Just what we needed after a long day. We made this our last stop after a day of visiting vineyards. The cheesecake was amazing and my husband had the signature brownie and he said that it was warm and tastes like it had just come out of the oven. I also had the alfagatto. One of the people with us had the hot chocolate with toasted marshmallow and she said it was really good. The service was good. They were really busy and I think there may have been only one or two people working that side and they were running. Can't wait to go back again
I am completely obsessed with this spot and want to visit it every time I am in town. Not only is it adorable but it always smells incredible inside and the service is friendly. I love the wine list and, last time I was in, I tried several small plates and everything was impeccable. They have great wines for all my fellow wine-os but their espresso martinis are also divine!
My first visit to this establishment, I did not venture (no pun intended!) beyond the front counter but had a pleasant experience there. Hip/boho atmosphere, various sweets and pastries on display and a drink menu featuring items you don't see every day, such as sipping chocolate, cacao cold brew, spiced cocoa tea latte. I was intrigued by the Matcha Rose Oat Latte so I ordered that for myself and a Housemade Chai for my husband. We both enjoyed them and appreciated being able to purchase a hot drink on a very cold day! We visit Boone fairly regularly and I look forward to exploring more new tastes when we return.
WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. I wanna give this place MORE than just 5 stars. 10/10 recommend. The wine and food part of the store is downstairs and has a wonderful atmosphere. Very chic and modern. The server was utterly delightful and super helpful. Now let's talk food - the Parmesan twists were the star of the show for me. Amazingly flakey puff pastry seasoned with Parmesan, garlic and Italian seasonings. A lighter, more seasoned version of any bread stick I've ever had. I could eat them everyday. The cheese plate offered an assortment with cheese paired with fig jam, honeycomb and rosemary. The burrata was outstanding. Paired with fresh tomatoes and bread. Drizzled with the balsamic, it was the best pairing of the night. Last but not the least was the Brie cheese crostini's with grilled grapes. The flavor was out of this world and unlike anything I've had anywhere else. To drink, I ordered the raspberry lemon spritz. It's the perfect summer drink and super pretty at that. I loved it!
The fruit and cheese board was very tasty. I wish there had been more strawberries for the price. I loved the pimento cheese. The server made a great suggestion of the Riesling which was the perfect sweet wine. The music and seating made a great environment.
Sooo good. The coffee was awesome, chocolate was superb- very cool place! I would recommend everything
A perfect pairing! Chocolate, coffee, and wine all in one spot. We sat downstairs where the wine was. A peaceful room with tables plus seats at the bar. The upstairs has a showcase of chocolate and coffee is available. The wine room had walls of wine you could choose from for purchase or simply take to your table and the Staff would open. We ordered a dessert as well to try. Delicious. The Staff is super friendly and helpful.
My husband surprised me with flowers and Chocolate during our stay at Greystone Lodge during our stay for land of Oz. The chocolate was so good we stopped on our way home and got some more to snack on the way home! AMAZING chocolate! We tried a few different kinds as you can see and my favorite is the milk chocolate. It was absolutely divine!
Amazing spot in downtown! I walked past here while looking for a place to have dinner and couldn't resist stopping in first. I left with a cheesecake brownie truffle and a chocolate thin. I saved them for after dinner, but they were both delicious. I actually returned the next day to get another cheesecake brownie truffle but they didnt have it then! :( I ended up getting a couple other specialty truffles (champagne, etc) and a biscotti sampler - perfect portion for a small, sweet snack. Staff was very friendly both times. And this place itself is just a gem - there's a super cozy downstairs area that serves wine and charcuterie, lots of great nooks for hanging out, reading, catching up with friends etc. I will definitely come here again next time I am in Boone!
Saw on Yelp and decided to check it out. You enter upstairs to a chocolate counter and coffee bar. No greeting and hard to tell what they actually served. We wandered downstairs where they apparently serve wine and whisky only, along with some small plates. No greeting there either and overall was very awkward to be seated. Ordered the flourless torte which was excellent, the bon bons were decent and the irish coffee was, well, Irish coffee. Ambiance was dark and rather sterile, not comfortable downstairs. Upstairs was a lot of white. Didn't really feel this place, I think it could be a lot better in terms of service and overall vibe... and why not serve espresso martinis??
Wow. What a great spot for a date night, meetup, chill night, meeting, work party. You name it. This place would be a great spot to come to for most ideas you can think of. It has 2 cozy, clean stories with plenty of cozy pockets to unwind and relax with a glass of wine, craft chocolate, coffee, tea, etc. There's so many possibilities and I wish I lived closer and had a babysitter here when we discovered this spot because it would be a perfect date night spot. Ugh. I could see us spending like 4 hours just chilling, enjoying their freshly made charcuteries boards, wine glasses and the works in the cozy cave/cabin/modern chicly decorated spot. Anyway- it's a must check out spot when visiting the town of Boone. We got the box of chocolates to sample most of their amazing options and even a bar to go as a gift/ Great selection from cava wine chocolate to port wine chocolate, chamomile chocolate, mint, dark, milk, raspberry, passion fruit, coconut rum... the list goes on! Dine in or take out. Next time I'll get better pics, my toddler was loving running around this place so I was busy chasing him. Oh. And it appears soooooo new/ the bathrooms are in pristine shape and even have relaxing decorations!
Stopped in for a girls night out and had the best time! The house wines are fantastic and we tried both the chocolate board and crème brûlée. The chocolate board was delicious and had a good variety of options. All were fantastic! The only disappointment was that there was a cup of melted chocolate but hardly anything that wasn't already chocolate to dip in it. I would have loved a small shortbread, pretzels, or fruit to round it out. My group enjoyed the crème brûlée as well. I will definitely be back! Beautiful, quiet atmosphere perfect to enjoy with friends or for a date night.
What a little gem! I was in town for my boyfriend birthday weekend and we stumbled across this place because I saw alcohol and chocolates and I was sold. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into and I'm sooo glad I convinced him to come in and do this experience. The chocolates were sooo good and they had a huge list of wines, bourbon, whiskeys and scotch. The ambiance was very nice and being in a college town this was very elevated. I was worried when we planned for Boone to stay that we were gonna be swarmed by a bunch of students. My only gripe (the smallest of gripes) is that they only do pours. No cocktails or mixes. Also for the pours, if you wanted to do it on the rocks, they only had chip ice. I get how they don't want to be a cocktail bar, but seriously, get some bitters, sugar and even vermouth, you can make a variety of classic bourbon drinks and it'll still have the same high class. But, if you're unable to do that, investing in an ice maker with large cubes will do wonders. Nobody wants to have a nice scotch be watered down by cheap chip ice. Other than that- I will DEFINITELY be back with my boyfriend in the future! Go check it out if you're in town!

