then you wait another week... Ok, so it gets fixed... We ran it for ONE LOAD... SAME PROBLEM... start process over - IT GETS WORSE - now they come with WRONG PART, again order part/reschedule... NOW TECH IS SICK, reschedule some more... Attitude from all involved they could not care less. DON'T BUY THERE and certainly DON'T USE THEIR SERVICE!!!! UPDATE: Now after being put off again until tomorrow... they tell me they either never had the latest part - or Lost it... and need to ORDER ANOTHER PART... How they are still in business I cannot imagine!... ANOTHER UPDATE: Finally after about 5 weeks and many screw-ups they finally seem to CARE, they started being nice and tried to arrange several times to fix the dishwasher before Christmas... only to keep messing up on parts orders and ultimately failing to meet that deadline... They did, at that point, declare the dishwasher UNREPAIRABLE and refunded the full amount of the purchase towards a new unit. I do appreciate the customer service at the end of the process, and am now enjoying the new dishwasher (or a different brand) that was delivered today. I stand by my description of the customer service and incompetence of the service department in my first 5 weeks of dealing with them. read more

I went in on Black Friday, one of the first customers. Went to the same salesmen I normally go to. With different results. I had the worst costumer service experience I've ever had a PC Richard location! I've been shopping there since the 90's. Was told by by there staff that on Black Friday's they don't spend much time with customers. Even tho I was one of two customers in there. Very poor experience and rude salesman and bad management. I ended up walking out of the store and went to Best Buy! Where I had a great experience! read more

I am a loyal customer and time and time again have gone back because of the great customer service. My salesman Frank was efficient, negotiated fairly with me. The price was better than Home Depot and you can't beat their delivery service. They show up as scheduled which in my world is very important due to my work schedule. read more

Our quest for a new refrigerator brought us to PC Richards (Watchung) where we have previously had good experiences. We have an old house and therefore a unique size requirement which limited our choices. Salesman Chris Whyte and his manager, Mike Gouveia, really went well beyond our expectations as they researched specific dimensions and details to ensure that we would get the style we wanted at a size we needed. They were willing to work with us since the model was more expensive than we had anticipated and we walked out as very happy customers. We are very happy with our new refrigerator. Thank you, Chris and Mike! read more

We really enjoyed working with Frantz. We had 7 major appliances to buy after moving back to the USA from abroad. Walking away with all 7 in one day and, still feeling-- two weeks later, that the choices were good ones, is wonderful. Delivery smooth. I didn't give five stars, because although pricing was reasonable, we only got about a 2-3% discount total when I price compared with their online prices and with other stores. Because of the big bucks we were spending all it one place at one time, I would have hoped for at least 5% off the total. Next time!:) read more
