I told him what I was looking to get and where I wanted my tattoo located. He asked questions and after that found the artist best for what I was looking for. Being I wanted black and gray he suggested Som. Set up an appointment for like a week out and asked if I'd drop of a deposit. Finally came the day to get my tattoo, I met with Som and we went over my tattoo I let him know it was for my sister, and he came up with a bad ass design and her nick name. Som is a super cool dude and even with a guy with anxiety put me at ease and we chopped it up during the tattoo. The rest of the staff were super friendly as well. Once Som was done I was blown away by his work, even a day later I keep looking at his work and and super happy. I have plenty of tattoos on me, and Soms work stands out. I showed my sister and she definitely wants to come in when she's in town. I will definitely be back, the rest of the staff was friendly as well, everyone at least said hi as I walked by.

But it's been over 10 years since I've had a piercing and I was really anxious about it. I'm part of a local moms group on Facebook, and when the question is always posed for a good piercer in town, everyone always raves about Karissa at Avenue tattoo and how awesome and good she is at piercing!!! So I knew that's who I wanted to go to!! I've been toying with the idea for months but keep chickening out. But yesterday, I decided on a whim to go there so I just walked in. She was busy at the moment doing another piercing but the front desk girl was able get me in an hour later so I just went to target and shopped around while I was waiting. I was super nervous and anxious about it but she was so kind, calm and welcoming. She's also just a super cool person and easy to talk to, so it was a good distraction while she was getting everything ready. She was very gentle , clean and thorough. Explaining the process and everything she was doing as she was doing it. Her calm, welcoming personality really helped my anxiousness and ease my mind. She did the piercing and it was SO quick, barely hurt!! She put the jewelry in and I was done. She explained the healing and care process very thoroughly. The whole process from walking in, to paying and leaving, was 15mins tops!!! Prices are very reasonable! Basic jewelry was included with price but I paid a little extra for a gem. I'll go back in 2 months to see how it looks/if it's healing good and change the length of the bar if needed. I highly recommend Karissa to anyone who wants a piercing!!! she also does younger kiddos ears too!! I'd totally take my young daughter to her in a heartbeat if she wanted her ears pierced!!! Karissa did the piercing. It was almost painless! She was friendly, assuring me each step of the way. I'll go back to her in a couple of months to have the piercing stud removed, and my own earring put in this process makes healing easier and safer. I'm already thinking of other piercings! Freyja answered all of my questions and quoted me the best price in town, so I made an appointment with her. When I came in, she was super friendly and professional. She did an incredible job with my piercing and to top it off, when (by my own mistake) I lost my stud she replaced it for me and put it in so my hole wouldn't close up. Only charging me for the replacement jewelry and not her time. Top class if you ask me. I was so pleased with my experience that I sent my kids mother there when she asked me where a good place to get new piercings was. Freyja, again did amazing work and my EX left with the same great experience I had. I would highly recommend The Dungeon/Freyja to anyone in the area looking for a professional, courteous and clean piercer.

IT IS OFF. worker was rude, ignored me, was very upset i even asked for help, then tore the tissue of of my lip piercings improperly shoving plastic retainers in. i inquired about the bar being really short and i was brushed off. DO NOT GET PIERCED OR JEWELRY CHANGES HERE. when i went to my normal piercer the next day it was so swollen she was barely able to get the retainer off. i was told the worker at the dungeon had essentially torn through my lip piercings with blunt plastic. hurt more than the piercings.
