Switching from T Mobile to Verizon was a nightmare. It took hours and multiple visits. The "promotion" that drew us in to pay off our TMobile bill to switch was never done correctly and we were told incorrect information. After 5 months and multiple contacts, I had to resubmit all the info to Verizon and am still waiting. Asked to have the local manager call but 2 days later there has been no contact. Brent is a wonderful, patient teacher especially when being a senior citizen, I'm not the most tech savvy. I have some knowledge but he is wonderful. It's important to ask questions until you understand and he is patient and a good listener. I will highly recommend him to my friends but I will also tell my friends to make sure and really understand and not be afraid to ask questions. I will not hesitate to go back if I have questions. Verizon owes me $800 in credits. Very poor customer service I've dealt with them long enough after 11years of service with them they won't give me my credits back. There customer service is by far the worst spoke to a supervisor that was yelling at me and wouldn't let me speak one of there reps. Told me to go fuck myself. read more

Bryant told us we were not eligible for a Verizon Discount that wee were messaged about from Verizon directly. He stated that Verizon should not be sending "these messages out". The discount was worth $650 off a new iPhone. He proceeded to sell us a full priced iPhone, $1099, because we did not qualify for any discount. Come to find out from Verizon Wireless directly we were in fact eligible for this discount as stated right in our account that he should have seen and honored. On May 27th. I couldn't get my phone to work. Showed it to Nicole at Verizon Store on Gilmore Ave. in Winona MN & she said it was junk. Went in the back & brought out a Samsung A 51. said it was $420 I asked do you have anything cheaper or another phone. Dope it was the only one in stock. She was waiting on 3 people at the same time. After 3 hours she couldn't get the Sim card to work. Went out to get a bite to eat. Went back & she said I should come back today at 1:00. I did & she said while she was waiting on another person, Eileen here is your working phone. End of that. Yesterday she never asked me if I wanted another Samsung . My old one is a Samsung Galaxy J36V. Never looked to see if it was a problem just said after she turned it on it's junk went in the back & brought out this Samsung A51.. She told me the cord would work on this new one too. It doesn't so have to get another cord to work in a vehicle another one for the camper. What's up with that? An expense I wasn't looking for. I'm 76 years old & every penny counts. So 75 miles we had to go extra today because it wasn't working yesterday. She said she couldn't transfer my pictures or contacts. She said she tried the contacts yesterday while I was there but how could she when the phone wasn't working yet. Am I dissatisfied you bet I am. Thank You for listening. I have never experienced such terrible service in a retail store. I was not going to write a review until I found out the store manager charged me 3 times the cost of my new phone. Yes, three times. He even asked me if there was something wrong with my national bank's debit card. He then asked me if I had a check book or cash to cover the cost. I wrote a check for $621.57. Now I have been waiting for someone to contact the district manager to return 2 transactions of $621.57 that were withdrawn 2 days ago that just showed up on my bank account. Yesterday I drove to another town 45 miles away to have someone at another Verizon store finish setting up my phone with my watch. The technician stated that there was a glitch on my phone and I would not have been able to correct it without a technician's assistance. I was told on my second visit to the Winona store that I would need to do it myself. During my first and second visit I felt I was an inconvenience to the sale person who stood at the front counter and offered no privacy with our business exchange. I had other customers making comments to me about what I should do or not do. I noted overconfidence and a lack of salesmanship throughout both interactions with this person.
