I had the most wonderful experience at Bellissima last weekend! 2 days prior, I had a horrible day at another bridal shop that left me feeling discouraged, but Yanick turned my frown upside down in a heartbeat. Her kindness, positive energy, and professionalism was outstanding. Yanick quickly gaged my style and was able to pull tons of gowns that I never would have thought of trying on, but ended up loving them. They have a huge selection of gowns at wonderful prices--there is truly something for everyone! Yanick gave me honest feedback that I appreciated since I was dress shopping alone. My sister did say "yes to the dress" here! They have a great selection of Sample dresses which is what we had to go with because of time restrictions and budget. However, we wished our stylist was more welcoming. She said a few things that did rub us the wrong way several times, but we remained optimistic as my sister was on the path to finding her dress. Sadly, this place does not serve any bubbly. Not during your shopping and even worse NOT EVEN if you say yes to the dress which we were really disappointed given the fact that she did indeed find her dress there. My first visit at Bellissima Bride was great. This visit was over a year ago and I only wish they would of advised me what the new dress store where I'm buying my second wedding dress would have advised me: don't purchase your dress until 6 months before your wedding. I purchased my dress from Bellissima Bride on March 2018. My venue and my wedding date changed since then and so the dress I originally purchased from them is no longer of interest to me. Im not bringing down the amount of stars I originally gave them because of my lack of interest in my dress, but more of the way they presented my dress and my options. When I got there, I was taken into a changing closet where the box that my dress came in was thrown to the side and my dress was hung of to the other side. As soon as I saw my dress, it was a mess. Creased everywhere and it looked horrible when I went to try it on. It literally looked like someone just took it out of a laundry bag (which made me dislike my dress even more). A veil was thrown on the floor in the closet (and I can't remember if it was mine or not) and the girl that was supposed to help me get in and out of my dress was only seen once, maybe twice. I remember even asking my mom to undo the back of my dress because she wasn't around to help me. I tried two other styles out and was so discouraged to try on more. No one helped me look for other styles to try and put my stress at ease. Me and my mom went ourselves to look but no one came around to help us look. I think that would of helped them keep my business. In the end, they just broke down the restocking charges that I would incur if I wanted to leave the dress and the veil with them and I have decided to cut my losses and just move forward with finding another dress elsewhere. Really wish their quality of service could have been more supportive and accommodating (like it was when I was purchasing the dress). No, I was not the bride, but I am a part of the bridal party so the bride invited me to join her for wedding dress shopping and this was the first store that we visited. We had an appointment for 12pm and were quickly accommodated. They brought us to a separate show room in the back of the store, away from everyone which I loved. First, we provided the woman assisting us with the bride's vision for her wedding dress. From there she suggested dresses to us or pointed us in the direction of where to find that style. What I really liked about this store is that there is a picture of each dress on the outside of the garment bag so that we could see exactly how it looks on. Lots of variety in dresses! My friend grabbed about 10 dresses to try on. Each one was beyond gorgeous on her but when she tried on THE dress, we all knew and went crazy! Unfortunately, Bellissima did not have it in the ivory color she preferred but they stated that they could order it online. She was okay with that but told them she would call them back to confirm if that's what she will do for sure. They were understanding and very accommodating. I never once felt rushed or judged for being so indecisive. My consultant truly took her time and cared to work with me. Once I chose my dress, I worked with Chrissie for my fittings. She made my dress fit me like a glove. After countless of wedding magazines, the 'traditional' visit to Miracle Mile, and about 3 stores more around the Boca Raton area, her photographer told her about Bellissima. It's located at The Cove Plaza, in Deerfield Beach. Not a big boutique but has dresses for just about every style, body type, formal to trendy, each with their own special allure, and for just about every budget. The ladies who work there are very personable, attentive, and will bring you dress after dress after dress until you find The One. There's even one that makes beautiful fabric belts and flowers to add an extra sparkle, or detail to your dress. My sister tried about 3 dresses before she found the one she'll get married in. As soon as we saw it on her we knew, search was over. Put a veil on her and we were all tearing up, with big smiles on our faces. Dress was ordered and today was her first fitting. Lady making the alterations is really nice too. She really listened to my sister's requests and made all the adjustments needed to fit her body perfectly. My sister could not stop smiling. Seeing