Before we were going to leave, we looked for the restroom. When we found it, the entire hallway leading to it was dark and had been blocked off with room dividers and a sign saying out of order. We made a joke about it because it had the look of a closed off area, not just temporarily out of order. We were exiting the store, walking past the checkout area when an associate, a middle aged woman who had the look of being some kind of shift supervisor, basically wanted to start a confrontation with us. As we were walking past, well within proximity for us to hear her, she made a comment to a young associate that seemed to be about us joking about the restroom out of order sign. We turned to clarify what she had said and she repeated that we made some joke about the restrooms being closed. We did not engage with her and left. I went back to the vestibule area to look in to see her name tag, but I couldn't see one. Then we left. I had planned to write to Ollie's corporate but found on their website a rigid format to leave positive remarks but no interest expressed in hearing other feedback. As I tried to find a way to communicate with them, I learned that they have some very unpleasant actions against them, touching on discrimination and other unpleasantness. At that point it seemed that this kind of employee may be just the expression of their management, and I decided not to try to correspond with them. Then I came to Yelp and saw the recent review and comment about the restrooms having been closed since June of 2025. I suspected when this happened that she was particularly sensitive about the restrooms being closed. It appears that Ollie's has developed a very negative culture. I would avoid them in the future.

I got to the farm at 5:05, got in line with the other 100+ cars and waited in my truck slightly over 2 hours to get my order. It is a cash business, so you can't pay beforehand which slows down the line. If someone had forewarned me (or the other 100 cars) I could have made better arrangements to pick up the birds on "off hours." The turkey's were fantastic and expensive ($235 for 34 pounds), I just don't know if I can deal with that hectic mess again of picking them up. If the pick up situation was more organized and efficient I would absolutely be back.

It was my first time visiting and the owner was super friendly and told me a bit about the store and the items for sale. Eighty-five percent of the items are made by her or local artists. Primitive style items can be pricey, but I found most items here reasonable. It's located right near the corner of Arcade Ave and Route 44, so it can be tough pulling in and out. My home isn't decorated in primitive decor, but I'd definitely stop in if I were looking for gifts.

I've used American Deer Proofing for the last two years and really happy I choose them. They even give you extra product to spray between services. I have a large number of garden beds with daylilies, hostas, peruvian lilies and other deer favorites, planted long before we had so many deer herds in Jamestown. Recently I had an issue with more deer in the neighborhood than usual (and more rain). I emailed customer service late one night and Tom was there to re-spray the very next morning. American Deer Proofing has been spraying once per month during the summer and the difference is unbelievable. We can actually sit out on our back deck without getting eaten alive, and my dog doesn't come into the house with multiple ticks everyday! The people I've talked to were also very courteous and quick to give us a very reasonable estimate. So I highly recommend them!

We bought our bed at Leonard's - they specialize in taking antique beds and converting them to today's sizes. We got a cannonball bed - and the whole thing was customizable. We took the original posts and blanket rail and chose the finish, the headboard (ours is a rolling pin), and even the bed height. They extended the blanket rail to accommodate a queen and you cannot even see where they did it. The new headboard matches the old posts perfectly. This bed is solid, the highest quality, and the price was premium. But we loved our experience with them so much, we will be getting our bed for our summer house there. They also have top quality reproductions of bedroom and dining furniture, and offer full design services.

She was rude and unreasonable. Yes they sell nice beds, but they do not build the new beds they sell. There is nothing like putting your stamp on another companies product. They have done well because many people are willing to waste their money on high priced massed produced furniture. Their antiques may be another story. Never would I ever step into their business again. I recommend going someplace else!
