We had a group meet up here last night. The instructors were very nice and gave great pointers to improve our technique. It was a lot of our first times doing archery and they made it pretty simple. We were also a big group and we each felt like we had an appropriate amount of attention. Everyone also wore masks and hand sanitizer was available for use. There was adequate parking out front. The waiting space was kind of small but there was plenty of room in the range to line up for the targets and hang your possessions. They had various different games for us to play to keep our attention. The price was also very reasonable. I would definitely go again. read more

This location is in a commercial area. There is a significant amount of parking. This is a small indoors range, but they all more than one person on a target. This is great location for off season archery shooting. There are three different Groupons available. Two options include an instructor, one is for two people and one hour of shooting. I took my daughter to shoot for an hour. We paid $18.20 for 1 hour of range time, one bow, and one target. I didn't get a Groupon because she has had archery training at her school. They have different types of targets (paper, 3D, and animals). She enjoyed her experience and I would take her again. read more

My 17 yo daughter had her birthday party here, and as we had never been to Velocity before we weren't sure what to expect. She and her friends had a great time, and Theresa was a wonderful host. We had use of the space after hours for 2 hours and there was a small, simple, party room to have pizza and dessert between times on the range. Theresa taught the teens how to use the bows, and then they got a good amount of time practicing before playing some fun shooting games that she set up for them. I took my two sons here for a lesson. They have great instructors and fair prices for kids. Our instructor was patient and covered safety, knocking, how to properly hold your bow, stance, shooting tips, and even how to remove an arrow from it's target. They have leagues for all ages and the range is challenging for multiple skill levels. read more

I stopped in to dial in my bow that i was given by a friend. It was my first time ever going here. I walked into a nice little lobby. It had a few couches, a fridge and some bows to choose from to rent. The young lady at the desk was very helpful and polite. I explained to her that it was my first time there and she showed me around. Explained to my the rules and that there was a longer range for 30 yrds. She also stated that Saturday are their busiest day. It is $9 an hour to use your own equipment. I had some bow issues and was only in there for about 10 minutes and had to leave. I was charged a discounted rate since I was there only a few minutes. The facility was clean and easy to find. read more

Recently, my husband and I with our 2 children went to velocity because my oldest son wanted to try archery. So for his birthday we came here. We thought it would be good to get him out of the house,instead of playing video games all day. It was a good experience! It's a great activity to do as a family. My son especially enjoyed it. The owners and instructor are very kind and helpful.They seem to really care about what they do. I recommend this place if you would like to try something new. The pricing isn't too bad. It's $9.00 an hr per person. If you don't have a bow you can rent one for $7. read more

What a fun place! I went here with an amazon local deal and really enjoyed it. I haven't done any archery since 1996, but it was pretty easy to pick up and have a great time. The rental bows were great and the range was fun. The service was extremely friendly. We did the zombie shoot out, but I really enjoyed the time in the beginners and medium range more. Poor customer service. The lady at the front desk barely acknowledged our presence. It says zombie archery shoot, but it was pretty lackluster. I'm sure it's great for people who are already archers. We drove an hour and 15 mins due to what we read on their website. Once we were there we saw that their rates were different to what their website said. We decided to do the 3d targets thinking they were all set up. Lets just say, things aren't as they seem on their site. They didn't honor the discrepancy either. Called to schedule a birthday party (for adults). Spoke with Frank, the owner, and made a reservation. Turned out the evening of my reservation was also booked for a league event. Frank (and Theresa?) contacted me, told me about the mix up, but managed to reschedule the league event to honor the reservation. The actual experience at the range was fantastic. The staff were nice with just a bit of sass, the instruction was good and the games were fun. Highly recommend it if interested in learning to shoot. read more
