At work yesterday, we were talking about Charter Communications. It was a past customer of ours…read more It sparked me to find this listing. When I moved to Rochester, MN, I had to get various services set up. I got my cable and internet services from Charter Communications. Back then, to get them set up, you couldn't do it over the phone. In a way, I was glad because I didn't have that service set up at the time, either! I went to the closest Charter location to get both services set up. It made sense to go with cable internet at the time. I could have the same company for both my TV and internet. I went with a deluxe channel lineup for my TV. When I got a DirectTV account, I downgraded to basic channels with Charter. It worked perfectly. I don't remember any full cable outages. I always got to see my TV shows. My cable internet service wasn't perfect. When it was down, it was down. Luckily, I didn't have the need to work from home. However, when you're trying to do tasks online and you can't, it was a pain. When I moved back to Winnipeg, cancelling my services was smooth. I was pleased. I hope that internet services offered by Charter are more stable these days. Otherwise, I had a good experience with the TV side. (51)