LOVE VENTURE! I haven't spent much time in their upstairs area where the coffee and chocolates are but I've ventured many a times to their downstairs wine bar. They have an expansive selection of wines, whiskey & bourbons, and a lovely assortment of desserts/appetizers/charcuterie. The downstairs ambiance is very cozy and swanky. I always feel like I'm in a big city war bar. The service is always great; everyone is attentive and give great wine recommendations. read more

Such a cute new store located right on King Street. The place is two stories with lots of room to sit, do work or chat with friends. You can also watch them make the chocolate on the bottom floor! The service there was great and all the people we met were super friendly. We tried two of their house-made bon-bons, the London Fog and Passion Fruit. I really liked both but my favorite was the London Fog. We also ordered their coffee. I wasn't a huge fan of the Gingerbread Latte since the ginger taste was a bit too strong for my preference, but I am definitely thinking of going back to try something different. read more

This is my favorite spot every time I'm in Boone! It's so cute and great for a night out with friends or just a chill vibe. The is such a great selection of wine and the prices are great. We stopped in on a Sunday night and there was only a few other people there. We ordered a few glasses of the house wine, crème brûlée, and the chocolate board. Everything came out so quick and was so delicious. The quality of the wine and desserts were top tier. Our server kept our glasses full the entire night! Such a great experience as always. read more

Made my way to this amazing spot in Boone. Wasn't fully open (still waiting on downstairs to be up and running) but had Ana maxing time with my wife. A variety of delicious chocolates to choose from and paired with the house wine made the experience amazing. Clean, quiet, and great staff! read more

Another wonderful experience with my family. I love seeing the same friendly and knowledgeable staff. The decor is clean simple warm modern. Honestly does not look like it's indigenous to the area. It is a wonderful stop for Valentine's, gifts and even to get a quick delicious cup of coffee and a croissant. We absolutely love this place in Boone! read more

A MUST try in Boone downtown. We stumbled upon this while walking and honestly it's a hidden gem. The space is very contemporary coffee shop with couch and chair seating. Two levels. AND there is wine tasting and menu in the evenings. Coffee and wine at the same place. The baked goods, coffee and chocolate were very good. Chocolate covered organ he and lemon and chocolate tart were our favs. Very nice staff. Overall a great experience. read more
