I have never had such a great experience with alterations before. Not only is Reina an incredibly talented seamstress, but she is so kind and welcoming. She had told me that her business has had the same location and phone number for 31 years! Please note: she works by appointment only, and takes zelle or cash. I was going to rehearsal dinner and wedding and both of my dresses needed alterations. One needed to be taken in probably 2 sizes, and the other needed to be hemmed and also taken in a bit. They turned out perfect, and she had no problem getting them done by time I had to leave for my event. Her prices were also spot on. Some places really do take advantage and charge an arm and a leg, often times charging more than what the garment itself cost originally. She will 100% be my go-to for any alterations. read more

I can't began to describe Reinas services. You don't expect this small nook behind Angelus Bridal would be putting out the cuts she does. Ran by her and one other staff member I couldn't see myself going to any other place for alterations needs. Reina has done my bridal dress, sisters bridal dress, Miami Dolphin tryout outfit, and also my daughter's uniforms and formal wear. To be more specific my wedding dress had to be done within a month. It was brought down 7 sizes and made strapless. The back was also brought down and she managed to do all this without batting a lash and in three appointments. Reina is also very honest and knows her schedule my Miami Dolphin tryouts outfit was a last minute alteration. I had lost a little more weight than expected and tryouts were two days out. Do not let the small door and location fool you. These women know what they are talking about and more so what they are doing. I was referred to Reina and Team from where I purchased my dress along with five or six girlfriends who used Alterations by Reina for their wedding dresses, including my sister. And I'm so happy I took all of their advice because my experience was nothing less than perfect. For starters, me not physically living in Florida any longer makes it difficult to schedule multiple appointments, etc. Reina and Team were so accommodating with scheduling and working with my travel they were able to do my initial alterations on Saturday and by Tuesday I was in for my second fitting. Just like that! Affordable, responsive, and wonderful ladies is how I can best describe my experience. I purchased my designer dress from another bride via a bridal resale website. It was a bridal size 18 and I am a street size 10. Reina did an unbelievable job getting this dress to look like it was made just for me. She knew I wanted to sell it after my wedding so she made sure not to cut any fabric during alterations. Besides how sweet and personable Reina is, I think she's great because she doesn't overcharge just because it's something wedding related. Let me tell you, Reina is an extremely lovely woman to work with! She is so kind and sweet, as well as the other ladies that work with her! I went to the store to get my wedding dress fit and each time they expertly measured and altered it. I just had a great experience with them overall. Reina did a masterful job tailoring my wedding dress. I wore a vintage (late '80s) wedding dress that two of my aunts had been married in. The dress was special to me but also needed some updates (see: '80s). I also live out of town and could only go for fittings three months before the wedding, and the week of. When I went in the week of, Reina had done a great job with the core changes the dress needed (shorter cap sleeves, and a narrower waist), but something was still not "me" about the way the waistline was gathered. Reina set my expectations professionally, noting that the design of the dress was limiting but that she would try. 24 hours later, I returned to see she had worked magic, and the dress felt like a dream - it felt like the substantial, vintage dress it was, but had the modern silhouette I wanted (she had pulled the front ruching to the back which actually made the train even more luxurious). Reina also helped me find a perfect, simple veil through a contact of hers, a task I was stressed out by and had put off until the last minute. I went here after reading such AWESOME reviews by The Knot and other wedding sites. This is located in the back of a bridal store off of I-95. It is run by many Hispanic women who seem very kind-hearted and are excellent at what they do! I went here for three fittings, and they took in my dress two sizes after significant weight loss. My dress was tafetta with delicate beading and crystal detail. It ended up being around $200 for the fitting and It fit perfect! They also made some ties to bustle up my dress for the reception.
