A girlfriend and I decided we wanted to get piercings so went on a hunt all over North Bay. Found this little gem Matchless and got ahold of Jess who does the piercings. We arrived in this super low key spot in Sebastopol. I immediately was drawn to the aesthetics inside. Jess was welcoming and really nice. Jess covered the procedure and aftercare in detail. We picked out jewelry. They have a bunch of options. We wanted gold. I went with a cute piece from this brand Juniper that's made in Canada that composed of a cluster with opal and CZ for my double helix. Every purchase they plant a juniper. Loved that. From this visit, I found out that an orbital consists of two piercings and decided to go with one. It's all I could take. My girlfriend chose hers, super cute crescent moon for her conch. Within 30 mins we were off and ready to go. Jess sent us home with saline sprays. Unfortunately, my ear ended up swelling and it was super painful for a couple days. I contacted Jess and she changed my post to give more room. No infection, my ear is back to normal. Super grateful Jess was able to see me. Whatever you do, don't touch your piercing and be careful of snagging. An irritated piercing isn't necessarily an infected one. I'm looking forward to getting more piercings! Summer is amazing! This is a small shop, and the artists are super focused on their clients. You can tell they that they care about making people happy and providing a positive experience. I got my ear lobes pierced when I was a kid and they were uneven. I've wanted a second piercing for a long time, but hesitant because of the previous screwup. Summer took her time, made sure everything was lined-up/spaced correctly and was very professional. She explained everything in detail and was very diligent about a sterile piercing process. I've been back twice to switch them while they heal (trying different colors) and both times where as good as the first. She knows what she is doing, dedicated to quality/cleanliness and just an extremely nice person. If I do more piercings, definitely going back to her. read more

Drove from Rohnert Park, when we arrived (after calling and getting no response besides the message on the phone saying they were open till 7 and just busy.) the shop was closed and had a posted sign that said they closed at 6 but I called before 6 and got no answer. a simple "hey were closing early" on the phone would have saved a drive if they were still open like the sign, voicemail, and website say they were. I know piercing shops and tattoo parlors have flexible hours due to the artistic lifestyle most in the industry lead but this was unprofessional and disappointing. read more

Great shop! I've had my septum done 3 times previously and had been thinking of getting it done again; I work less than a block away so I decided to check this place out. Summer is just tooo great, honestly phenomenal. She was full of insight and information, and was super personable as well. I am used to shops that want to get people in and out as fast as possible--a nostril and navel assembly line, if you will. But at Matchless, Summer took her time to make sure that her work was fully sterile and top quality. And on too of all that, she checked out my nose and recommended re-stretching my existing piercing rather than re-piercing it--a much less invasive and a much less expensive option.
