I asked some questions about concerns we had and maintenance and the man obliged in answering but was dismissive about it. The cleaning was fairly priced so I would recommend for regular maintenance but if you're wanting good attention to detail for something that's been left for a while you might want to shop around

He then got on the roof and removed the vent grate the roofers left on, and came inside and blew out the lint obstructions to clear the vent all the way out of the roof. Eran was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to speak with; he knows a good bit about dryers too! The job took longer than expected due to my insistence that Gary could do what was needed to "do it right", which is the only way Dream Chimney works. Gary had a very busy schedule of winter chimney cleaning and worked Saturdays and some full weekends to keep our greatly expanded job moving. Yes, it took a lot longer and yes, it cost somewhat more, but I saw where my money went and Gary was in retrospect a bargain. I had expected a much higher total bill, but the overage was very reasonable and I now have a superb job and my HVAC system is in sound condition. Our home was kept spotlessly clean around all of Gary's work. I cannot recommend Dream Chimney and owner Gary too highly. God bless his insulation crew of Karla and Jose who endured very unpleasant circumstances in removing 57 year old insulation and other filth and replacing with new. Roman, the technician did a thorough evaluation and was helpful with recommendations. He suggested a new gas train assembly and said the our fireplace was set-up for a blower to improve heat flow but did not have it. After he installed the above, our family room was heated so much better than in past winters with the addition of the blower. The outs fireplace also did not light correctly & he was able to figure out the problem, fix it and advised us that we did not need a new replacement. The cold season had them booked but they sent him within a week. Regina was also helpful with our need for flexible scheduling. I would highly recommend them for fireplace problems given the prompt response, courtesy, thoroughness, clean up after work and reasonable fees.
