Awful.
We had an appointment made well in advance at 3pm on Saturday. My Grammy was in town just for the weekend so my Grammy, my mom, and I wanted to shop together while we had the chance.
We arrived three (3) minutes late because the place was hard to find. It's visible from the interstate but to get there you have to loop around and drive through a sketchy industrial lot to get there.
When we arrived, there was one woman working who was with another client and she said our assistant had stepped out for a minute and would be right back. In the meantime, we should look around.
It seemed like there was a decent selection but we weren't given any guidance on how it was organized so we were blindly searching around. The gowns didn't have pictures either so it was all based on the rack. My mom later confessed she picked this place because it advertised affordable styles but everything I saw was at least $1,500 so it was no more affordable than any other boutique.
20 minutes later... still no assistance. I asked the woman working if our assistant had said when she would be back and her response was "well you were late for your appointment so she stepped out". Recall where I said we were three (3) minutes late.
At that point my mom started calling other boutiques to see if anyone could rescue our afternoon. My Grammy was in town for just that weekend!
The woman then offered to get us started, but at that point we were pissed off about the excuses, blaming us, and having no idea when she was coming back, and I didn't want to take away from the other bride's experience, so when Wonderland Bridal said they could take us if we hurried before they closed at 5pm we got out of there. See my forthcoming review of Wonderland for how things SHOULD be done. And stay away from this place, where they aren't ready for you and don't even accept responsibility for their own BS. read more
