This experience is so unlike most of other ones I've had. I normally don't come here as I don't always receive great treatment but I needed something quick. The customer service was actually impeccable and the representative went out of his way to find a case for my phone in which they didn't have many of but he brought all the styles out from the back. honestly if I could it would've been no stars, don't trust this company what so ever. I tried it and within a month they completely over charged me, so i wanted to return it. I paid them the monthly bill and requested to cancel my service and subscription. Within a month, they charged me ANOTHER $100. Bumped up to $200 and bumped to $237 the amount of calls and mails i received about my failure to comply and pay the debt I so called "owed". How is it that i owed anything. and how do you not help after i email you, contacted and constantly asked and called. just for me to finally pay you the "debt" that was never mine, and just for you to drop my credit drastically because of a "collection" was unpaid. The biggest mistake I have made in telephony selection has been Verizon. Not only is their phone-based customer service hampered by unintelligent tools, the manager 'call back' has yet to ever occur. I spent over 6 hours trying to resolve the issue of my son's mobile phone being dropped when the San Diego cell towers lost power. He even spent an additional 3 hours at a local Verizon store! He lacked a phone for 8 days - without the manager 'call back' we simply switched him over to Tmobile -- we were supposed to receive a $100 inconvenience fee -- what we got was a $350 surcharge -- not appropriate since his phone was a 'bring your own' and although the promo required staying with Verizon for 12 months, meaning until May 2023, Verizon forced the change to a different provider due to their inability to fix his problem and provide telephony access! Now I'm awaiting the euphemistic manager 'callback' and I will only believe it when it happens! That callback never happened Don't switch to Verizon!!! read more

Great Covid protocols. I had a really bad experience buying a phone from Costco. Returned it the very next morning and went to this Verizon today. I made an appt. and got in within 10 minutes despite a lot of walk ins waiting. Nick was relatively new but he was transparent, not sales-y, knowledgeable, helpful and very nice. If I need to come back soon, I'll ask for him. THRN, as I got in my car, my screen turned bright red so I went back in. Nick was not there and I waited as long as I had originally with 3 other sale people around, 2 of which were there the entire time I was (90+ minutes). Not one of them would even make eye contact. Nick came out of the back and helped me immediately (some weird zoom thing that apparently happens and a restart is needed). So, thanks Nick and to the other 3, RUDE! read more

What I thought I got on my account walking out the door is nothing what I saw on my account when I came home. The plans and the monthly charges were all jacked up. Buyer beware! I didn't get the rep's name unfortunately, but wanted to make people aware of the dishonest practices that are taking place in this store. In short, my daughter and I stopped by Verizon yesterday to switch her service over to an older phone of mine, since hers wasn't working. The rep opened my phone, supposedly pulled it up online and said that he couldn't activate the phone since it had been reported lost or stolen. This phone was working fine when I had decided to get myself a new one. He proceeded to attempt to sell her the most expensive android phone in the store ("the only on that had a shatterproof screen"). Once he realized that she wasn't going to purchase it, he quickly came up with another option (also shatterproof screen) that was half the price. With two months remaining on her contract, I convinced her to wait until I did some research. I went to a Cricket store and asked them if she could open an account with them and gave them my older phone to see if it could be used. The story told to me by the Verizon rep was a blatant lie. I was told that she could definitely use the phone, or they would give her a new one for free since she was transferring services (which is what ended up happening). I was a Verizon customer for over 20 years and my daughter had her account for years, as well. I won't be going back. read more

