Wow! Did we get lucky? She is fantastic! Does beautiful work, takes her time, super clean and just a real nice person too. She really listened when I was describing what I wanted and let me add and tweak my design even right up to putting on the stencil. I got a jewel toned dragonfly on my lower forearm and my hubs got an american flag on his inside forearm. I'm part of a local moms group on Facebook, and when the question is always posed for a good piercer in town, everyone always raves about Karissa at Avenue tattoo and how awesome and good she is at piercing!!! So I knew that's who I wanted to go to!! I've been toying with the idea for months but keep chickening out. But yesterday, I decided on a whim to go there so I just walked in. She was busy at the moment doing another piercing but the front desk girl was able get me in an hour later so I just went to target and shopped around while I was waiting. I was super nervous and anxious about it but she was so kind, calm and welcoming. She's also just a super cool person and easy to talk to, so it was a good distraction while she was getting everything ready. She was very gentle , clean and thorough. Explaining the process and everything she was doing as she was doing it. Her calm, welcoming personality really helped my anxiousness and ease my mind. She did the piercing and it was SO quick, barely hurt!! She put the jewelry in and I was done. She explained the healing and care process very thoroughly. The whole process from walking in, to paying and leaving, was 15mins tops!!! Prices are very reasonable! Basic jewelry was included with price but I paid a little extra for a gem. I'll go back in 2 months to see how it looks/if it's healing good and change the length of the bar if needed. I highly recommend Karissa to anyone who wants a piercing!!! she also does younger kiddos ears too!! I'd totally take my young daughter to her in a heartbeat if she wanted her ears pierced!!! We arrived in this super low key spot in Sebastopol. I immediately was drawn to the aesthetics inside. Jess was welcoming and really nice. Jess covered the procedure and aftercare in detail. We picked out jewelry. They have a bunch of options. We wanted gold. I went with a cute piece from this brand Juniper that's made in Canada that composed of a cluster with opal and CZ for my double helix. Every purchase they plant a juniper. Loved that. From this visit, I found out that an orbital consists of two piercings and decided to go with one. It's all I could take. My girlfriend chose hers, super cute crescent moon for her conch. Within 30 mins we were off and ready to go. Jess sent us home with saline sprays. Unfortunately, my ear ended up swelling and it was super painful for a couple days. I contacted Jess and she changed my post to give more room. No infection, my ear is back to normal. Super grateful Jess was able to see me. Whatever you do, don't touch your piercing and be careful of snagging. An irritated piercing isn't necessarily an infected one. I'm looking forward to getting more piercings! Jess is someone to trust in getting one done with care and comfort. Super happy and more than satisfied we came here.

I told him what I was looking to get and where I wanted my tattoo located. He asked questions and after that found the artist best for what I was looking for. Being I wanted black and gray he suggested Som. Set up an appointment for like a week out and asked if I'd drop of a deposit. Finally came the day to get my tattoo, I met with Som and we went over my tattoo I let him know it was for my sister, and he came up with a bad ass design and her nick name. Som is a super cool dude and even with a guy with anxiety put me at ease and we chopped it up during the tattoo. The rest of the staff were super friendly as well. Once Som was done I was blown away by his work, even a day later I keep looking at his work and and super happy. I have plenty of tattoos on me, and Soms work stands out. I showed my sister and she definitely wants to come in when she's in town. I will definitely be back, the rest of the staff was friendly as well, everyone at least said hi as I walked by.
