This place is hit or miss and it's been mostly misses for me. I've been to this location at least 10 times and I would say I've been satisfied with my result maybe 3 times. Unfortunately I won't be returning. I got my nails done today (pedicure & full set) and the technician didn't seem interested in putting for a real effort. She did the bare minimum on my pedicure and completely ignored my request on the full set. I asked for French tip square shape with rounded corners. As she's going about the process I realize that she's rounding the mail versus square. I settle for the rounded nail as I didn't want to start the process over. She didn't compare the nails to make sure they matched which means they all different shapes. Then I realized she's going to free hand the french tip. I immediately switch plans and ask her to paint the nail instead (can't mess that up too bad). I pick my color and she proceeds to paint the nails. I finally leave & pay only to realize once the sun hit my nails they have several bubbles and even a piece of lent painted into the nail. SMH, I won't be back. Tried for the first time today from a few recommendations. I got there at 9:25 (they open at 9:30) and there were 3 people ahead of me! I only waited 10 minutes before they called me over. They had tons of techs who were working hard. I got a fill and they did an amazing job! They shaped my nails perfectly and were able to do a design! I spent a little over an hour here and was very pleased! Will definitely make an appointment though if I can't arrive at opening. read more

So I was so, so hesitant on writing a review because I understand people have bad days but followed by poor customer service OVERALL I really felt I should write this: I am not a picky person and get a pedicure maybe twice a year. I treated myself for my birthday on 9/11 as you can imagine is a hard day in general. The woman who did my pedicure didn't understand a word I said. She not only cut me so I was bleeding, she never even filed my nails!!! I asked her to press harder while rubbing my legs and she smiled & nodded but didn't change pressure. She put me in the drying chair and I NEVER saw her again. After a while I got up to pay and leave. When I got home and sat with my feet up I was appalled. I called the spa and asked for a manager just to give them a heads up and let them Know how disappointed I was. The man who answers said he was it, told me to return so they can fix it. I explained she cut my toe nail off and it couldn't be fixed, he INSISTED said I should have said something and to come back in so they can make it right. RELUCTANTLY, I returned a few days later when I had time... I explain to the girl at the counter and she says oh he left, I'll take your number so he can call you. NOPE. He told me to come back, here I am. After her making a fuss and saying what's wrong with them and looking saying we can't fix that the way it was cut I explained AGAIN. I also had to point out how they weren't filed. She begrudgingly said to go find my same color and brought me back to a chair. She removed my polish and LOUDLY says okay what wrong?!? Now, if I have to point it out again- maybe you shouldn't be doing nails either. She removed polish filed ALL my nails and repainted them, while asking for my receipt so she can see who did them originally to address and correct it with her. It was very condescending. When done she says okay go dry. So again I sat at the drier unsure how long until she noticed me taking a photo of my toes and she said you done! And gave me a thumbs up. Lesson learned- I certainly wouldn't return there. Customer service is number one in my book. read more

I finally found a nail shop after 6 months of looking and living in Riverview for almost a year! This place is wonderful. I got there 2 minutes before it opened on a Sunday and there were already 4 people ahead of me so thats a good sign. The cleanliness and ambiance was perfect. The staff was very nice, professional and gentle. They use high end products and the spa chairs are very comfy with a lot of features. I ended up with a mani pedi combo but the price was different at checkout than what was on their services sheet. A bit overpriced in my opinion but great service overall. Lastly, they offer a discount of $10 off when you get 10 stamps on your card. I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

