Specialties
Firearms training for women that goes beyond just pressing the trigger. I take you straight to the range and get you hands-on with your gun immediately, using a “learn by doing” approach. I keep class sizes small (1-3 people) so that I can create and maintain a controlled, safe environment and provide highly individualized attention. We’ll break down complex ideas into bite size chunks, take incremental, active steps to develop skills, then practice with dry and live fire drills that begin simple and increase in complexity as you develop. Training objectives are tied to real-world responsibilities and focus on visual discipline and managing input for fast target acquisition and accuracy at speed. Engaging with the training through the contextualized application of skills and repetition of properly executed techniques will help you assimilate critical safety concepts, gun handling and shooting fundamentals — naturally and efficiently. It promotes problem-solving and self-direction, accelerating your development. You’ll gain concrete experience shooting your pistol, assessing your target, identifying gaps in your skill, and then adapting your shooting to correct mistakes. This experiential approach to learning is one of the fastest, most effective ways to dissipate fear, develop discipline, acquire skill, and build real confidence — confidence based on competently and consistently performing skills to recognized standards and competitive benchmarks.
History
Established in 2022.
Often, the training bar is set lower for women to accommodate differences in strength, size and mental discipline. The result: a pat on the back for learning to load a gun and press the trigger once, with a hope and a prayer that it hits the paper. This isn't training. I apply real world experience and skill that will help you learn to shoot with confidence and proficiency. The reality is, you won’t be safe or confident with a gun if you lack proficiency. Good training sets high performance standards that go beyond just pressing the trigger. In my classes, you’ll be exposed to what good shooting should look like and benchmarks to measure performance under pressure.
