The description was accurate, the price okay and I scheduled for 22 Oct @ 9AM. On Friday the 16th I had an unintelligible phone message, the only word I could understand was "grout". On Monday morning I called their office to see what the message was about. After being put on hole for 4-5 minutes the girl responded she didn't have any information and I offered "maybe it was to see if I had the tiles, which I do". She said "great, we'll see you on Thursday the 22nd". I cleaned everything off the new countertop and eagerly waited for their tile installer to arrive. Nine o'clock went by, 9:30, 10:00, and at 10:30 I called to see what was happening. The girl (same one) again put me on hold and when she returned said "You are scheduled for Friday, the 23rd and Saturday. My immediate response was "NO! It's today and tomorrow and I'm looking at the confirmation". Her response was "well we sent a text message this morning." I immediately responded "No you didn't! I'm looking at my emails right now and you sent no message to me!" Then she put me on hold again. This time it was "we can only get you on Friday and Saturday", which is when I blew my top. "I have other plans on Saturday, I'm not going to be home then. You confirmed the dates on Monday, the same as the quote and I don't have any choice but to cancel. I needed this done today!" Her response? "If you want to cancel please let us know this afternoon". And that was that. She just told me two lies and now my blood is boiling. I called another tile installer (5 stars) and they came out immediately, gave the same quote within a few dollars, but couldn't get to me until the following week. After thinking for a while I called my Saturday meeting and canceled. I called Grout Medic back and said I'd go ahead "but your man better be here on time!" Today is Friday the 23rd. Nine o'clock went by, 9:20, 9:30, 9:45. At that very minute their installer pulled up in front but sat in the cab talking on the phone. And sat there. Finally, at 9:50 I called Grout and said "Cancel the appointment." She asked if the installer was there. "He pulled up at exactly 9:45 but he's outside sitting in his truck. I'm fed up with you people and I don't want to work with you. Just cancel". She didn't hesitate "Okay, you're cancelled". What really xxxxx's me off is that I'm in the process of remodeling my home and I have another four tile jobs to get done in the next three months. My experience with Grout Medic (do they do tile work or only grout?) has been a miserable failure. The company is unreliable, unprofessional and worse, they'll lie to your face just to cover their mistakes. I wouldn't recommend this company for ANY work!

I did not have the time or skill to complete it as well as they did. The brick behind it was super wavy, bumpy and not level, but the new tile is perfect! Also, they gave us design direction which made it more centered and much better than the design we originally wanted. Thank you! We love our fireplace now!

We were so impressed that we had the company re-grout our kitchen floor and front entry hallway, which turned out to be a night and day difference. They matched up a great color for our grout and it turned out looking brand new. They repaired a large portion of our kitchen grout, which was cracked and missing. I would highly highly recommend. One other thing...be careful when reading reviews. There are many different Grout Medic franchises. Some of the reviews are for other franchises. I read one that said they don't do tile repair which isn't true. We had tile repair and cleaning done. Our shower looks phenomenal. Bruce did more than we even expected. So any negative reviews for Bruce and Andrea's franchise would surprise me. They are too good.

Instead of cleaning it themselves, they secretly outsourced it to another company I had specifically avoided. For nearly two weeks, I had no idea where my rug even was. When I picked it up, no one mentioned any issues -- but at home, I unrolled it to find a large bald spot stripped of pile. The "before" photos they eventually provided showed normal wear, nothing close to the damage it has now. Worse than the damage was the dishonesty. My refund requests were ignored, and instead they pressured me to let them "fix" it by dyeing it darker. It took him DAYS to send me the before photos. They even called from multiple numbers trying to come to my house after I refused. This experience was unprofessional and shady. I trusted them with something valuable and sentimental, and that trust is gone. Don't make the same mistake I did.
