Boca Raton Bridal South - Trying on dresses!

    Boca Raton Bridal South

    (41 reviews)

If I could give Boca Raton Bridal South more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat. The moment my…read moredaughter, the Bride, her maid of honor and I walked in, we were IMMEDIATELY greeted by 3 wonderful staff members. The entire store was MAGNIFICENT and perfectly organized and bright and CLEAN! The advertising on their website doesn't even do them justice. They, especially her personal consultant, Carli, went the extra extra mile, even though it wasn't extra for them. That was just their normal behavior and service. They took all my notes via text and phone conversations and when they walked us to OUR OWN LIVING ROOM, I began to cry just because I KNEW this was "THE STORE" my daughter would find her special gown. I literally told the groom's mother and maid of honor, she's going to find "The Gown" here. They already had 3 perfect gowns on the waiting rack and each one was in my price range, correct size, and most importantly, the exact style I had described to Carli. In our living room, they had a beautiful sofa and 4 or 5 other beautiful chairs for the entire bridal party. An adorable mini fridge filled with beverages and snacks. We were allowed to bring our own champaign and cups to enjoy while in this process. (Of course, we took full advantage of that) I didn't have to do ANYTHING because Carli was on point every single second. She NEVER left my daughter's side. She listened to every single detail from ALL OF US and followed our lead and went with it so naturally. We even brought our own embellishments to add to whichever dress my daughter wanted and Carli became so excited and loved 'playing and adding' them to my daughter's dress like someone who had just received a new coloring book with a magnificent canvas. It was adorable and fun to watch Carli having so much fun. LOL After trying on the 3 dresses they had already pulled, my daughter was able to slip into the bridal robe they provided so she can go walking around while we looked for more gowns for her to try on. Her Maid of Honor walked around with her and agreed this store was perfect. I, along with my daughter's future mother-in-law and sister-in-law/bridesmaid, pulled a few more gowns for my daughter to try on. After trying those gowns on, we went back to one of the gowns Carli pulled and that gown turned into "The Dress" and my baby girl had her special moment saying "I am saying yes to this dress"! Funny enough, their setup made it seem like we were the only people in the store and we didn't even know there was another bridal party in the store. It was that private and comfortable. Today, only 2 days later, Carli reached out to my daughter to schedule the first fitting appt. I can literally go on and on but I would be typing all day. I would recommend this store to anyone and everyone!!! Not only do they provide the experience of a lifetime AS THEY ADVERTISE but they go WAY BEYOND!! I cried so many times just because they were giving my daughter the time of her life with all the most important women in her life right by her side supporting her. It was a dream that all mothers think about once they give birth to their princess, coming to life! Thank you, Carli! Truly, thank you so much. We will see you on May 27th for my daughter's first fitting. P.S. My photos do not do the shop or dress as much justice as being there. But, you can just imagine from my photos.

I originally flew to Florida from New York to shop at this bridal store. At first the experience…read morewas wonderful. I had the pleasure of working with Yovanna, who was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and attentive. After just a short phone call the day before my appointment, she had already picked out what ended up being my wedding dress. The store itself was clean, elegant, and had thoughtful personal touches like a welcome letter board with my name on it. UNFORTUNATELY, everything changed once my dress arrived months later! I flew back to Florida in January for my pickup appointment, bringing my shoes and veil with me. Due to unforeseen circumstances involving renovations next door, the store had issues that caused my appointment to be canceled and rescheduled twice. In the end, I was not allowed inside the store and had to pick up my wedding dress in the parking lot while the manager, Jocelyn, was inside with fans running and floors being mopped. There were even PODS containing dresses sitting outside. While I understood the situation itself was out of their control, it was still disappointing to lose what should have been a special bridal moment. Once back where I was staying, I tried on my dress and immediately noticed a quarter-sized red stain inside one of the bra cups. When I contacted the store, I was told the dress had "never been removed from the bag," which was concerning considering the circumstances the store had just experienced. I was then told later "the brides like to open the bag themselves"which again felt odd given the condition of the store at the time. Instead of offering a real solution, I was initially sent an Amazon product recommendation to clean the dress myself. After speaking with my seamstress, who believed it could possibly be a water or spray-related stain, I contacted the store again with photos. Jocelyn explained there was "not much they could do since the dress had left both the designers store and their store" AND "this has never happened before". I was offered a link on how to remove different stains from the designer's website. Eventually, they asked me to ship the dress back to Florida so they could "handle it," but when my fiancé and I repeatedly asked what that actually meant, I was never given a clear answer. I was understandably uncomfortable shipping my wedding gown back and forth. I asked if they would reorder the dress so I could exchange it during another trip to Florida in April, but they refused. We settled on traveling back ourselves with the dress and allowing them to "handle" it. Thankfully, my seamstress was able to remove the stain after spending several days carefully working on it. When I informed the store in April that I would not be bringing the dress back, I explained that we were disappointed not only with the stain itself, but with the lack of care, communication, and professionalism throughout the process. Jocelyn had said she was sorry and questioned why my plans had changed. She said the owner, Jan, would want to speak with me. Unfortunately, speaking with Jan was even more upsetting. During the call, I felt dismissed and disrespected. She stated that "this has never happened in 20 years," implied the issue would have been resolved faster if I lived closer, and even scoffed at the fact that my seamstress charged me for stain removal, saying it "probably took her two minutes." At this point she wanted to contact my seamstress to confirm this and then she could send me compensation for the stain removal. In the end, what should have been one of the most exciting and memorable experiences leading up to my wedding became incredibly stressful and disappointing. While Yovanna was wonderful, my interactions with management (Jan AND Jocelyn) completely overshadowed the positive beginning of the experience. Brides deserve to feel supported, listened to, and cared for -- especially when issues arise with something as important as their wedding dress. The entire burden of resolving the issue felt like it was being placed on me during what was already a stressful time leading up to my wedding. I felt completely unheard.

I came into the store at around 4:45 pm. I called in advance to inquire if they'd be open until 6 and was told yes and told the associate that I was coming. Once in the store, I expressed some ideas of what I was looking for. The girl turned around and went and sat behind the service desk. I tried one two piece on and asked for a different size. The first outfit she brought was the wrong size. She told me she didn't have a size large. As I was walking around the shop, she suddenly said she found one. She never asked to take the dresses and rehang them, I did that myself. I understand that the sales associate may have been tired. It was undoubtedly a long day. But, I left that store that I've always loved and will never return again.

My saleswoman Letitia helped me find the perfect dress. She was extraordinarily patient and helpful - even advised me on the best jewelry and shoes to complement my outfit. I came back to the store a few days after I picked up my dress, because I decided to,lower the neckline a half of an inch. They did it while I waited and with a smile! I am more than delighted with the product and the service. Thank you to all-Joan, Letitia and the excellent seamstress.
