Absolutely love the work that Erick and his team at Eco Electrician did on my bathroom fan. This fan used to have to be plugged into an outlet to use like a dive-bar. It was annoying and very "frat house-y" while Erick was doing another job for me, I ran this by him and he blew me away the results from today's install. Crispy clean work, as usual from Erick. Ezrick is a rare combination of knowledgeable, efficient, reliable and just so kind. I have worked with him for over 10 years. I have a newer brownstone but the builder took a lot of wonky shortcuts, and Ezrick has fixed each and every one. Whether it is a small job or big mess, I have always been able to rely on him. I trust him completely. I have referred him out to many people and hear nothing but great things back. Oh and he's super responsive. To top it off he's just one of the best humans. Spent less than 20 mins to "troubleshoot" to say call NationalGrid to activate the PLP meter and proceeded to charge $260. Will not use or recommend to anybody. RIP OFF. read more

These guys were life-savers. Due to an emergency, had to call them up at like 10pm on Tuesday, and they arrived on time, not long after, and fixed the problem promptly. Called to get a quote on replacing the circuit breaker. They couldn't fix it but then said it would be $120 additional just to check the outlets. And charged $160 service charge for nothing. STAY AWAY!!!! read more

Had to join Yelp just to write this review and warn you people out there. Had an issue with my upstairs light not working. He came over spent 5 minutes looking at break box said it could be fixed or not but wasn't sure. Asked for 160$ and took off. I went on YouTube and fixed the circuit my self in a half hour. How incredible to find an honest and professional electrician. My overhead lights blew and tripped the breaker. After flipping the circuit back on they still wouldnt work. Called at 7pm and mike came by 830. Diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue for the price quoted. In addition he fixed a non working fixture and replaced a light switch cover that was giving me problems. Highly reccomend. read more

We had a 11.30pm emergency where we lost all power. Erick came out in 45 min and got us back and running. He was honest and kept us calm. He sourced a hard to find part the next day and installed the part within 30min. We couldn't thank him more and will now use him for all our electrical needs. Would recommend to anyone! Didn't come when scheduled or call to tell my he'd be late. I had to call him to find out where he was and he said he could come later. When he did come I had him change three lighting fixtures. He charged me $90 for each one. One of them didn't work but he charged me anyway and was going to leave me with no light there until I told him that I needed some sort of light in that room so he reattached a part from an old fixture there so I have a bulb and wires hanging out of the ceiling. Left parts of fixtures, plaster, and electrical parts everywhere. Got plaster all over my new couch. He said he'd come back and put up the new fixture when I get a replacement but I'm afraid he'll get plaster and parts everywhere so I'm going to have to go with someone else. What a waste of money. read more

This guy is incredibly unprofessional and likely hoping you are uninformed so he can overcharge you. I called him asking for a quote - he then called me back, and I asked where he was calling from. He refused to answer the question and asked if I was getting other quotes as well. I said yes, obviously, as everyone should be - and then he abruptly hung up. He then did not answer any of my calls. I am a co-owner of a 2 family house in Brooklyn. Our house is wacky - with lots of strange wiring from the developers who flipped the house in the cheapest way possible. They made so many strange wiring decisions that have had ramifications for years. We are still uncovering the mess after purchasing the house 14 years ago. Ezrick has been a great resource in helping us figure out how to make things right. He's been thoughtful and clear, sometimes spending hours just trying to figure out how to make the situation right, and most importantly safe. Also, he's extremely fair in his pricing. He always calls ahead, letting me know when he'll be here so I never have to wait around. We've used his services more than 5 times (from installing new fixtures, to fixing old outlets) and are always extremely satisfied. Also, Ezrick is chill. He's very easy to have in your home. I had a simple (or so I thought) job to install a light fixture. I called several electricians who quoted me what seemed like exorbitant rates, but Rick came through with a very reasonable $60. As it turns out the job wasn't so simple - my light fixture was blown and I had to get it rewired. Rick was very patient, explained just what I needed to get done, and then came back and did the actual installation when the fixture was fixed for free.
