He communicated well, showed up when we agreed, fixed the problem for a final cost very close to the initial estimate. The slight difference was to be expected as there were 4 (or 5?) circuit breakers that had to be replaced. He followed up on some other issues that he and I noticed, with a plumber that he works with, with as good an experience. For the cynics out there, John, pka Breeze is proof that there are honest, capable, personable tradespeople out there!!! Make him your go-to electrician, he's mine!

It is now October 25 and I still do not have the couch. Yesterday the company announced they were pursuing bankruptcy and would not be offering refunds. They also said they would not be able to communicate any more about the whereabouts of my couch. I understand they are in a tough place but they literally have $4000 from me. I was strung along with emails promising things like a $500 refund and messages that if I just wait my couch will be here soon. I can only say they are irresponsible and corrupt and effectively stole my money. I will update this review if I receive a refund.

In short, I highly advise you seek a refund as getting your purchase seems extremely unlikely at this point. I placed my order in June and still have not received the couches - haven't even received an estimated delivery date. Completely unacceptable from any business (big or small) after spending THOUSANDS of dollars on product. Teak is in ongoing litigation with the company that actually makes the Teddy sofa, OMHU. Teak claims to have the couches in their US warehouse but with no proof and zero guidance on when they plan to actually ship anything out. I implore anyone waiting on Teak for an answer to save yourself the time and hassle and just try and somehow get a refund on your order. Based on the latest update I got, things look bleak for Teak and there's really no telling whether you'll ever get your order. It's worth thinking about whether they'll even be able to refund you at all now that they're in a legal battle with OMHU. For what it's worth, you're able to buy the same couches for significantly less now on OMHU's US site.
