Then, one day I passed by and saw they had closed the business. I was so sad! Why do all the good business go bye-bye? But, that's not the end of the story. Recently, I saw a sign saying that they were back. [Insert a WOOT, WOOT and do a Snoopy Dance!] I was so happy they were back. So, I visited there again on 10/19/26 and got the same tacos. So good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Asked them if they had sour cream and they had small containers of it. Highly recommend coming here. The only recommendation that I would give is for them to double the tortillas. They put so much in the taco that the tortilla comes apart very quickly. The next time I come, I will try the bowl. Place was clean and I sat right at the area where the chairs face the window so I could people watch. They get alot of traction because you can clearly see the menu from the big window and people stop and look at the menu from outside to determine if they want to stop in which I say YES, come on in. This Dearborn Street location is clean, accessible, and its aroma floats through the street inviting you in. Most people were getting their food to go, but they have seating upstairs if you want to eat there. I've been here twice, and tried their tacos and the burrito. Both visits were disappointing. The burrito was especially bad because the rice was undercooked, so instead of enjoying the "premium" carne asada, I found myself trying to avoid the raw rice. I might give it one more try, but with so many good options around, Dos Toros so far have failed to make it in my list of "must go".

One of the staff members, Chris, was such a vibe. He greeted us friendly and professional as soon as we walked and came over later to check on us, and chatted with me and my aunt. This is the first restaurant I've ordered chips and guac and just been in love with the flavor without having to pour salsa into it in order to make it flavorful . The guacamole stands on its own. Overall, a fun spot with good tacos and a great vibe. I'd go back, but I'd probably keep it as more of an occasional spot than a regular taco run.

The interior is spotless, and much better outfitted than the location would suggest. It's a bit out of the way, in a lightly inhabited intersection, but definitely worth the trip. The tacos here are amazing and are generously stuffed. The come with three salsas with a lot of flavor. The birria tacos here aren't too greasy either. Service is extremely friendly. The grill is open and right behind the cashier so you see them making everything. Definitely a hidden gem in the area.
