Ghosted me in the middle of an install! I've used Ryan several times and was happy. But the last time was not good. Ryan came by for doing a part replacement so that I could sell a bike. We needed another part so agreed that I would Amazon it. I paid for his work that day and even tipped. Well the only way to get a new appointment for the new part was to get back on the website, so there was another week. Then on the day scheduled, he had to cancel because he was sick. Now this was where it turned unprofessional. I understand that sometimes an illness requires one to reschedule. But Ryan literally ghosted me and stopped responding. I pleaded with him via text that I needed to complete the build. He has read receipts on so I know he saw this. No response. I took it into a bike shop and got same day installation. Will not be using this service again and do not recommend. read more

I paid an enormous sum of money for maintenance and repairs on my bike, and the new tire that was installed will not hold air, after paying over $300.00. I tried to contact the repairman, however he never responded to my text. Don't waste your money with this company. read more

I was prepared to pay all I needed to get a modern bike up to original snuff and a 55 plus year bike back to functional. Tech took a hard pass at older bike not charging me which at the time thought to be fair but the more I think about it; I would've liked a little bit more effort or a more experienced tech with older bikes, this seem to lack effort. Tech also said he'd call back to put new tubes and tires on older bike. No call back yet. Especially touting themselves as expert level in their field. As for the modern bike I paid a minimum base price for multi-point check up/tune up/spit shine/ also knowing that front tube had to be replaced(extra charge) Tech said he replaced it but seem to overlook tire abnormality which could be causing a slow leak. Handlebars were inverted from a previous owner, it was still rideable but I did ask tech to make them upright and he did . All in all aside from replacing tube I feel I've been rooked for 200dollars for replacing a tube and adjusting handlebars. Aside from a replaced tube I don't feel I got my bike back or the rest of the bike in better shape while paying high dollar. And I'm reminded of it every time I try and take my bike out for a spin. Unfair. Overpricing during pandemic?? Hmmm. read more

I bought a bike online and assembled it myself. The bike had some minor problems with it that I didn't know how to fix so I decided to take it to a pro. Calling Velofix was a great solution! Because of Covid, I'm avoiding all stores, but my bike wouldn't shift so I had to do something (!). The tech arrived a few minutes early, went right to work. The company has very good protocols for safety & social distance and the tech followed them. Mike was very professional & friendly, found the problem right away (kinked cable), had me tuned up & road-ready before the hour was up. Scheduled over the mobile app and they where on time. I have a 2014 Specialized road bike and booked the Yellow Jersey tune up. What can I say but that Velofix did a awesome job. My bike looks and rides like a brand new bike. Not only was the service rep super friendly but he gave me some great pointers on preventive maintenance between tune ups. I will definitely be re booking all my bike care appointments with Velofix. It's just too easy plus I don't have to fight traffic to S Austin and then wait a week or two for my bike to be repaired.
