The owners have zero customer service and refuse to take accountability for poor workmanship. I got my nails done on Saturday and by Christmas Eve 3/5 nails on my left hand were chipped on an already poorly done ombré. I went in to see if they could fix it. She filed my nails on the tip as a remedy. I was unsure that would work because I suspected the painted polish from a spongelike brush that was used for the ombré was ineffective. Typically, my ombre effect was created by having white powder sprinkled on top a light pink and I never had any problem. Nonetheless, I thanked her and I went to Sprouts. 20 minutes later, one of the same nails she filed and a new one was chipped, so I went directly back to the shop. They said they could not paint over my nails because they were S&S. However, the solution was to charge me a discount rate of $55 to redo them instead of $75. Notwithstanding, I just spent $132 less than a week ago at this salon. I asked the owner (short guy at the desk) if he thought it was acceptable that I spent $75 on S&S that did not last for a single week. I let him know this was unacceptable and that he would lose me as a customer if he did not offer a better solution. At that point, he stated that it must have been something that I did and that I could leave, "I have lots of customers and yes I want your business, but I don't need you. The nails are not guaranteed." Well then - enough said. They just lost a customer of three years. This type of customer service and the delusion that he has an infinite amount of customers will be the downfall of this place. I will go back to City Nails in Snellville! Over priced I just got a fill nothing fancy didn't cut or trim just a fill and got charged $55 and a $10 length charge for what? Then I got a partial pedicure just my feet no legs and that was over priced as well $105 for a basic fill and partial pedicure. I have never had so many cuts on my toes and fingernails that had to me managed to avoid infection for almost a week afterwards. I came here for a regular gel pedicure. The woman doing my toes took her time to make the shape perfect and everything was fine until she began digging in the sides of my big toenails and when I told her I was in pain and began bleeding she said, "I'm taking your ingrowns out". Not only should ingrowns not be taken out by a professional, but at the LEAST clean tools could've been used. There were no sterile instruments used she just pulled them out of her caddy. Tools that were probably used on the customer before me! I have never once seen this nail salon use sterile packaging and since that experience, I have had two infections in my big toes from that experience which has required lots of medicine and doctors. DO NOT GO HERE. It's disgusting that places as unsanitary as this are allowed to stay running. Save yourself the trouble, and the pain! read more

I wouldn't give this place 1 star that's how awful my experience here was. My friends mom recommended this salon for us to go to. I requested an acrylic fill in with gel and a gel pedicure. I have been getting these 2 services for over 10 years. I have never had this awful of an experience ever. The nail tech I had for my nails rushed through my fill in, cutting 3 of my fingers in the process causing me to bleed and be in pain for the rest of the application. She rushed through so quickly that each one of my nails were bumpy. I ended up not liking my color choice which I told her and apologized for wanting to change the color. She then angrily removed the color and shaved the bumpiness down and applied just a white color. Even after she "fixed" them, they were still bumpy and are not square at all, very rounded corners and you can still see the pink underneath and around the white. Not to mention my nails and fingers are still sore THE NEXT DAY. Now for my pedicure, this nail tech took her time and was good at taking care of the trimming and cutting. She did not massage my legs or feet for more than 1 minute total. However the application is awful, but I was too focused on my nails to ask her to redo my toes. She was really nice though. As for the woman who did my fingernails, she was rude when asked to correct her mistake. I felt uncomfortable speaking up about a service that I was unhappy about and paying WAY too much money for. Also $7 for "length" is ridiculous these are not super long nails and it was a fill-in not a new set. I was not pleased with my experience here and I will not be returning to this salon. I now see why it has 2.5 stars. Red flag was the cut she gave me and had the audacity to put glue on it. I came in for a "funeral" set for a death in the family and the manicurist made it very hard for me to get what I wanted. I asked for clear polish under the black tip and they tried offering me a pink tinted clear. I'm not making a fashion statement nor do I want any hues of pink for my event and they made this such a huge deal. Why is it so hard to listen to a Mexican Woman? What they didn't realize is that my roommate is Vietnamese who I was FaceTiming and got a translation of their petty comments in their language. Very childish narcissists. They lost a valued customer because of a rude, angry manager! This is a long post because I'm so sad about a situation that could have been fixed so easily with an apology and maybe a gift voucher. Henry has done my nails for over a year and does an amazing job, and my daughter just started getting her nails done too. I love everyone who did our nails, I tip well and felt I was a valued customer. Yesterday I needed just the corner of my brows tinted where they are going grey. My brows don't grow anymore so I've spent hundreds of dollars getting them micro bladed and shaped to suit my face shape and it's taken months to grow them in. I explained this to the manager, Henry and Ella - the brow tech. I asked her to dye just the corner of my brow and not to make it dark. As soon as my eyes were closed, she put dye all over my brows, not just in the corner. I panicked but she and Henry told me it would look good. When she took the dye off she started waxing between my brows. I did not ask for waxing so I immediately said 'no waxing' but she told me it was just neatening up. Again I explained my brows don't grow and that I'd had them micobladed and she must not take any hairs from under my brow. She carried on. I know you probably think I'm stupid for trusting a nail tech with brows I'd spent a fortune on and you are right. This has been a hard lesson to learn. You can see the before and after pics below. I was so shocked when I saw what she'd done to my brows because they were so dark and the shaped was now arched (not the flat brows that suits my face shape). I didn't complain right then, because I'd have cried or had a melt down in the salon. I went home and cried a lot. Then I looked objectively at the situation - hopefully within a year or so the hairs will grow back. But in the mean time, it will cost about $200 for my micro blade tech to lighten my brows to my natural color and micro blade where the hairs were waxed off to reshape my brows correctly. As I said above, I accepted that this was a painful, expensive lesson to learn - don't trust a nail tech with micro bladed brows! So today I went back to calmly talk to the manager. I explained exactly what I've listed above. All I was looking for was maybe a voucher for a free manicure or pedicure to show that they were sorry that my brows were messed up. Instead, the manager ended up yelling at me in front of a line of people in the reception area and telling me that all she could do was refund me the cost of the dye and the wax (that I'd never asked for). When I suggested a voucher for a free manicure instead, because I considered myself a good customer and I was going to have to pay to fix their mistake, she yelled again, telling me it didn't matter that I was a loyal customer and she would only refund me what I'd paid. I've never written a bad review before and I never complain, but she humiliated me in front of everyone in the salon. But most of all I feel so incredibly sad that I wasn't valued as a customer. I now have to find a new nail tech which makes the situation even worse as Henry was awesome. His manager lost him a great customer over a situation that could have been resolved with a gift voucher and a simple apology. read more