her without any stress regarding her dress and happy is all that mattered in the world at that point. This was such a wonderful experience. This was my second bridal shop I went to on my hunt for THE dress! I found a dress I loved at another shop but wanted to make sure to go somewhere else just in case. The moment I walked in the ladies working there were so friendly and welcoming! I tried on around 7 dresses there and picked one! Quinn helped me and was such a nice person. The next day I had second thoughts because I kept thinking about the first dress. I called up and they said they did not order it and wouldn't until I let them know, so I went back a few days later on a Saturday morning to try on the first dress I liked from the other shop that they luckily sold. Although I didn't end up getting either of my dresses here, it was still the best store I visited (of 4 total) and overall the process was the easiest. I worked with Zakie to find my perfect dresses. I loved the layout of the store. Loved the pictures with each dress, loved the dresses themselves, and best of all found this to be the most affordable of the stores I visited. Wait, that was a lie, one chain store was cheaper, but had worse quality. In the end, I found two dresses elsewhere that really capture the theme of what my wedding is all about, but I'll be recommending everyone I know come here first too! I have to be honest about my horrifying experience with Bellissima Bride. I purchased my wedding gown at a store in Ft. Myers. I couldn't have my alterations done there since I live and work here, so it was recommended that I take my dress to Bellissima. HUGE MISTAKE! Here is the honest story of my alteration experience... My first encounter with the owner, Tania, was during my consultation. We settled on a price for my alterations (which was agreed to be inclusive of however many fittings it took). I was grateful, but was getting the sense it was her way or no way. Tania said I had to wear a specific bra with my dress, which wasn't ideal as my dress had an illusion along the sides/back. I purchased the bra, brought it to my first fitting, and hated how it looked with my dress. The bra was visible on the sides/front of my dress, and my breasts looked huge - which was a look I wanted to avoid. Instead of looking for a solution, Tania said I had to wear this bra or else my "breasts would be saggy." I asked about sewing cups into the dress, but this was a "NO" - as she said I needed "wire support" for my "deflated breasts." After feeling bullied into the bra, the seamstress performed my initial fitting with the bra - she could see my displeasement. Fitting #2: My hem was perfect, but, the dress was very large and I despised the bra. I told the seamstress and again asked if they could put cups in or if I could use one of the other options I brought. Tania said "nothing else will work. If you don't want the bra then you will have to tape your breasts." Feeling bullied, I went along with taping since anything seemed better than having a bra showing. The seamstress recommended we take in the back so I could "have a booty," but that it would be an extra $180. Why?! She then began working on my bustle, but was challenged by how the lace was puffing out on the sides. She got Tania who said, "That is just how it has to be." I'm no bridezilla, but when we are paying you for your services, we expect you to make an effort. I constantly felt belittled and bullied. Instead of being happy and excited at my fitting, I left Bellissima feeling frustrated and uneasy about my experience. Fitting #3 (more like a final try-on): My Mom drove over to learn how to perform the bustle. The dress was STILL loose EVERYWHERE - top, sides, back. I asked if she could take more in on the sides/top as the dress was falling down. Tania said, "No. If we take in any more your arm fat will show." SERIOUSLY?! She then showed my Mom the bustle, which had tiny loops & hooks. She told my Mom she would need to buy a tool to close the hooks so they wouldn't come undone. Really?! My Mom needed to carry tools?! Next, she had me walk around the store in the dress to see how it felt. I told her it felt uncomfortable; it was falling down. Her response, "Just stand up straighter." My Mom vocalized her concerns - it was too large and she could see down the top of my dress and had a clear view of my breasts. Tania's response, "But you can't see her nipple!" WHAT!? My Mom made it very clear how uneasy she felt. Tania kept saying, "But you can't see her nipple." Worried, I even put the hated bra on just to see if it would solve the issue of the top being huge. The hostility continued. My Mom commented on how she could see the bra on the front and side of the dress. Tania said, "It just looks like part of the dress." Then my "fitting" was over and we left confused as to what I was suppose to do to feel comfortable in my dress. So now it was 15 days until my wedding and my dress did not fit. Clearly, we were NOT happy with the job. Tania refused to perform any further alterations and would not give me my dress without paying an OUTRAGEOUS bill of over $875 (significantly more than initially agreed upon). My Mom and I were distraught, but obviously paid to get my dress from them. Desperately, we called the store where I purchased my dress and spoke to the owner, who was FLOORED at the OUTRAGEOUS bill we were forced to pay. Thankfully, she had me come into her store when I arrived to Ft. Myers to take