I asked some questions about concerns we had and maintenance and the man obliged in answering but was dismissive about it. The team was incredibly professional punctual and highly skilled. You can see from the before and after pictures of my firebox how much work they put in. The initial pictures (the completely black, sooty one and the one with the old, rusted grate) show how overdue it was for a proper cleaning. The after pictures (the one with the freshly cleaned white/tan brick new-looking mortar and the one with the cleaner grate) are a night and day difference it looks brand new! I was worried about the old cracking mortar/caulk and they handled the repair work with precision as you can see from the fresh neat-looking sealant they applied (the picture with the gray mortar/sealant). They also took care of the exterior chimney on the roof. He suggested a new gas train assembly and said the our fireplace was set-up for a blower to improve heat flow but did not have it. After he installed the above, our family room was heated so much better than in past winters with the addition of the blower. The outs fireplace also did not light correctly & he was able to figure out the problem, fix it and advised us that we did not need a new replacement. The cold season had them booked but they sent him within a week. Regina was also helpful with our need for flexible scheduling. I would highly recommend them for fireplace problems given the prompt response, courtesy, thoroughness, clean up after work and reasonable fees.
