Eddie came and helped move a colony out of my compost that had been present for a few months. He explained every step of the process and was happy to answer any other questions we had while working to locate the queen and get her in her box. Once that was accomplished, the remaining bees flew into the box over a span of a few hours and he was able to return to collect the entire hive and re-home them. I would highly recommend Ventura Bee Rescue! read more

Eddie at Ventura Bee Rescue really knows his stuff. He answered right away when I called and scheduled an appointment that worked perfectly for my tenants. The bees had built a hive under a shed in the corner of the property and were traveling to neighboring homes, causing stings. Eddie explained exactly what needed to be done to ensure a safe extraction. I removed the old shed afterward so the bees wouldn't be tempted to return and rebuild. I even bought some of his honey and it was delicious. He was kind, efficient, and very reasonable with his pricing for a safe live bee removal. As a property manager, I run into situations like this from time to time, and he's the only one I'll call. read more

And he does this at a reasonable cost - honestly, you would not want to do what this man does, and he does it gleefully! Thank you, Eddie. I totally recommend Eddie with Ventura Bee Rescue. I live on 7 acres of avocado and I did not want to kill the bees. Eddie came over and searched out the honey bee combs and hive from under the floor in a of a closet. He was able to remove flooring and get as much of The Hive out and re locate them in a bee box and put them out in our orchard. I was a bigger job then expected and did not charge me more money and returned to relocate. He is very smart about his job and would use him again. Thank you Eddie! read more

I had a large beehive under my shed that was so aggressive, I couldn't step outside into my backyard without the risk of getting stung. I called Eddie from Ventura Bee Rescue and he came out and gave me a very resonable quote. I couldn't be more impressed with the exceptional service provided by Eddie. He was responsive and very knowledgeable and explained the process of what a live bee removal is. We wanted to make sure the bees were safely relocated and kept alive and we were pleased to find out that he is a beekeeper that is passionate about bee conservation. We also have a small puppy and wanted to go with a service that did not spray any chemicals. Eddie's professionalism, great pricing, and commitment to customer satisfaction made it an easy choice to go with Ventura Bee Rescue for our bee removal. Eddie even took the time to talk to my kids about bees, who were excitedly watching the process from inside the house. Eduardo was amazing! He was able to come out the same day to take care of a beehive that was just starting. He is local, rescues the bees humanely and was reasonably priced. He showed myself and my grandson the queen bee and talked about bees while we were in the sunroom. I highly recommend. Will definitely call if I ever have another bee hive. read more

I really want to brag about and highly recommend Eddie from @Ventura Bee Rescue! This past Sunday morning I walked out to my driveway and found a bee swarm "tornado" on my front lawn. I searched Nextdoor and found Ventura Bee Rescue's number. Their voicemail said their hours were Monday through Friday and Saturday by appt. Eddie called me back within 5 minutes. He showed up at my house a half hour later, found the Queen Bee (not Beyonce) and set up a hive box. When I got home the swarm was gone. Eddie texted me later in the evening to let me know he'd picked up the hive and relocated them to a safe location. Absolutely phenomenal service! read more

Amazing. Super quick. They came over writhing 24 hours. They safely removed my swarm and relocated them to a farm in Somis to hopefully pollinate everyone's fruit this spring. Eddie was amazing. So knowledgeable and was happy (if not eager) to answer all of my questions about bee keeping, habits, prevention etc. I fully felt like he understood the bees and I'm super grateful for the mini masterclass he provided. I would definitely call them again and I already recommended them to a neighbor. read more
