Had a lady help me and my mom upgrade a phone. She asked me which one I wanted. I told her I have pro max now and asked the size comparison. After that conversation I decided I did not want to downsize and stay with the pro max she then asked what color I wanted and went to the back to grab it for me. We were making small talk as she was getting things ready. And she handed me the phone to type in a password. I said "wow this is smaller than I was expecting" she paid no attention to me as she was texting on her personal phone then I handed it back to her. My fault for the miss communication but again she should've let me see it before starting the transfer. I paid what I needed to and no complaint about that. She then put my new phone back in the box and handed it to me as I couldn't use it yet cause it was transferring. I then made my way to the store to pick out a case. I got my old phone out (iPhone 14 pro max) and held my new one next to it and said "wow this is not right" I went to the settings and looked at the phone and realized she upgraded me to a pro instead of pro max. I said no big deal it was an accident and headed back to the store. They were busy so we patiently waited. I work in customer service so I know how it is when things are busy and stressful and trying to keep a good attitude. But I told her my situation and she said "no you said you did want to downsize" I said no it was a simple mistake and it's fine. She then said "well my manger isn't here I will need them to help return it and you will pay a $55 restocking fee" i said I am not paying anything because it was not my fault. She then said she can't do anything till 9 am the next morning with her manager. Could improve on customer service skills and apologize but she did not once say sorry. I know things happen but it could've been handled better. I am now without as I work tomorrow and have to send my things with my mom as she is the authorized user. read more

BUYERS BEWARE! This store just admitted to me that every customer with a new phone leaves with $17 monthly insurance plan added to their account to cover accidents. This happened to me x2 with ZERO DISCLOSURE. Then, I had to painstakingly work with Customer Service to have it removed. There was no agreement or discussion about this. Check your bills people! Totally unethical. I would have never found out except that I received an email in my junk folder about some company called Asurion. COMPLETE SCAM. SHAME ON YOU ATT FESTUS. I just upgraded four phones on our account at the Festus MO store with the Manager Caleb. He added insurance without asking and they added it for each line plus added insurance for all four phones as a group so we were double billed for insurance we didn't ask for or want. Then they added two extra lines because "It would save us money". That was just a scam. Called AT$T and were told we shouldn't use that store again. They removed the extra (Commission Makers) phone numbers and saved us $300 off the first bill and $60 a month for each additional bill. Never go into this store. They will rip you off and lie about it to your face. Even a second manager looked at our bill and said everything was correct the extra phone numbers SAVED us money. What a joke. Plus it eliminated our old plan which was much better. Sorry I can't give less stars. read more

My service seemed fine until I received my bill. I spoke only with a manager each time I went in or called. I was assured I would receive credits for a trade-in program. Instead I received a bill for almost $300 over what was agreed upon. I also spoke with the manager about it and he saw there were issues with the order, promised to call me back that day, never has called me back. I called this location again and ended up having to call corporate help who said never use this location. As a business, you should NEVER use this location for setting up or purchasing phones. These people sold me a phone that is either defective or is just a terrible model. The numbers "jump" so that when I press "3" I get "33." This happens constantly and it's very hard to text or download voicemails. I've been in at least twice trying to get them to change it out. All they are interested in doing is upselling me to a more expensive model and a three-year contract. NO THANK YOU. I tried to get it switched out today and the young woman smirked as she told me my 14 days had expired and all she could do is sell me another one. She didn't even bother to move her little feet and see if she had another one of this model. This store is a great reason to switch to Verizon, T Mobile, anyone. ANYONE. read more

Had an issue with my phone so I went in and the employee didn't even seem like he wanted to give me the time of day. Said everything was fine and it was ok because that's the way his phone was. Really didn't even attempt to solve the issue. So I left and called the main AT&T number and they got it fixed in five minutes. I have no problems with AT&T itself, just the customer service at this location. read more

I would give this place a negative -5 star if I could. I have never given a bad review before but I feel it is necessary to avoid this place from misleading other customers. They promised incentives to get me to switch and when I did I they didn't follow through with the what they had offered me. I have spoken to several people who now tell me to stear clear of this place because of all the horrible stories from customers. I have called corporate and they are investigating it. I hope I get a least 1/2 of what was promised. Please be careful ! I wish I had known before I went in this store. That's why I'm posting to warn you. Don't deal with these people but if you must, make them put it in writing or something that you have proof. read more

Watch out for the sales staff, they will lie to you, deceive you, and cheat you out of your hard earned money just to get a sale. Don't bother complaining to managers, they are the worst and won't give you the contact info to their supervisors so they can cover their asses. read more

I have been coming to this store for the past 5 years. In that time, I have set up our families cell phones and plans, our home Internet service (since we live rurally) and whenever we have problems. I have worked with several staff. Monty, in particular, has been amazingly helpful and has saved us alot of headaches and money with the problems he has been able to easily solve. I have read the other negative reviews, but have had nothing but good experiences here. I will be continuing to use this store for our phone needs as they have been great. read more

I was here not long ago with my sister and all I have to say is we sat there for hours while people ignored us and this girl with brown curly hair stood there making rude comments to other staff members and blatantly laughing at us. We think it was because we requested service from a particular person who worked very nicely with us and she seemed to have opines with that it appeared. We honestly wouldn't have minded another person considering how long we waited, nobody offered after though and just ignored us. they were very rude and disrespectful except for the men, they were all very polite but some of the girls are very superficial and rude. Could tell the brown curly haired one had a major thing for this other young guy there, she was constantly on her phone and didn't speak to us once, just looked at us and giggled and whispered to others while looking our way. So unprofessional. I actually didn't see her help one person just text and giggle and talk and make looks... disappointed. read more

sorry folks this place is incompetent of customer service as is att as a whole. my first visit they skipped over me because i just needed a sim card not a phone or service. next visit they charged me for a sim card. called att and after an hour i saved 5.00 lol read more
