First time I have tried the "Surprise me" method of finding a restaurant. This cute little place was packed! I had ordered through Yelp as well, which I rarely do. The pizza looks amazing, the salad complex, the cannoli delightful.

We really enjoy meals at Veneto. This is about our fourth visit in the last couple of years. This small quiet restaurant with no significant frills keeps us coming back because of friendly service and quality food. The dining room is comfortable and even with a full house you can carry on a comfortable conversation with your dinner companions. The appetizer menu has many choices but we have stuck with our favorite, bruschetta. But wait, even before the appetizer you get a few slices of warm tasty bread and some dipping olive oil with herbs and balsamic vinegar. It's a great way to warm up your tastebuds. The Bruschetta is very good with ample helpings of tomatoes, basil and mozzarella. Tonight it seemed a bit shy on balsamic, we should have asked for a little more to drizzle. My wife tends to order her favorite, Chicken Marsala. It's hard to argue with her because it is always very good. Large helpings of fresh vegetables compliment the chicken covered with tasty sauce. On this night I went with something new for me, Spaghetti Bioscala. The pasta was tender and the combination of salami, mushrooms, pepper, broccoli, and tasty cream sauce was very well balanced. They have a nice dessert menu but we have yet to leave room for any. Before the tip the cost was $70 including the food and one soft drink. Pretty typical of dinner out these days, although we have another meal in our fridge! As I said, it's not fancy but we enjoy clean, fresh, friendly and efficient . We think you would enjoy as well.

Amazing! The menu has so many things I want to try! We will be back!! I've never had this white sauce n it's to die for! Excellent service! Ambiance very romantic for us

I have no idea about their food these days, but that they added Texas Style donuts in the morning has me happy! And, I am not a fan of sweets in general. Excellent donuts. Fresh, fluffy, and tasty!!!! You will see the rave reviews on FB especially. And, they are all 5 stars!!! Friendliest owners and crew successfully managing an overwhelming number of people lined up for those morning donut.

Small restaurant in the middle of a few others but big flavors. We really enjoyed the low key atmosphere and it seemed like everyone knew one another. Our waitress was amazing! She gave great recommendations and was very attentive. The Caesar salad had fresh homemade dressing. The bread was soft and warm. The penne ala vodka had great flavor and my husband finished his whole meal. Even our picky toddler enjoyed eating pizza and salad there. We found our Italian restaurant while we are living here.

Chicken Alfredo with angel hair pasta(I asked for different pasta). So good!!

What a cute little spot. Don't let the outside fool you! Even though it's located in a little strip of seemly worn down shops, this place is anything but worn down. With a little more than a dozen tables, this intimate little Italian restaurant is perfection. It's a little on the darker side inside, which gives it a romantic feel and on some nights, a lone guitarist plays gently by the door while you eat. The food is wonderful. You get a plate of bread with dipping oil when you sit down and I could eat my weight in it. Then the big show. They are great if you want to substitute a pasta type into your dish(I get angel hair with my chicken Alfredo). I've never met someone who got a dish there that they didn't love. The portions are great as well. I always end up taking some of it home to enjoy later. My only gripe that took a star is that all three times I have gone, the service is slow. It takes a while to get drinks refilled and the time between coming in, ordering and getting your food is just a tad too long. Refilling drinks is always a big thing to me. I hate to have to flag someone down to get more water. But other than that, this place is a real winner.

A stale, strange, 'mildewy' smell was wafting so spun on our heels and skidaddled right back into the fresh air.

Dropped in on Wednesday with my daughter and son-in-law after picking them up at the airport. In the past I have wandered through the menu and tried different things. But lately I've always gravitated to their Eggplant Parm. It's always such a generous portion, but I was totally surprised to see a SMALLER version on the menu! I ordered that and it was STILL a good sized portion. And, as good as I remembered. Nice crispy discs of eggplant, a huge raft of melty cheese, marinara and a side of spaghetti! I had missed it so much I was very tempted to eat it all, but after salad and a breadstick, I was happily satisfied so took my leftovers home for lunch the next day. Service was super pleasant and, given the crappy drive I had to/from the airport in a soaking rain and blustery wind, I really needed that glass of wine. Of all the chain 'family restaurants' I think the OG is my fave. Comfortable, unpretentious and at reasonable prices. Thanks for scratching my eggplant itch!

Only checked on us one time after food delivery and 3 people had water that needed refilled but never was. 3. They brought a Pup Cup with a candle to my MIL. Could you not spare a small slice of cake or something - it was so weird. Who brings a dressing 1oz cup with whipped cream for a birthday celebration? I personally would not go back, but I don't live near here so that won't be a problem. If you like old ambiance, and an old feeling this is your place, just not my vibe.

She was most attentive and had a great sense of humor. We ordered starter salads and small pizzas. My wife had the Caesar salad and I had the house salad...both $8.00. Our 10 inch pizza was the BOBdacious ($18.00): pesto, mozzarella, gorgonzola, shredded chicken, spicy Italian sausage, and fresh basil. The pizza wasn't bad...lots of flavor, but I thought the crust was a little tough and my wife wasn't fond of the sausage used. All pizzas are fire baked, though not wood-fired. The highlight of the meal for me was the salad. The greens were sort of chopped and easier to eat than the oversized leaves of lettuce that seem popular now. Plus there was tons of shredded mozzarella and sliced black olives on the top. The Italian dressing I ordered was very flavorful too. Our friends loved their red sauced pizza; can't recall which one they ordered. I'd likely return for another salad and maybe a sandwich or a couple of appetizers. We chose only water to drink with our meal, but looks like they have a decent beer and mixed drink menu too.

I can go to Costco, get 3 MASSIVE pepperoni pizzas that taste better and feed more for the price of two pizzas and some "crazy bread" from this location (which is what we will be doing from now on. But I digress... you walk into this particular location and it's dirty, run down, and borderline run by the crack heads outside. I'm genuinely shocked they'd pass any type of health inspection. I guess there's a reason they're never busy. After you step into this dirty facility you're not greeted. 9 times out of 10, the employees are in the back, evidently not cleaning. When they finally crawl up to the counter with lifeless eyes and almost no sense of pride or happiness, they mumble sweet nothings of "what are you having?" borderline inaudible to a dog. On to my last and most likely important point: typically you get what you pay for. I paid almost $35 for "Hot-N-Ready" pizza that most certainly was not ready. I waited 15-20 minutes for my "fast food", but on a positive note it was at least hot. I should hope so considering they clearly had to build a fire to make it. I did not get what I paid for. What a tragic experience this was. This has been consistent at this location too. I've been two other times hoping these were flukes but alas, this is consistent. Someone needs to buy the place and revamp it, or turn it into extra parking for ihop. Worst and most ghetto little Caesar's in the area, for sure.