a look at my dress. She relayed to me that Bellissima charged an OBSCENE amount of money for POOR alterations, but said she would do everything she could to fix it. She said my dress was too big, in need of INCHES taken in and agreed I didn't need a bra, nor a tool to bustle. In 1 day, she took the whole dress in, sewed in bra cups, and redid my bustle, saving my dress! It finally fit comfortably! No breasts/bras showing, no dress falling down, and no tools on my wedding day! TLDR: I am disgusted at how Bellissima treats their brides. Wedding dress fittings shouldn't be a hostile experience. You should not be told you have saggy breasts or that you need to maintain perfect posture on your wedding day. It should be fun, exciting, and a team effort that makes everyone happy and comfortable. Bellissima Bride DOES NOT do any of these things. read more

Their store is huge and has every type of dress your heart could desire ! They offer champagne while you're dress shopping which was a very nice touch. The owner Joe and his wife were at the store every time I visited. They were extremely warm, friendly, and helpful. They accommodated all of my needs as far as scheduling appointments etc. Shopping there, and going back for fittings was truly a pleasure. We convinced her to go to one before and then Bellissima we got there and their selection was far superior dresses galore "word to wise don't touch". We got a saleswoman who's name I didn't get. With this being one of the most exciting day of my granddaughters life, I asked this woman if she liked her job? She asked why I said there is no joy or happiness on her face. I saw her walk to her bosses obviously talking about the "rude Grandma". Next thing we know we got lovely happy interactive Gwen. This is a really nice neighborhood bridal store. The place is warm and inviting and the owner is super nice and pleasant. The place is very well organized and offers a vast selection and wide variety of designers and prices. There were a lot of large bridal parties the same time of my visit and this is indeed a popular destination for bridal shopping. However I'm unsure if a return visit is warranted. 1. The woman who helped me had a rather unpleasant temperament and it made the over all experience very uncomfortable. 2. She was rather pushy and consistently trying to upsell. There were a few dresses above my price range and she shrugged, 'it's only a little more than your price range.' Had i really love the dress i'd be open to paying more but it was not the case and i would prefer not to waste time on dresses above my price range. 3. About 1/2 way through she said 'I think this is your dress. You don't need to try on anything else.' While i appreciate her lack of enthusiasm and honesty, i wasn't jumping up and down thrilled with the dress hence i intend on trying on other dresses I picked out. She seemed surprised that I wanted to continue trying on more dresses. The bottomline, the customer will know if she's found 'The Dress' and please refrain from inserting unsolicited comments to influence your customer. Especially do not try to upsell alterations when your customer has not even select the dress. If anyone needs to spend excessive amount in alteration, clearly, this is not the dress and she needs to look for another dress that is better suited. read more

Bellissima Bride is great! I love that they let me and my mom browse the store and pull anything I might be interested in, but that my consultant also pulled a few that she thought I might like. Since this was my 4th salon, I already knew a lot of what I liked/didn't like, so I appreciated the freedom. Also, all the dresses have a little picture attached to their bag, which makes it soooo much easier to browse! I was especially impressed that my consultant, Yanick, was also a seamstress, so instead of clipping, or using a pillow, or holding the dresses like other salons (I am a bit smaller than sample size), she actually took the time to pin the dresses so I could really see what it would look like, despite the size difference. At my first appointment at Bellissima, I spent nearly two hours trying on dresses and emerged with my favorite dress that I had tried, but I was not 100% sure. There was absolutely no pressure to buy, and I went home to sleep on it. About a week later, after looking online again at that dress's designer, I found one that had a lot of similar elements, but without the parts I wasn't sold on with the first dress - and luckily Bellissima had just gotten it in! My mom and I went back and Yanick pinned me in. Despite the sample dress being double the size that I ordered (12 vs 6), I felt like I could really see what it would look like & I knew that was it! Went here for my first dress shopping experience. Worked with Roberta who is too kind, not pushy, and a true lady. Even got a thank-you card in the mail from her a few days ago! Worked within my budget and gave us a good amount of time to mull over each dress. Offered advice and suggestions without interfering. It's a fine line and she works it well. Not sure if I'll buy the dress here. I returned two days after my original appointment to try on the one I was loving. Worked with Britt this time. Lovely girl. I didn't love the gown as much as I did the first time I had it on, so she introduced me to a gown that's a smidge over budget but a serious contender. I was surprised that she 'got me' and what I wanted after such a short interaction. I didn't like the silver embroidery but the owner said he can order the dress in gold embroidery! Even showed me 'scrap' of the dress with the gold embroidery from the alteration of the same dress from a previous bride. I'm very indecisive and won't be able to commit until I see the dress with the gold embroidery. So the owner said he'll order it so I can try it on (no commitment!)