Absolutely incredible experience with Venchy Couture (Venus)! Venus custom-made the most beautiful gloves to accompany my wedding dress, and I truly couldn't have dreamed of anything more perfect. Every detail was thoughtfully made, and the gloves were truly the finishing touch that made me feel like a bride straight out of my dreams. Venchy Couture - My gorgeous gloves Venus made from scratch - Bridal Near Me - Deerfield Beach, Florida

I got married in June and found my dream dress online in 2023, but it was only available at a bridal shop in Edinburgh. I knew I would need to find a dressmaker who could custom make the dress for me (with some personal modifications) and came across Venus through these Yelp reviews. I could not have worked with a better designer! Venus not only confirmed that she could make the dress from scratch from 100% silk at a reasonable price, but was open to all my changes to the original dress and even suggested some gorgeous additions of her own! She was communicative between fittings and such a pleasure to work with. Every iteration of the dress as it came to life was better than the last. I received so many compliments on my dress and veil on my wedding day and I can not imagine wearing anything from a bridal shop. Her creation was the dress of my dreams! read more

Ladies.. if you need alterations, think no more. Go to this place and use Venus's service. Especially for wedding gown. She is the expert. Previously, I went to another alteration which I found on Yelp. But he knows nothing about wedding gown. My wedding dress was still too big and looked ugly, 10 days before the wedding day!! Seriously ladies, if you're going to get married, save your insanity and go to this place. Venus is an expert, also able to help for last minute alteration. read more

Venus was wonderful to work with! I initially met with her via Zoom for a virtual consultation to tailor my wedding dress purchased from BHLDN. She was very thorough and direct regarding the estimate and gave candid advice (I was comparing two dresses in the consultation). At her studio, she followed safety precautions by spacing out appointments and ensuring masks were worn during each visit. Venus was meticulous during each fitting and ensured that the dress draped correctly, even fixing an off centered layer. Although I only had a short time frame between the first visit and the wedding (about 10 weeks), she was able to finish the gown early and also provides a steam service as well. Due to the number of layers I had, there was some difficulty walking so she was quick to recognize this was not normal (I had no clue) and trimmed a bit off to ensure I would not trip on the dress. The final fit was absolutely perfect. She gave great instructions to prep the gown for the wedding and also provided a video of the bustling. Venus did a fantastic job and made the entire process stress-free! I would highly recommend Venchy Couture. read more

Venus did the alterations for my wedding dress, rehearsal dress qipao, and my husbands tux. Overall she did an amazing job and for a great price. She's great to work with! read more

My Daughter's wedding gown was purchased from a small bridal shop, whose alterations department received bad reviews. The dress was delivered later than promised and needed major alterations. I found Venchy Couture, and Venus immediately put me at ease. Venus is an amazing Dressmaker. She knows the design of wedding gowns. She understands body shapes and garment construction. Venus built up the sleeves, replaced sheer netting to match Nicole's skin color and reinforced the corset. Venus worked her magic and my daughter was locked and loaded into that gown without sacrificing the style of the gown, or feel of the design. We needed a custom Watteau train with horsehair trim, and Venus constructed it using the extra lace we provided. If you can book this amazing Designer to alter your wedding dress, consider yourself lucky and blessed. read more

I had a terrible experience with the alterations done by the boutique where I bought my wedding dress. I contacted Venchy Couture in a panic and Venus was a life saver! She had to reconstruct the shape of my dress and remove a bunch of extra fabric they left inside but once she was done it was PERFECT and fit me like a glove. Months later and I still get compliments on the fit of the dress. read more

Venus is incredible and worked her magic to make a bridal gown that was a bit too tight feel comfortable and elegant and form-fitting. I admire her quality of work and know that she has just as high, it not higher standards, than I do (for my own wedding dress!). I trusted her judgment and guidance on the suggested alterations and the final product is great. read more

