I had a terrible experience here yesterday. I walked-in for a pedicure. It was my birthday so I wanted to treat myself. The only thing I was asked was "you want gel" which I replied "yes". The lady helping me started giving me the service except she did not give me a menu or a list of prices -nothing. I was hoping to get some sort of scrub or paraffin wax. Nope. Nothing. When she was cutting my nails she went too far and cut me. While she was doing so I said "ow ow ow" while she just kept going!! Now as a semi-shy woman I just hoped it would end soon... I didn't get a scrub or a callous remover. Which I was hoping for. So honestly this place is a scrub. Was honestly a waste of time and money!!! 50$ for a gel pedicure that ended up getting my toe an infection and I still have calluses!!! Now I have to go to the urgent care and get antibiotics for this infection because I can't walk without it hurting. ( pic will be included) I WOULD LIKE A REFUND. This place isn't great and I do not recommend going here. BEWARE!! I've tried calling them and it goes straight to voicemail. Very unfortunate that I came here. read more

I came in on a rainy day so I wasn't surprised to see nobody in the place. It was clean, and there was one person working. It was a relaxing experience because of how quiet and dead the place was. I got a gel pedicure which cost $50 with tip. It seemed a little pricier than I expected but it's hard to know in this inflation. The lady who was doing my pedicure was pretty rough and my left pinky toe was hurting forma few days after the pedicure. For the price, I think I prefer going somewhere else. read more

I read mixed reviews, but this nail salon is in my neighborhood and was ready for me to come on down and the price was right. I got a spa pedicure. Something I ESPECIALLY loved is that the nail technician did not start clipping my big toenail off the bat. She understood the assignment and filed and shaped it well. I haven't had a pedicure in a while so my cuticles were taking over down there and she handled it all. I paid $5 extra for the callus and removal and she even explained things to me and recommended products/services for the future based on my personal, quirky likes/dislikes regarding my nails. I didn't feel upsold, I felt educated. Otherwise not too chatty which was nice.. she did an amazing job on my plain white pedicure and I've been wearing sandals for the last 3 days straight because my feet are looking cute!! read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I went in to get a gel fill and repair to a broken nail. After getting bounced from one girl to the other, The second girl that was doing my nails decided halfway through filing and chipping away at all gel that I needed a full set. She told me how long it would take I told her I didn't have that much time and just needed to fill today. She kept insisting I need a full set and told me to come back. I let her know I do not wanna come back I need my nails done now I cannot leave with my nails half chipped away and filed. She insisted I come back and it would be better. So I left with my nails torn apart and in an awful condition. read more

I now see online pricing doesn't match (it's less ) place was empty not loud or busy. Someone's very young family member?? (She was affectionate & protective of him) was running around the whole time.. urinated INTO the vacant pedi bath tub (they didn't immediately clean it) 35$ pedi no gel polish, 5$ gel removal -not painful but uncomfy filing& 10$tip and then He bumped into my butt as I was paying so I turned to him & apologized to him but as I turned away I felt both little hands on my butt & then down my thighs he followed me almost out the door. First time I came here and never going back! I thought it looked nice because I drove by and they had their whole set up with fans outside and it seemed nice to get my nails done somewhere new since my usual spot is closed. I was told to put on a glove when I came into pick a color. They took my temperature. I'll give them that- making you feel safe when it comes to COVID. I got a fill with gel. Did French since I couldn't pick a color. I asked for ballerina shape but I got more of a coffin shape. I asked for high smiley line but still with the white thick, instead she totally ignored that and it's barely rounded. Didn't care for my nails too much but hey at least they were done, right? They make you get cash out of the atm that charges you a $2 fee but they refund you the $2 right away so that was nice but they could've let me know before. I could've easily gone to the bank. Idk it was just weird but whatever. 3 days later and my index finger already BROKE. I called to ask what their policy is on that. Most nail salons give you a window from several days to a week to get it fixed but the lady who I spoke with said they only do it for 1-2 days with a receipt. Maybe for regular polish I would understand but for GEL? Really? Only 1-2 days??? It shouldn't break at all if they cared about the quality. They clearly don't care at all. How upsetting. Confused on some of the bad reviews because I have always had a seamless and friendly experience with the ladies. I enjoy the quiet atmosphere and the one on one care. I once had to bring my infant and the women were so kind and loving to her which I appreciate as I was anxious bringing her in... but mama needed those nails done asap! So excited about the new ownership of this Nail and lash salon!!! I've know the owner Tutu for over 8 years. She's done my lashes and nails. Her attention to detail is incredible as you can see in the photos of my nails. I drive 30 minutes to visit this salon and it's always worth it. Tutu's professionalism and hospitality will keep you coming back. Not only is she amazing at what she does, she will win you over with her kindness and humor. Also, I workout for a living and it takes a lot to get a good pedicure. She always does a great job making my feet feel fresh and brand new. I recommend this salon to all of my friends and family! Went in for a fill. I told the lady I wanted a pink powder fill. She took all my nails off and gave me a new full set. I didn't think she was going to charge me for it and really didn't understand why she did that. My nails were fine only one had popped off before I came in. She basically had to force them off. Anyway, I had gel on before but I've gotten plenty of fills where they put powder on top. I even asked her if it was extra and she didn't say anything. So she's doing my nails and I told her I wanted them super square and even showed her pictures. She started doing a coffin shape with rounded edges. I was so confused. I told her to fix it and showed her the picture again. Well she charged me for the full set although I asked for a fill. She said powder was extra after I had already asked her if it was. About 3 months late to post this review here but my first time visiting this place was a great experience. Quick message to the men: if it's ok to trim your mustache and beard, brush your teeth, comb your hair...it's ok to take care of your hands, fingers, feet, and toes too! After a long morning of father/son time, decided to take my son (4) with me to get a pedicure. Naturally he was very curious and wanted to be included. The woman who greeted me was very friendly and let him soak his feet with me and get a "Pedi" as well. She took great care and patience working with him. She even let him pick a color for his nails. It almost made me forget she did a great job with me as well! Decided on upgrading to a foot and leg massage as well. Basically paid just for myself but got attention above and beyond for both of us. Great experience. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to return in the future. read more

