Look no further--go with Breezy Electric!…read more I'm a big believer that you get what you pay for, and Breezy Electric is absolutely worth it. John stands behind his work, takes pride in what he does, and genuinely cares about getting the job done the right way. As first-time homeowners, we've had a lot of projects to tackle, and John has guided us in the right direction every step of the way. Our first project with Breezy Electric was grounding our pool while it was being renovated. John also handled the pool light connections, as well as the electrical work for the pool heater and pump. I interviewed several electricians before choosing Breezy, and what really stood out about John was how thoroughly he explained everything after I described what we wanted. He also made thoughtful suggestions that, looking back, I'm very glad we followed. He wasn't just focused on completing the immediate job--he was thinking ahead about what we would eventually want to do with the property. Another huge plus was how well John coordinated with Gus Pools throughout the pool renovation. That communication made a big difference and helped keep the pool construction on schedule. Since I was planning a full backyard renovation, including outdoor lighting, a gas grill, and an EV charger, John also made sure to leave the proper electrical connections in place for future projects. That kind of foresight has been extremely valuable as we continue renovating. I haven't had any serious issues with the work, but whenever there has been a small hiccup, John has always been responsive. For example, I once didn't realize an outdoor GFCI outlet had tripped, and John was quick to come by or send someone to take a look. Overall, if you're hesitant about who to hire for an electrical project, I highly recommend Breezy Electric. John is knowledgeable, thorough, responsive, and stands behind his work. Breezy Electric has become our go-to electrician, and I'll continue using them for any electrical work we need at our home. (more pictures to come)

I chose Breezy from the 3 that Yelp offered up based on reading the reviews and the timeliness of…read moreJohn's response. I also appreciate that he gave a (reasonable) estimate based on my initial description of the project. He communicated well, showed up when we agreed, fixed the problem for a final cost very close to the initial estimate. The slight difference was to be expected as there were 4 (or 5?) circuit breakers that had to be replaced. He followed up on some other issues that he and I noticed, with a plumber that he works with, with as good an experience. For the cynics out there, John, pka Breeze is proof that there are honest, capable, personable tradespeople out there!!! Make him your go-to electrician, he's mine!

If you just want a cheap lamp for your desk, this probably might not be the best choice. But, they helped me set up some really cool lighting for my apartment and I felt it was fairly priced. What I needed took some time to create, but the owners answered all my questions and was very communicative throughout the process. Their stock seems to be more parts, rather than complete items - but that's kinda the cool thing. If you're interested in custom lighting options, it might be worth just to drop by this place. Also, very non sales-y (in a good way) and gives you straight forward answers.

Had a great first experience years ago with Roy having a MCM tulip floor lamp rewired but my recent…read moreexperience was awful. The wife of the owner screamed at me on the phone when I raised that there was a new deep scratch on the top of the base of an MCM chrome lamp that I had asked to have rewired after it was returned to me. I called immediately after the lamp arrived. She first claimed that the removal of tape I had put on there had caused the underlying paint to flake off (I had not put any tape on it), then said it must have been my doorman who caused it since I didn't hand off the lamp myself on pick up (I had specifically requested to do the handoff to avoid something like this but wasn't notified when they were arriving and wasn't given a window) and then, while arguing and yelling at me, tried to guilt trip me because her husband was recovering from surgery. Good businesses acknowledge the issue, regardless of how it was caused and then collaborate professionally to come up with a solution. And if there are personal circumstances that can understandably disrupt business operations, don't take on new work. There's no way I would ever use them again.
