Feeling frustrated and overwhelmed I stopped into FCC by recommendation of a friend. I was pleasantly surprised by how big the show room was and by how many displays they had available for viewing and testing. The sales associates were polite and professional and showed me exactly what I needed. I didn't feel pressured and they made me feel like a valued customer. I also want to note that they offer next day delivery which was helpful since I have a hectic schedule. The gentlemen who delivered my furniture were very polite, professional, and quick. I'll definitely be visiting FCC again for any future furniture purchases.

My husband and I really liked them so I needed to go back to buy 3 more. When I went the first time, they were going through inventory and the curtains were not out on the floor. I asked an employee if there were any in the back. He said "Yeah but because of inventory we can't get them. I can't go in the back cause it'll be in a box somewhere. Come back next week." I was a bit perplexed - so you refuse to sell me curtains because of inventory? I've done inventory with stores before and I've never heard of this. Such a wasted trip. So I call the store a week and a half later to ask - the employee goes to the curtain dept to look for them. I try to give her the UPC# but she doesn't want it, she's looking via the description. She says "They're probably in the back and I'm not going back there. It's in a box somewhere. They're unloading a truck now so it'll be out soon." I ask why it says there are 5 in stock online? She says "Well it's probably 5 cause there's 5 in the truck coming to the store right now." Even though it has said there's 5 in stock for the past 2 weeks. So my question would be - how unorganized is it in the backroom that no employee wants to go back there to check merchandise?? Is it just me or is that crazy?

The inside is basically several small rooms stuffed with stuff. All kinds of antiques, linens, old signs, clothing, furniture and plenty of cool knick knacks and doo dads. Things seem to move in and out quickly so every trip is a new adventure. The folks that work here are pleasant and friendly and let you take your time and look around without bothering you. That's a good thing because there is a lot to look at even though it's all in a small area. Mundane and common things mixed in with the unusual. The last time we happened by we saw a reproduction antique sink that was exactly what we were looking for. The price ended up being substantially lower than on line catalogs we were looking at.
