I spoke with an employee, clearly told him I wanted to cancel, and was told I was good to go. Now, four months later, Equinox is claiming there is no cancellation request on file and telling me I owe four months of membership fees. Convenient. This also isn't an isolated issue. The BBB has numerous recent complaints involving Equinox and cancellation problems, continued billing, and customers being sent through unnecessary hoops just to cancel. A luxury gym with a premium price should have premium customer service. Instead, this feels like a deliberate game of "you can join easily, but good luck getting out." Document everything if you're a member. I would not recommend Equinox Tysons Corner.
