Hands down the star of the show was the shrimp dish, perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and honestly some of the best we've had in a while. We ended up ordering a second round just to enjoy it a little longer. Service was friendly and attentive the whole time, which made the experience even better. If you're looking for a great happy hour with a standout menu item, The Whyskey delivers. We'll definitely be back!

Monica was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. Unfortunately, our interaction with Mary was the complete opposite. She was rude and unaccommodating, which made our visit unpleasant. After ordering a few drinks, we decided to patronize another business. As a group of returning customers, we were also disappointed that no effort was made to accommodate us. We've supported this restaurant year after year, and we expected a more welcoming experience, especially as loyal guests. We hope management recognizes the difference that customer service can make and addresses these concerns so future guests--and returning customers like us--have a better experience.

I had my 82 yr old father and 49 yr old Down's syndrome brother with me. My dad's mobility scooter ran out of power and there were no outlets to be found. I was pushing the scooter for an hour as my father struggled to walk with his cane when we reached the steps of the restaurant. The manager said she was more than willing to let us charge the scooter as we ate which was above and beyond what they needed to do. It went further. I discussed how bad of a day we were having and she brought us an appetizer and said she hoped that might help in leasing the bad day. Another employee helped my ailing father up some stairs and to the table. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. Instead of making us walk back to the front where the scooter was charging, another manager brought it to our table. I don't think they realized how much that meant to us and me. Both my dad and brother have challenges and I have to help a lot which I am willing to do but by Margaritaville and their staff giving me a small respite and helping us out, it meant the world to all three of us by helping out when they had 0 obligation to. Friendly staff and good food. Please give them a chance and I guarantee they will move heaven and earth to make your experience an amazing one! Ty! Forever grateful and thankful, Mark Harris

Yes, I know youa re paying theme park pricing but at least for that you typically get some sort of presentation. These were served in a plastic cup, that of which you would recive at a pool bar at an inexpensive resort. They looked nothing like the photo. And for "blended" drinks they were not mixed at all - like literally separated ingrediance. they are also filled so high the you can't pick it up without spilling it. And again we ordered blended so they were sticky. The server spolled some on the ground (whihc was sand) in bring them to us and I spilt on my self when trying to take a sip (because no straws were offered to us until we asked) The food comes out in to-go plates complete with lid so it's soggy to start from the enclosed container keep the heat and mister in. No presentation whatsoever - you can use a covering to shield food from the elements and bugs that is more interested and wont harm the food...this is not a new concept. Food was really bland and flavorless. I truly just do not have anything else to say about it. Just really forgettable. We were not impressed by anything and won't be back unless a visitor (we are newly local) wants to go here. And we will eat something prior to avoid ordering as much as possible.

It's also a great spot for large parties without ever feeling chaotic. Service is always 10/10, always attentive, friendly and prompt, they are so on top of it you never have to ask for a refill. I really wanted to like this place but it was a swing and a miss. Parking was easy during the Saturday afternoon we visited. On busier occasions, they do offer valet parking. Nearby businesses share parking so if it's a peak time, you may have to walk a little to the door. Not a long wait before we were seated. Spacious with tables and booth seating. There is a bar and televisions here. Our hostess was nice and offered insight into the menu. For the appetizers, we started with oysters Rockefeller, and fried gator tail. It's a red flag when places smother items in a sauce instead of letting it stand on it's own. No complaints on the oysters and the gator tail was given previously frozen vibes. For the entree, I got the shrimp po' boy. The bread was hearty and held onto the six lil shrimp that they felt were enough. When the ratio of shrimp, bread and topping aren't portioned right, you end up with gaps of the flavor when you're eating. What sent me is the shrimp weren't properly deveined. If you took a biology class, you know that black line running along the back is the shrimp's waste system. I'm not eating that. The hostess saw me just sitting there looking at my food and asked if I wanted something different. Hard pass. Even the waffle fries were bad. They weren't piping hot and dried out inside. I made due with the sweet tea which they did well with. The manager came by and offered to remake or replace my meal. I appreciate his efforts but I didn't want anything at that point. The bathrooms were clean. Nice enough people but the kitchen didn't get it right.

There are three different choices for seating. A hightop near the bar, regular tables at the bar, sitting at the bar, or sitting at a regular umbrella table by the pool. I guess that makes four options. I chose a high top. The menus are already on the tables and I was quickly seated and greeted by my waitress who asked what I wanted to drink and I ordered a club soda with lime. Yeah variety of good options for appetizers and meals ranging from a hummus salad to burgers to tacos and three kinds of fries including regular potato fries, sweet potato fries, and yucca fries. I opted for the shrimp tacos with a side of sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy and quite yummy. The tacos were not great but not awful and came with a green sauce that was pretty tasty. The tacos are included in the order so it made for a decent sized meal. I was surprised when I received the check to find out that they had charged me six dollars for my club soda. Every restaurant I have ever been to has never charge me for a club soda. So they not only charged me for it but charged me twice because I got a refill. When I pointed this out to the waitress she said it is categorized as a soda but after some discussion she removed one of the charges. So I still had to pay three dollars for a club soda. If you're in the hotel and looking for some quick bite that are a decent meal or hanging out by the pool this is a worthwhile option.

The menu read great and we were excited to try this place since we love Jamaican Food. Was not easy to make a reservation - had to call Universal main line and choose from options. However, once we got a person, the reservation process was easy and pleasant. We informed the person taking the reservation that this was our first time visiting the restaurant so we expected a nice table - I assume they want repeat business. But instead we were seated right in front of the live band and it was so loud, we couldn't talk at all. The funny thing was that the restaurant was barely half full! Our waiter also had a tough time hearing us so we had to corret our orders a couple of times. They ran out of beef patties:-( that day. We decide to order some appetizers and a couple of entrees and shared. We had the Buffalo Soldier Jerk Wings - Had a nice spice to it and was quite delicious. We also hd the Jerk Caulifolower bites - a little sweet and spicy sauce and we all agreed this was the best dish we had! We had the Curried Goat stew - a weak curry and did not really have any spice to it. The Reggae Jamaican Jerk Chicken had a sweet spice and sticky sauce - next best dish we had. We also ordered the Coco bread- which was disappointing andd I do not recommend. It was just bread with some butter in it and definitely overpriced for what you got! Cocktails were rather weak. Server was just OK. He wasn't very attentive and did nothing to make our visit great.