This place felt gloomy I was the only one there for 2 hours for a full set and pedi. They did both separately which I'm not use to and that is why it took so long. The nail tech wanted to give me some Cardi B length nails which I had to keep telling her shorter because I work with my hands for a living. A week later my toenail polish turned brown on some toes which was not normal. The good things is my nails have lasted over a month and the price was good. I just moved to the area and thought I would see if they were going to be my new nail spot. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but this time I feel compelled. I walked in with my daughter. I asked for the $35 European Spa Pedi and just a Polish only for my young daughter. Took all of two min to paint my daughters nails. This lady was rough with me and honestly nothing about it was enjoyable. I'm usually very tolerable, but after my 4th toe started to bleed and actually really hurt and she said absolutely nothing, I said please stop you're hurting me. She just grabbed a towel and roughly starts wiping blood away. I said stop that hurts. The few (In shop) pics I captured was prior to all 4 toes bleeding. I was trying to be discreet. She finally has me soak my feet in the water and then (without announcing) sprays my feet down with alcohol (ouch)!!! The upgraded pedicure I bought is supposed to be a 10 min massage. It was no where near 10 min, but at this point I wanted the hell out! And lastly, just for fun, the lady decides to touch my big toe to see if it's dry and of course messes it up....just get me out. The bill comes and is $46. So $11 to paint my daughters nails for 2 min and $35 to be left a bleeding mess with screwed up nails. I tried to explain to her why I wasn't tipping, but she acted like she didn't understand and then tried to make me think all this was normal. read more

In my humble opinion this is the best place to get nails and a pedicure. I have visited this place four times before giving a review. My nails always last a full month with no issues. They use plastic liners for the pedicure tub. They are not chatty. If you like to chat this might not be the place for you. If you can overlook that then you could be highly satisfied with their work. read more

Amazing experience. Visiting friends in the area in a rainy weekend and decided to get a mani pedi. This place came highly recommended and so glad we found it! The salon is on the small side but cozy and relaxing. We were welcomed right away and the attention to detail was excellent. I saw a new nail salon in La Mesa and decided to give it a try because I like seeing new businesses in the community. At first glance I was extremely pleased with the layout and the owner was very friendly. There was also a deal that if you came in for a mani pedi three times, you get your own manicure kit. As a mini germaphobe, I was down for it. Came in this morning for my pedicure, just a pedicure because after how rough he was with my feet I didn't want anyone touching my hands. My feet are still burning and my legs feel extremely scratched up from having sea salt rubbed on my dry legs. I'm glad other people have had positive experiences here, but I will absolutely not be back. I'll pay the extra money and go to my regular salon. read more

Once you visit 3 times you become a member and receive your own personal pedicure kit. Such a nice touch. Tina gave the best pedicure I have had in a long time.