...all I have to do is give him a call a few weeks before I arrive in town next year. WILL DO! Really love the atmosphere here. I am so torn giving this review a 3 star because I was soooo beyond happy with Brittany, the sales rep who helped me find my dress, and the seamstress, Chrissy. The problem at Bellissima is the owners. They are downright rude and treat their employees horribly. Brittany helped me get my flower girls custom made dresses, she took their measurements and sent them to woman making them in a different state. She was so helpful throughout the entire process and even helped me with other things for my wedding, that had nothing to do with my dress! She's so friendly and accommodating! She even texted me back while on vacation! Chrissy was awesome! I lost some weight between fittings and she made my dress fit like a glove!! I had my last fitting 3 days before my wedding and it was PERFECT!! They are the best!! The owners, Tania and Joe are not nice. They are rude to their employees and talk down to them. When I came in with a few of my bridesmaids and my mom and I found my dress, they gave us champagne. When I came in with one of my bridesmaids to pick up and try on my dress, the day before my wedding, we asked for champagne because it was the most stressful day ever and we heard Tania yell at Brittany tell her to get her her phone and not to give us champagne because it wasn't our appointment where we found our dress. When we were leaving after I paid, I complimented Chrissy and Brittany to Joe since he was at the counter. His response was, "Tania is the best, do you know Tania?" I said I told him I didn't and she chimed in and reminded me of a phone call we had that I did not recall. It was irrelevant I was done there. The pricing on their dresses is way less expensive than going down to Miracle Mile in Miami and a much more enjoyable experience. Came in for my first day looking at dresses - had Yannick as our sales representative but she's also a designer, so she brought and entire different level to appointment. She showed my and my mom around and pulled some dresses to show me. Loved every dress she had me to try and then fell in love with "the one"! Since she's an designer she added tulle cap sleeves to perfect my look. Also picked out the most beautiful veil and even did my hair! Loved everything about Yannick!! read more

My wife came here recently and had a very poor experience due to the owners short attitude and dismissiveness. It wasn't until she literally broke down in tears that Tania then treated her with the type of caring attitude that she should have from the start. Judging by other, even positive reviews, this clearly isn't uncommon behavior of the owners. No excuse for this. Very poor customer service read more

Its been a while since I have been trying to write a review about this place but I didnt find time until now. This place is AMAZING. I came here running from Coral Gables stores (I went to Chic Parisien at first) and I HATED IT. THey treated me rudely and I just did not think that wedding dress shopping would be that bad. To start I told them my story, I spoke with Joe (the owner) via email and from the very first email h made me feel more comfortable. Made an appointment and got there a few minutes late, however they had no problems. Since I had spoken with Joe he had a few styles he picked for me before I walked in. My Stylist was Roberta and man she was amazing too. I had a decent budget from $3,500-$5,000 and they had many dresses, I liked almost every single one. (I am usually the pickiest person ever) I wanted an open back dress or a simulated open back dress which made it a little difficult for me to find but they had plenty of different ones in all shapes and sizes. Although I liked most of the dresses I did not felt like I LOVED one, at the end one of the attendants suggested one from Pronovias. I tried it on and I loved it, but there was one thing missing, it was a V neck and I wanted a sweetheart neck line. So I go home convinced that I had found the dress but that I had to just settle for the V neck. Joe had mentioned that if I find a dress online that I liked he would do his best to order it for me so that I could tried it on. Next monday I did a little bit of my research at the Pronovias website and I found one I loved, quickly I sent Joe and email asking to see if he had that style. They did not had the style, however he would order it for me, on my size. Made my appointment for he following Saturday and there it was, I get there and the box was still unopened because Joe wanted me to open it first so that I could enjoy my excitement. I tried on the dress and its a perfect fit. I loved the dress and without Robertas and Joes help it wouldve been super hard to find something that I liked that much. After having such a bad experience in Coral Gables I thought that the whole wedding dress shopping experience was going to be torture, but thanks to them I LOVED IT! (and on top of that the dress was way under my budget which I also loved!) Thank you Bellissima Bride for making my experience this awesome!...
