Had a lady help me and my mom upgrade a phone. She asked me which one I wanted. I told her I have…read morepro max now and asked the size comparison. After that conversation I decided I did not want to downsize and stay with the pro max she then asked what color I wanted and went to the back to grab it for me. We were making small talk as she was getting things ready. And she handed me the phone to type in a password. I said "wow this is smaller than I was expecting" she paid no attention to me as she was texting on her personal phone then I handed it back to her. My fault for the miss communication but again she should've let me see it before starting the transfer. I paid what I needed to and no complaint about that. She then put my new phone back in the box and handed it to me as I couldn't use it yet cause it was transferring. I then made my way to the store to pick out a case. I got my old phone out (iPhone 14 pro max) and held my new one next to it and said "wow this is not right" I went to the settings and looked at the phone and realized she upgraded me to a pro instead of pro max. I said no big deal it was an accident and headed back to the store. They were busy so we patiently waited. I work in customer service so I know how it is when things are busy and stressful and trying to keep a good attitude. But I told her my situation and she said "no you said you did want to downsize" I said no it was a simple mistake and it's fine. She then said "well my manger isn't here I will need them to help return it and you will pay a $55 restocking fee" i said I am not paying anything because it was not my fault. She then said she can't do anything till 9 am the next morning with her manager. Could improve on customer service skills and apologize but she did not once say sorry. I know things happen but it could've been handled better. I am now without as I work tomorrow and have to send my things with my mom as she is the authorized user.

Awful. Really just abysmal. Worst service I've ever gotten. How do you say "you need to file a…read moreclaim" and direct me to a fake website?