Horrible time management! Not for parties of 3 or more. We made an appointment for a bachelorette party with 5 people. (5 isn't even that many) I told her on the phone it was just for pedicures. We arrived early, signed in and picked colors. After waiting 15 minutes after our appointment time, we were told 3 seats were ready. We asked if we could wait for the other 2 to be ready as well, and they said "we can't guarantee that." So, three of us got our pedis, and then the other 2 did after us entirely. I am new to the area and my cousins come here all the time. They recommended having my nails done here and I am so disappointed with the nail tech which should not even work here. I felt she was rushing to get me off of the chair so she could make more money. Treat your customers like shit and they won't come back, I will not recommend anyone to get their nails done here. Another thing I do not like and find very offensive is how they talk in their language while you are sitting getting your nails done and they assume people do not know what they're saying. I had my nails done on a Tuesday evening. I chose gel because I thought it would last awhile. The following day around 7 am, the nail polish which was supposed to be gel starting to come off. I went back to the salon and the lady who did my nails claimed it was my fault the nail polish came off. I was really upset... her lack of customer service was beyond me. I've been a customer here for 2 years and out of all the times I've come here, only once did I have a bad experience where I walked out upset and unhappy with the service. Today I returned to get a nail fixed again, being that the one I got fixed yesterday broke again. The owner didn't charge me either time. Instead they just fixed it and sent me on my way. I know a lot of Facebook reviews mentioned they're racist, but in the 2 years I've been going here I've never witnessed it. If anything everyone gets treated the same from what I've seen. Talking to the owner, if you give them the opportunity they will do their best to fix the problem. There's 4 other nail salons in close proximity if you truly have an issue with this one, but I can guarantee you... you'll probably be back once you're done being upset. It's one of the few nail salons that offer military, teacher and a few other discounts. Not only that but they have a stamp card, you just need to remind them to stamp it. My daughter (16) had an appointment for a full-set today at 3:45pm. This is what she walked out with. She wanted coffin shaped medium length. What she received was a mediocre job at best. Her nails are not coffin shaped and the paint job was also mediocre. The shaping is crooked, the nails are not clean and crisp like they should be. I have been looking for a good salon for a while. The last one I was going to for acrylics was expensive and never came through with what I asked for so I decided to come here. This place is so amazing its quiet and peaceful they play like spa music to. Nobody is yelling. Everyone is nice and they're very organized when it comes to who goes next and what service your getting. (Also there's surprisingly no overwhelming acetone smell it just smells Iike all the scrubs they use which smells amazing) i showed a picture of what I wanted and he was very nice and he gave me the best set I've ever gotten! Went in as a walk-in and was seen right away, very updated and relaxing environment. I had no idea what I wanted to get done so my nail tech asked me a couple questions and recommended what would be best. I didn't feel pressured to get something I didn't want. I ended up doing the dip, cane out great and wasn't thick or chunky looking like most places. I took away one star because she touched my thumb nail before it was done drying and didn't fix it, just sort of rubbed oil on it and let it go, so I have her fingerprint in my nail. I was concerned after seeing the reviews for this place but a friend said they did great work on her nails. We were able to get right in with pedicures and there were a lot of colors to choose from. My boyfriend had to get his calluses removed so it was $5 more. $25 for a pedicure is reasonable though. I got dip gel done on mine and they did a wonderful job. They are really good about making sure that YOU like the way your nails look before you leave. I am moved to the area about 7 months ago and have been looking for a nail salon. After tying many in the area I noticed Venetien last week when we went to First Watch for the first time. I went in today without an appointment and was greeted right away. It was opening time so I had no wait. The spa is lovely, decorated very nicely that sets a calming tone. They also have calming meditation like music playing. I got a powder dip manicure and the work was great! Thank you Trish! I didn't have time for a pedicure but I will be back for my future mani and pedi. The only reason I didn't award 5 starts right now is that I haven't had a pedi. Hi, I'm a longtime customer of Venetian and developed a relationship with Ken, Ty, and Kim awesome nail and pedicure tech. I have experienced problems in the past, and Ken has normally dissolved my problems. I have a powder dip with nail art. I cracked my nail. I arrived as a walk-in and offered to wait for Kim, but Ken refused to allow her to service but Ken suggested his sister and greeted her but had a nasty disposition about her; she had an attitude I stated from the beginning if you dont feel like providing service let me know now. I asked if she will please soak off my polish she stated I quote don't tell me how to do my job and I replied I'm the customer I gave the right to request a service because apparently she didn't know her job she drilled into my skin causing it to bleed. I stated to her that you didn't utilize any sanitation precautions and then applied the gel on top without glue. Neither did she dip my finger, and the design was opposite from my other fingers bleeding underneath, so I told her it was incomplete. The sister said I could come back and let Kim fix it before I gave her the business Ken left a customer he was working on to tell me he heard the conversation and I was telling her how to do her job exactly she was screwing he tried to say my nail was bleeding I told him no it was cracked she drilled off the polish and tore the skin up instead of him correcting the situation later because I told him call me later because we had a friendship I didn't want to embarrass him because Venetian has lost so many customer because his sister unprofessional and lack of knowledge of her job he's standing outside going back and forth until frustration set forth and I really told him how I felt its unfortunate that other employees has to suffer the repercussions I treated them well and when I departed 4 customers left after they witness the incident.