This place is as good as they come. I am in an out of town wedding, and we had to order the bridesmaid dresses online. The sizing was a disaster and I couldn't even get the dress zipped up. A few other alterations places had told me that what I needed to be done was impossible. Well, not for Venus! She easily got the dress into perfect shape. She was patient, kind.. and turned my dress nightmare into a dress I'm actually excited to wear. She is communicative, reliable and super flexible with her hours, making it super simple to come in for fittings etc. The alterations were done quickly, efficiently, and all at an affordable rate. Will definitely be going back to this little gem in our corner of Brooklyn, for all alterations big and small. Thank you VENUS!!! read more

I bought my dress from BHDLN and one of the tailors they recommended was Venchy Couture. Venus was on top of everything and made me feel comfortable during all my fittings. She knew just where to take in or out! I was a little scared during my 2nd fitting and was going back and forth with Venus on whether or not to tighten the dress. Venus was patient and thorough with the whole process! My final fitting was amazing and my dress fit like a glove! I would definitely recommend her :) read more

Venus, the owner of Venchy Couture, made my wedding dress fittings a total breeze. When I brought my dress in, it was so long I couldn't walk in it, but she did an amazing dress hemming it and she also added cups in the halter, took in the top, and added a bustle for the train. While it was a lot of work on her part, she did all the alterations very quickly and the entire process felt easy and effortless. Venus is a total sweetheart and she made each fitting fun and enjoyable. She also is shockingly affordable and fair. I can't recommend Venchy Couture enough! read more

Great bridal fitting experience - super professional, organized, reasonable prices, and great work! Made the dress fit perfectly at the waist/chest (which was loose/gapping before), and the hem and bustle job allowed me to dance all night without changing my dress. read more

Great service, reliable, timely, and friendly! Went to Venchy Couture for a bridesmaids dress. I was able to get a quote right through the yelp app - send a pic, material, and a few other details that it asks for - SO easy. I got a response back almost immediately with a quote and set up an appointment for a few days later for my fitting. The shop offers convenient times...I was able to go right after work (6:30/6:45) and the owner even calls to confirm the day of (very reliable!). There was no wait when I got there, she immediately had me put my dress on and started fitting for alterations. My dress was promised to me about 2 weeks later and she was extremely prompt (maybe even called me a few days earlier than expected) and had me come in to try on the dress and make some finishing touches on the spot so I could take my dress home that day. She did a great job, was extremely friendly, and the price was really reasonable (especially when comparing to some crazy prices in the city). Will definitely go back! read more

I was nervous to get my wedding dress altered. Luckily, I found Venus, and she did a great job with my dress and veil.

Venus, the owner of Venchy is amazing. She beautifully tailored a dress I needed to wear to an event the next day, turning it around in a few hours. She didn't even blink an eye, it was no problem. Her work was amazing, fast and the dress fits perfectly. She was so sweet and easy to collaborate with, and really has a great eye. I am so grateful to find her. Her custom work looks incredible too. I wish I could give Venus at Venchy Couture more than 5 stars, she is beyond amazing and is the absolute best tailor in NYC for your dress alteration and bridal needs. She is highly skilled, she is fast, and she is so kind. I had a beautiful vintage (delicate) slip dress that I needed tailored for my friend's wedding and Venus was not only able to get it done in time for the wedding (very tight turnaround) but she also went above and beyond to help me. The slip dress came out fabulous. Exactly how I imagined it. I wore it for the rehearsal dinner. And then, her real skills came to be... I was planning to wear a different vintage dress, a sequin dress, for the night of the wedding. It was tight on me, I hadn't worn it since college, but I decided to go for it anyway... Upon arrival to the wedding venue, I stepped out of my car and the entire dress split up the back. It was completely open and I couldn't go into the wedding party in that state of undress... My date gave me his jacket to cover me up, and I called Venus for help. Even though she was in the middle of a family barbecue, she met me at her shop and sewed the dress back up while I was still wearing it. She used extra durable thread so it wouldn't split again, and also gave my date a tutorial on how to cut it off of me at the end of the night!!! It was the final hurrah for that gown and I couldn't have done it without Venus' help. I'm so grateful to Venus for her incredible kindness and amazing sewing skills. I will defiantly seek out her help again when I get married and need some alterations for my special day. I highly recommend Venus!! Thank you!! read more