This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to. I have never paid over a hundred dollars for a gel pedicure and manicure that lasted less than a week. I got my nails done this past Sunday, and they began chipping by Wednesday. I got them done for a wedding and they didn't even make it to the wedding day. I highly recommend avoiding this place. Today I was treated like garbage by Michael because he has no earthly idea how to communicate to a loyal customer. Today on my sixth visit to this place they decided to tell me I am going to get charged extra money for the length of my nails. I quietly expressed my concern that after 6 visits this is the first time hearing of an extra charge. I wasn't rude, I wasn't fighting the cost I just wanted him to know my concern. He had no desire to talk to me. He told me I can leave if I didn't want to pay. He repeatedly said he tells everyone what the charges were. Even I could give 0 stars I would, I have been going to this salon for a few months due to my friend telling me about how good it is. For the first time I had a really nice experience the more I went and brought my friends the worse it started becoming. The last time I would ever go was what made me stop coming. I was going to get my nails and toes done for my wedding, it was a little early but I wanted to go ahead and treat myself. My wedding was a Christmas wedding so I was thinking on doing wedding nails. During the visit I brought my friend who ended up having really nice nails, but for me not so much. I started off by showing them a picture of what I was wanting, the lady doing my toes said I know exactly what color that is. I take her word for it and the lady doing my nails starts putting it on, right away I let the lady know it's to dark. It was suppose to look more red/pinkish but instead was coming out brown looking. The nail lady told me it's going to get lighter the more it "dries" I trust her since I've been coming here. Unfortunately it does now and once she had done both hands and was almost done I mention again are you sure it's going to be lighter once it dries. She once again tells me yes, once she out the first top coat on it is not at all getting lighter and was not what I showed them. She then is like "I just don't know what to do because I have already done the set" I say I'm not sure, but I had mentioned to you before this was not the color I was wanting even now that it's dry. She gets very frustrated and runs to her manager. She ends up putting a pinker coat on top, which makes the nails SUPER thick and more sloppy in my opinion. I know the mail products used are expensive but she should have told me it was not going to lighten up which later the manager tells me. She finishes the nails and they don't look good. I don't say anything cuz I'm nice and leave. I was really upset because they where for my wedding and my friend offered to pay for a new set, I say no and I go back the next day to either get a refund or have them fixed because now the design on top started to chip. When I speak to the manager about it they get all defensive and refuse to do a refund and only fix the "chip" that what there. No. You need to fix the whole nails, they where not what I showed. They end up fixing it but the whole time the lady was SOOO rough, not trying to be gentle or anything. I'm attaching pictures of my bleeding fingers. After they "fixed" my nails I go to my car where my thumb is literally dripping blood. I go to work after and tell my friends about it and apparently they had not heard good things about it and now see this. They stopped going. Not to mention all the nail polish left on my nails & it took my hands so long to heal. Looking at the reviews I'm not the first once to have nasty customer service because my nails needed to be fixed. I wish that they took ownership, where GENTLE, and where willing to fix there mistake. My advice, don't go here. I now go to a family owned salon who are much more nice and cheaper. read more

Finally my nail haven. I've been in Georgia since October and finally I've found someplace that's clean, friendly and can actually do nails. I found one other place that I liked my nails but I got my nails done last Friday and Saturday nails were coming off. Today I was told it's due to the air bubbles beneath my actual nail. This is why my nails didn't last. I really appreciated them taking their time with me and explaining what is needed. Amazing experience! The salon is very clean and super relaxing. The music isn't too loud and everyone smiles and greets you when to come in. I'm from out of town and was brought to this nail salon by a friend. Kristie (petite pregnant lady) helped me today and was nothing short of perfect! She let me know about all additional charges (chrome color +$10, length +$5) and took her time doing my nails. After she finished, some of the base color was still showing and she took it upon herself to redo some of the nails even though I wasn't going to say anything. Leaving this review really makes me sad because I've been coming here since we moved to this side of town two years ago. They used to be wonderful, and now I think they are established so the customer service has gone down hill. If you watch the nail techs they don't properly clean the bowls or wipe down edges of pedi bowls. It's gross. This last time I asked them to please wipe everything down and they did. The lady who did my toes gave a great pedicure but the worst paint job I've ever seen. I didn't notice how thin it was until I got home and actually looked. My biggest complaint was my nails. I've been getting SNS nails done for years. The same woman had always done them. The last few times my nails felt sore. I stopped going and gave my nails a three month rest. Just to go back and have the worst experience EVER!!! My nails where grown out and normal when I went in. She did SNS and drilled so deep into my nails that they hurt for a week after. I went back to my old nail lady by old house and asked her take them off and help me because I was afraid to go back but needed my nails nice for work. She removed my SNS and.... oh. My. Gawd. Pictures speak for themselves!!! No wonder they hurt!!! She damn near filed my nail right off. When I called the salon to tell the lady who runs the front she didn't want to hear it.
