    Gyro

He makes his own pita bread. The tzatziki is mind blowing. The meat is mouth watering. Dare I saw the best gyro I've ever had? Sure will. Damn PNW. Miss you so.

    Super sloppy gyro.

I wanted to rate this place much higher for respect to mom and pop shops. I respect how clean this place is, and I loved how it didn't have a thick layer of grime. He cut the meat from a cold spit, and then warmed it up on a counter top grill. The tzatziki sauce was greasy. There were two small pieces of tomato. I have wanted to try this place since 2015, I can see how it may have once been busy. The price wasn't so bad, but the menu was super small. You can't eat in, parking is extremely limited. The gentleman who made my food was very nice. It's cash only.

The best gyro joint in Bremerton! I tried the other places and they were too salty or too dry. The gyro here is perfectly tasty and seasoned. Make sure to bring cash because they dont take plastic and if you have a big appetite, the gyro might be too small compared to other gyro places (not the ones in Bremerton). I was so hungry I completely forgot to take a picture lol!

Quick hole in the wall, cash only spot. Call in advance for your order! Got the falafel, very yummy! The bread is a little oily and the sandwich is on the smaller side, but I liked that :) has lettuce, onions, tomatoes, falafel and tzatziki.

I always get a gyro and a Jamaica (hibiscus iced tea). It's delicious

There's not a better lunch in Bremerton. I always get a gyro and a 16oz Jamaica (hibiscus iced tea). The lady that owns the place is really nice. Everything here is made in house and it makes a huge difference. There are a couple things you should know before you go. It is cash only but there are ATMs all around if you forget. This is a grab and go place because they don't really have any seating. I won't get a gyro anywhere else because nothing compares. I went to the place voted "best gyro in Seattle" once. It wasn't even close.

Best Gyros I've eaten outside of Greece. Super tender meat. Tzatziki sauce was perfect.

The gyro was so good, this Jamaica (hibiscus iced tea) was a real treat and the baklava was amazing.

We ordered the Tomahawk steak, and it was phenomenal--perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell real care goes into both the quality of the ingredients and the execution. Every bite was worth it. The atmosphere strikes a great balance between upscale and comfortable, making it perfect for a special night out or a relaxed but elevated dinner. Overall, an outstanding experience from start to finish. We'll absolutely be back and highly recommend Maynard's to anyone looking for an exceptional meal in Silverdale.

Friends ordered: wine, cider, mule, and more cider. We also ordered the garlic artichoke dip type item, bread was so good and toasty. It was right around 2:30/3 so it wasn't very loud or busy. As we stayed it became busier but still plenty space available. Our server was great, friendly, and on top of refilling our drinks.

She was most attentive and had a great sense of humor. We ordered starter salads and small pizzas. My wife had the Caesar salad and I had the house salad...both $8.00. Our 10 inch pizza was the BOBdacious ($18.00): pesto, mozzarella, gorgonzola, shredded chicken, spicy Italian sausage, and fresh basil. The pizza wasn't bad...lots of flavor, but I thought the crust was a little tough and my wife wasn't fond of the sausage used. All pizzas are fire baked, though not wood-fired. The highlight of the meal for me was the salad. The greens were sort of chopped and easier to eat than the oversized leaves of lettuce that seem popular now. Plus there was tons of shredded mozzarella and sliced black olives on the top. The Italian dressing I ordered was very flavorful too. Our friends loved their red sauced pizza; can't recall which one they ordered. I'd likely return for another salad and maybe a sandwich or a couple of appetizers. We chose only water to drink with our meal, but looks like they have a decent beer and mixed drink menu too.

I realize a simple avocado toast isn't always exciting and honestly, I wasn't expecting much given my experiences here in the past - but I was starving and this was the closest "real" food to me. The bread was this weird mix of stale and soggy with impossibly tough crust (I'm guessing due to the stale?) and the avocado, while green, had that unique taste of an avocado that's a solid day past its prime. My guess is they mash them up and treat them with lemon or lime juice to keep them green. This definitely wasn't fresh avocado. Sadly. Not related to the food - the toast came in the box shown here but also a giant bag with several forks and knives and napkins. Like they felt a family of four was going to eat this? It didn't make any sense. And finally, just like my other visits the folks working there truly seem like they could not care any less if you paid them to. So many Panera locations are amazing, super friendly staff, amazingly clean and really fresh food - I'm not sure why this location can't keep up.

Our counter gal, Chloe, was very nice, answered questions, and reminded us we had earned a treat based on prior purchases. The food was very good, I love great tasting bread, soup, and salad, along with the other baked goodies. I had the Fuji Apple chicken salad (1/2). The lettuce was fresh, green, crisp. It had a-good serving of chicken, dressing, and toppings like walnuts, feta, dried apple slices. It also comes with a side, I chose a small loaf of their bread. It comes warm and with some butter to spread. So good. My wife had potato soup bread bowl. It was a bit small perhaps but good soup and the bread is worth the price of admission.
