Left this review on Google already - but I'm more of a Yelp user so I wanted to share with this…read morecrowd: Disclaimer: The review is about only the store manager, not the staff. The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable. Very frustrated by my experience today. I lost my wallet about a month ago and a week and a half ago saw a voicemail from the Tractor Supply saying they may have found my wallet in their parking lot. I was so excited, and called to verify it was mine. I let them know I was away and would be by in about a week to pick it up. They said it would be in the office for me. Flash forward to today and I find out they threw away my wallet. I am so frustrated not just because I called them so recently to verify, but because now my cards and identification information are at risk and unprotected. When I learned they had it, I unfroze my credit/debit cards so I could continue using them online - come to find out they've actually been tossed... I'm so upset to have lost all of my cards, and the family photos I had in the wallet. Especially given my address was there, they should have given such sensitive material to the police, not the garbage can. I'm really sad that I won't be going here anymore, as the staff was always friendly to me. Going to switch to a local grain store that may be more patient in their store policies instead of throwing away people's belongings after confirming they can be picked up. Since I'm reviewing, I will also add that that incorrectly sexed the baby chicks I bought from the store. I paid extra to get female pullets but half were roosters, which change the dynamic of a flock entirely. I later learned that Tractor Supply is known among the chicken community to have higher rates of this error.

We have three blueberry bushes in our backyard and it is a constant battle to keep the birds and…read moresquirrels from getting the fruit. We've tried everything short of building a steel cage, and we are almost at that point. I thought we could mosey on over to Tractor Supply and see if they had something different for us. You walk in and immediately see the western wear, cowboy hats and boots. Yep, I can skip that section. They also sell tractor parts. I guess the name gives that away, huh? They have feed, supplies and fencing for cattle and horses. Some of the cattle fencing, which was located in a gated in section of the parking lot, may work for us, but it would be a long shot. There is a small hardware section and a yard and garden section. Neither section was extensive and you could do just as well at your local hardware or discount store. They do have a large supply of pet food. While there are people in the area that have cattle and horses, I just don't see where there is a huge demand n this area for many of the items they are selling. If I had livestock, I think I would prefer to support my local feed and grain shop. I can't see myself being a regular customer here.

A store with a large selection and exceptional staff…read more A quick look at Ken's website will confirm that they have a large and varied stock of items. Partly why I fist headed to Ken' is that they had items I could not find elsewhere or on Amazon. Ken's makes a concerted effort to stock hard to find items including canister filter parts. This is my yearly stop for "O rings" and food grade lubricant for servicing my aquarium canister filters. Ken's prices are also very competitive. I recently purchased a Fluval 407, and their Black Friday price beat Amazon and all others. The staff is another reason they excel over many online chain stores. If I go in with a problem, they give me affordable options. In one case, the staff member told me they had no fix; however, he knew where I should go for the solution. That professionalism is one reason why I drive the distance for this store. They have online sales; however, I prefer in store pickup. If I purchase at Ken's website, my purchases are always ready at the register. Ken's does not sell live pets; however, they have most everything a pet could want. This will continue to be my go to location for pet and fish supplies. Give it a try !

100% recommend United Ag & Turf in Lancaster! I was in the market for a riding mower, narrowed it…read moredown to John Deere and Husqvarna. I contacted several Husqvarna dealers stating I wanted to buy a new tractor, but never heard back. I did the same with United Ag & Turf, and Adam P. got back to me very quickly. He was extremely knowledgeable, answered every single question I had (and I had a lot of them), and most importantly, even though I was new to the riding lawn mower world, told him that, and was asking lots of "newbie" questions, he NEVER oversold me. In fact, he asked me upfront what my lawn/yard/property was like and told me the one I originally asked him about would be a bit overkill for my needs and recommended one step below it, saving me about 900 dollars. THAT is trustworthy sales right there. What's even better is the price was incredible, it came professionally built and calibrated by their in house team, and delivered on a flatbed to my driveway where it was tested before they left. It's been about 4 months now since I got it - my John Deere is literally everything I could have wanted, works flawlessly and they have been incredible after the sale too. I accidentally mowed over one of the bags when it fell out - couldn't find a replacement online. Emailed Adam, he had exactly what I needed for the OEM JD part delivered to their store for me within 4 days for less than "aftermarket" bags were going online. Lastly, in the grand scheme of some of the John Deere equipment this dealer sells, my riding lawn mower was somewhat on the lower end of things they have. But as a customer of a "mid-level" consumer riding lawn mower, I feel I'm treated every time as if I bought an 80k farm tractor from them. I dealt with Adam over email and on the phone. Also have been in store twice for things and everyone has just been truly incredible. I couldn't recommend them more...they are trustworthy, honest, always friendly, and have every possible thing you could need covered!
