Hands down one of the best gyros I've ever eaten handmade pitas fresh veggies and sauce that you'll never forget! Made my way here around 330pm food took only about 10minutes and chatted with some amazing people while waiting for my food no seating area no menu needed no Uber Eats needed just walk in and say I want to order a gyro and your set($8.50ea which is a deal for the portions)! This is probably the most hole-in-the-wall establishment I've ever been to in my life. Walking in here is basically like walking into some guy's kitchen, and then he asks you if you want food. There's no seating here. There's no 'menu' except in the sense that there's a few Greek/Med food types written on a board, without any price or description. The guy running the place just looked up and asked if we (my girlfriend and I) wanted gyros. We said yes. He made gyros. It took about 10-15 min for them to be ready. It was the best gyro I've ever had. That's not hyperbole either. It's not like I've scoured the world for gyros, but I've had a good few in my time, from some ostensibly very high end places even, and this was far and away the best one. Tzatziki sauce is the best I've ever tasted. It cost like $8.00 per, so it even felt like pre-inflation prices. The place only appears to accept cash. There is a handwritten note that credit cards are accepted as well, but I saw no card swipe, and I had cash on hand anyway. If I didn't live 200 miles away, I'd be here often enough that the proprietor would get sick of me. As is, I guess it's just going to be a rare treat. read more

When in Bremerton hit this gem!! Get cash and call ahead if you're in a hurry, it usually takes about 15 minutes to get your food. If I have time I order and go to the fudge shop across the street. I've never been disappointed. The pita is homemade and delicious. The owner is always working really hard. I wanted to rate this place much higher for respect to mom and pop shops. I respect how clean this place is, and I loved how it didn't have a thick layer of grime. He cut the meat from a cold spit, and then warmed it up on a counter top grill. The tzatziki sauce was greasy. There were two small pieces of tomato. I have wanted to try this place since 2015, I can see how it may have once been busy. The price wasn't so bad, but the menu was super small. You can't eat in, parking is extremely limited. The best gyro joint in Bremerton! I tried the other places and they were too salty or too dry. The gyro here is perfectly tasty and seasoned. Make sure to bring cash because they dont take plastic and if you have a big appetite, the gyro might be too small compared to other gyro places (not the ones in Bremerton). Take-out only, extremely good, but gosh they're slow. You can be their one and only customer and it takes forever. If not for having to kill 15 minutes standing by the door, I'd pull over once a week or more to get their perfectly done falafel, they make it really, really great. The couple running the place are charming as can be and the fact that they're poky just has to be accepted, at least there's the pay-off of a superb meal to take home. There's not a better lunch in Bremerton. I always get a gyro and a 16oz Jamaica (hibiscus iced tea). The lady that owns the place is really nice. Everything here is made in house and it makes a huge difference. There are a couple things you should know before you go. It is cash only but there are ATMs all around if you forget. This is a grab and go place because they don't really have any seating. I won't get a gyro anywhere else because nothing compares. I went to the place voted "best gyro in Seattle" once. More proof the Callow is becoming the only cool place to go in Bremerton is this place, a small, hole in the wall Greek food place run by two of the nicest folks you've ever met. This is the only place to get a good authentic Gyro in town and it's worth every penny. There's no seating, but the couple will bring your food over to the Hi-Fidelity lounge next door so you can eat there with a beer which is a plus. There's really not much more to it than that. Good service and great food (cheap too). Only thing stopping it from being 5 star is that it is cash only, which is more of a problem of mine because I never carry cash. read more

I was afraid to try Gyros, Etc. for a long time, even though it's a stone's throw from my house. I guess I was worried because the outside looks so... ahem, "humble." I should not have stayed away for so long. The Gyros here are to DIE for. We pick them up for lunch nearly every weekday we can. Only down side: They're not open on the weekend, and you can't really dine in, just take out. But take my word for it -- order a Gyro with everything, then go over to Amy's Decadent Chocolates across the street and pick up some dessert (chocolate covered strawberries are my favorite), and pop back to Gyros, Etc. to pick up your fresh, hot Gyro. Finally I have found a good gyro place. We moved here about a year ago and have been bummed to not find good gyros. But no more, I'm so happy to discover this place. I did not take more photos, mine would have been the same as the others already posted here. There is enough space for roughly 4 adults to stand comfortably in the entrance. Food is cooked fresh, and the gentleman that waited on us was nice. Not really enough room to sit to eat, only if solo (there were 3 of us). Prices are VERY reasonable, and I LOVE the short and simple menu items. They have Gyro's, the special, salads, and drinks. Baklava too! The ONLY thing I'd change, is asking for a few less onions. I like em but they were pretty strong. OVERALL my family will be back here again! In fact my (picky) husband loves this place! read more

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but when I walked in the owner (i'm assuming) was trying to fix a broken piece of equipment and said all I have are gyros right now. That was fine because that was what I had a craving for. I tried to make small talk about the weather and how it ended up being a nice day out but he really wasn't having it. Once he started the order it took maybe 3 min so it was very fast. I saw he had fresh homemade Baklava so I had to try one. The Gyro was 6.50 and the baklava was 2.25 so it was fairly cheap. They only accept cash which I saw from previous Yelpers so I knew to have some on hand. Now the eating: Definitely one of the best Gyro's i've ever had. The dough was fresh and so soft that my fingers almost left fingerprints on it when i held it. Everything inside was cooked perfect and tasted amazing. The Greek sauce was spread abundantly on top and just added to the flavor. (I really wish I would have got 2 to go). The Baklava was amazing as well. It's sugary and flaky almost disintegrated in my mouth before I could even swallow it. I definitely recommend this place if you are craving good Greek food. Keep in mind there is no parking lot so you have to park down one of the streets or other parking lots and there really isn't room for more than 2 or 3 people to eat there at a time so togo is definitely the best way. I'll definitely be back in the future after I try a few other places in the area since I just moved here. read more

Eh, me thinks not because when I called to ask a question I could not understand the gruff voice that answered the phone, then I was asked who is calling. I asked my question and was told in that gruff manner, that there is no website, no menu, it is a to-go only establishment. Even with GPS, this is a difficult place to locate and has, maybe, parking for 3 vehicles. Note above that it states they are open until 7:00 PM. I arrived at 6:25. I was not greeted with any semblance of customer service diplomacy, but rather a shout out as to whether I was picking up a to-go order. When I stated I was not, that I was there to place an order and purchase food, I was spoken to in a harsh, loud voice that they were closed. I find it most unfortunate that being self-employed they refuse to choose to acquire customer service skills for the lack thereof overrides any good food. I am unable to rate the food. read more