Terrell and Carlos are two of the worst people I've ever met. Terrell said offensive and derogatory remarks over my brother and I sitting in "his desk space." He then preceded to tell us to leave after we asked why he was rude. We then asked Carlos what was so funny and why we are being treated this way out of nowhere, he wouldn't even look up from his phone. The other salesman then apologized and tried to justify Terrell's actions by saying "oh he talks to customers like that." If anyone ever spoke to a customer like this in our business, we would fire them and let every future employer know just how unprofessional, disrespectful, and ignorant those two salesmen are. Offender- Robert Solutions manager :) I had the worst experience I have ever had in all of my years as a VZW customer and VZW employee. As a 37 year old woman, I was treated like a 4 year old child by the "Solutions Manager," Robert. His dismissive, snarky, and short-tempered attitude is certainly not what I'd expect from someone seeking solutions. I am appalled at how this "solutions manager" not only failed at having any solutions, he also got offended when I showed him the solution - in turn angering him more & prompting him to rudely, and with contempt, tell me that he didn't have time to help me, wouldn't look any further at my solution, and accused me of being "upset because I wasn't getting my way." I was barely upset, but if I was, it was because I was attacked as he walked up to me telling me that he couldn't help me & immediately treating me like a liar and a thief who didn't deserve to be heard - all for trying to pick up MY order. An order that I specifically called and spoke with the store manager and the appropriate employee accounts department to confirm that I was indeed set to pick up at that store. After blowing me off & trying to walk by me while gesturing to someone else, he told me to cancel my order and that he didn't care what happened but he "wasn't giving me that bag." To be honest, I think they just didn't have it ready since it was supposed to be done within 2 hours and when I called 18 hours later they said they hadn't started it but would - I've since been informed by management that the "store employees don't like people who order online because they don't make commission on it and it takes away inventory that they can make money on." Well there you go folks - money over service! Thank you, Robert, you have prompted my first ever negative review & it's about a company I have worked for, loved, and been a customer of since they were Bell Atlantic. I'll be sure to spread the word about this experience because this guy is a real problem, not a problem-solver. My phone number is the primary phone number on the account, my name is on the account managers list, it's the user ID on the account, my birthday is the pin, I had the credit card with my name on it that had been used to purchase the order, my photo ID, and all because Robert didn't see my name on the one single screen he looked at, he took his own insecurities out on me. So glad to be out of that store and away from that kid. Let me tell you all about my Verizon experience, yesterday I ordered phones online. I had decided because my service was already pretty crappy with T-mobile and I had spent all this time trying to get better coverage Id come on over. I ordered the phones paid for overnight shipping and waited. I checked the order status but never got an update. I spoke to an online rep and was told that because I didn't place the order earlier that my phones weren't shipped. I was then told that if I just went to a Verizon store id be able to cancel the online order and get my phones with my same credit approval. Yay for being young,black and you know working on life. I went into a store in Aurora, CO off Abliene and Mississippi I first ran into an extremely rude rep named Alex. Alex pulled my order number and went to the back came back and said "I cant help you, I don't know whats going on you should call customer service" I called customer service and after being transferred to nine different departments, I finally get a rep who got me to the "customer protection" department. I verified your three credit questions and was sent on my way. I had already been through a lot so I thought verification was important, so I called customer service and verified everything was good and I could return to the store, good thing I did because it was far from okay. I got a hold of another rep who said the young lady helping me in your customer protection department forgot a part of the verification and they needed additional information. I provided that and proceeded back to the store hoping to get new phones today. I got to the store and was helped by Chet, he ran my credit once again came back with the phones and a box full of accessories. I picked the accessories I liked, he rang it all up and though my phones were on a credit approved no deposit my accessories came to 200.00. I declined the accessories, I had already seen a case I liked on amazon and it was only 14.99 so I was okay. Chet packed all the things he showed my back up said he was going to talk to his boss and be back. I asked why? I said was I not allowed to decline 200.00 worth of accessories he said I can give you the discount you get with your employer, I still declined. He left, came back shortly without the phones and said our fraud department will be contacting you. VERIZON ACCUSED ME OF FRAUD because Im young, black, credit approved and refused to waste 200.00 on accessories. I HAVE NEVER in my life been treated in such a manner, I mean he refused me service and accused me of fraud because I refused accessories and because I was credit approved I should have had and wanted to spend 200.00 additional dollars. Today I got accused of fraud for being frugal I wonder how often that happens when you are white. read more

I went to upgrade my phones. The guy who helped me let me know of a promotion. Before my bill was $365. He let me know with the promotion and change of plan my new total will be around $300 give or take $10. He said the next two billing cycles would be higher but would be the price he quoted me after. I asked for a paper with the prices he quoted me. He said we cannot give you a paper quote but he did the math and it made sense with the promo and plan change. After three months my bill is $395 that's 25% higher than he quoted me. So I went back and spoke to the manager on a Monday. I was there for 2 without a resolution. He assured me he would call me on Wednesday to resolve the problem. I did not hear from him so the next week I stopped by to discuss my bill. After 2 hours the manager and the business manager tried to have me lower my plan to get my price down rather than honor the price quoted me and said they cannot do anything for me. Be very cautious of the prices they give you. While I was there I heard the same things going on. Employees that were promising prices without anything to hold them accountable. My husband and I went to purchase him another iPhone. Once we entered it took about 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged or greeted. Finally, after we were greeted we were asked for our phone numbers & told that we were next in line. After about ten minutes, still with no assistance, another customer walked in. The manager that was on duty greeted him right away and even took his payment. Again, after that customer left we still weren't attended too. Another customer walks in, she was greeted right away, and her phone number was taken, and she walked out and came back a few minutes later. All the while, we were still unattended too while the manager was on his tablet and didn't have a customer. As he looked out the window doing absolutely nothing. Leaving us standing around while he helped everyone around us. Seriously, this was the worst Verizon that I have been too. We don't even live on this side of town, however we are military so this location was closest to us at the time near the base. I'm not sure how they are operating treating customers this way, however we have no problem taking our business elsewhere. read more
