Staff members around the facilitie,s along with the cleanliness of the pool locker rooms, were great. The only downside we had was that we picked up the smell of sewage due to all the recent rains we had, so I believe that had a lot to contribute to it. It was only when the wind would blow strongly but I think after 15 mins we were used to it. Other than that, navigating into the venue was straightforward... however, there's one intersection that could use a stop sign to help alleviate backup coming from the venue trying to get out. We were stuck in that for a while with cars lined up making a left & other cars turning right at our intersection.

I really enjoy her classes as she doesn't make you feel out of place if you are newer to yoga. She is very welcoming and encourages do whatever movements or positions that feel best for you. As for the classes with the vibration plates, I think its weird at first but after you take a few classes they are great. Sometimes the vibration was a bit much so I just stepped off the plate...no big deal. I LOVE that they offer late night classes and 20 minute sessions. Sometimes I don't have time for a full hour class or cant make it until after 7. The only negative (for me) is the cost but otherwise no complaints!

Every once in awhile, I would injure my shoulder, or tweak my back or something that would put me out of commission for a few weeks. No big deal until the back injuries started getting worse each time and the treatments stopped working. I had back surgery in May of 2017 due to herniated discs. I have treated the pain multiple ways, from chiropractors, massage, trigger point injections...you name it, I've tried it. It wasn't until I decided to make yoga a part of my daily life, that I saw the change that I have always been looking for. On New Year's 2018, I decided to start a 30 day challenge to see how my back would respond. I didn't stop there. Officially, I clocked more than 300 hours in 2018 at this amazing place. My life is FOREVER changed. 2018 was the first year in 5 years that I haven't spent at least 2-4 weeks bedridden, and have not used my cane even ONCE! Yoga in itself has been life changing, but this place is the reason I keep going. I've tried yoga at numerous locations, and have yet to find teachers and other students with as much love and care for each other as Sumits Chandler. We push each other, learn from one another, celebrate accomplishments, and coach areas for improvement. The support has been incredible. There have been a few times where something isn't working correctly, like the sound or humidity. I have found myself questioning if I could do the same workout while missing these key elements. The attitude of the instructors got me through each and every time. They are so willing to keep a positive attitude and work through different challenges, it inspires you to keep going. To all of you at Sumits, I thank you for healing me, and look forward to the continued challenges you send my way. Namaste.

The studio itself is insanely cozy and kept at a nice temperature so that you get warmed up quickly without breaking right into a sweat. That comes a few minutes later. I've now practice with 3 yogis there and every single one of them is incredible at what they do. They are very knowledgeable and know exactly what to do when it comes to coming over and helping you move into a pose or use props to go deeper into poses or stretches. In the week I've been going, I've already learned a whole lot more than I did at my local gym. I can already see more progress. The restorative yoga is especially amazing because of all the props that are available. I never thought it would be my thing, but Ignite has done an amazing job at making a place for everyone of all levels and wants. My favorite part of all is the use of the essential oils at the end of each practice while we are all laying in savasana. The oils are actually made by Eva's (the owners) mom locally. They smell fantastic and really make me sink that much deeper into my relaxation. Their tea bar also has some very delicious local teas as well as some locally made wares. Definitely check it out before or after your practice. Ignite has my vote!
