I won't get into it but he corrected many mistakes on the initial build of one and he, like a wizard, fixed the unknowable problem with the other (bike had been down for 18 mos) after a bad crash. I'm newer to bike ownership and had little idea on maintenance, so when my gears had an issue from a stick getting in the chain a while ago I was at a loss for a while. When I finally got myself to look into someone to fix it ATX Bicycle repair was the first to respond, and offered the best price for a tune-up to service it. Joe came out to my apartment and was terrific. He not only worked on the chain/gear issue I primarily reported, but his tune-up covered all it should and even extra thing I didn't expect like tightening up my rear rack I had mounted myself to improve it. He even gave me helpful advice on basic care for the bike to avoid some issues he saw and addressed, as well as their 30 day guarantee. I unfortunately needed to use that guarantee when my chain slipped off my cassette a week or so later, but that wasn't something Joe was at fault for. Still, he came out, investigated the issue, and gave me a solution that did need a part replacement but one he provided at a great rate. I can't recommend Joe's services enough here. Between the general quality of work and commitment to it, and the work to accommodate my schedule to come to me to do it it's great. ATX Bicycle Repair is gonna be my first pick for continued service on my bike after this. read more
