Vegetate quickly became that place for us--the one you discover and then plan your entire day around. It was one of the only vegan restaurants on the island, and it was so good we made the 40-minute drive every single day without hesitation. Worth it. Every time. Dinner, brunch... repeat. The food is consistently incredible, creative, and deeply satisfying. And the desserts--truly unhinged in the best way. The banana pudding and chocolate pie are absolute standouts. Pro tip: add the coconut whip to the chocolate pie. This is not optional. This is a life choice. The service was just as amazing as the food--warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, which somehow made everything taste even better. I got to-go breakfast on New Year's day. first, it was new years day and they were open--great. second, it's weird to be there and have to order to-go on the app instead of just placing an order at the register. LOVED getting lunch here! I visited from LA as a vegan with my non-vegan husband and this place was heavenly! I ordered the French toast with extra bacon and it was seriously the best. My husband got the coconut soup and also loved it. I also ordered the cacao coffee and it was so cute and refreshing. BEST FOOD on Kaua'i in the cutest little garden setting, set back from the highway giving space to relax and enjoy the fresh air. The Brunchwhich was amazeballs, just enough of everything, filling, exploding with flavor. The Rancheros was also sublime and our table neighbors raved about the Loco Moco. YESSS!!!! Husband and I needed some plant based power and got exactly what we wanted. We were a little hesitant of the prices at first but figured we'd try it out. NO DISAPPOINTMENT. We got 2 mains and 2 sides for $50, ate everything, and was very pleased with our food and experience. Brunchwich looked smaller in the picture than it actually was, and everything about it was perfect. The homemade ʻuala sourdough was incredible, and the fillings were so ʻono- esp the vegan bacon. Husband got the omelette and when I had a bite I knew I was coming back. The macnut cheese and veggie fillings with black beans- amazing. The caramelized seasoned ʻuala, breakfast cake, and everything. I would give more stars if I could. Outside dining is so pleasant, and everything is digital- so you order and pay from the QR code- even if you dine in. Which means no waiting for a bill or for the server to come take your order. It was awesome. Chef came out to check on us and our experience, and was so nice to see a local braddah working there too! Definitely going back- probably within a week. You know when food tastes so good that you make sounds while eating it ? This is that place ! First time but definitely not my last eating here. The tables on the garden were full ( it looked lovely and peaceful ) but they have 2 tables out front which was also peaceful. I had the rancheros omelette this time .... Delicious!! I had viewed the menu online, & decided I must give it a try. Im so glad this restaurant is here, what a great little menu selection, they are a fairly new vegan restaurant. There open from 8-2pm closed Mon. & Tues. There menu is very nice, but perhaps in time they may offer a few more menu options for breakfast/ lunch. I ordered the french toast, It was offered fake bacon or sausage..I had the plant based sausage, all was delicious with fresh local fruit. There are some great looking baked goods inside, at the front counter. I didn't try anything this time, but next time I'm surely going to try the banana loaf. I really enjoyed the outdoor seating as well, contemporary tables & chairs. You can order you food in the front of the restaurant or just walk in find a table and scan the barcode to place your order, & your meal will be brought to you. The woman that assisted me at the front was very nice ( didnt get her name, & she also checked on me to see how I was enjoying everything. This place is highly recommended for those eating vegan, plant based lifestyle, although you don't have to be vegan, and still stop by for a coffee drinks, & more. I was so grateful to find this place and enjoy an amazing brunch with friends! The garden setting is so inviting and relaxing and the food was next level. No joke. It was so hard to make a choice from all the yummy menu options, but we decided to get a few things and share, which was the way to go. The Brunchwich hits the spot and the yummy Sourdough with chunks of Okinawan purple potato in it really made it special. The helpful staff member also told us that they use that bread in the french toast. I am going to go again and try that out, for sure! We also had the Ube Pancakes bc my friend is GF and they did not disappoint. I love the flourishes they add to the plate like edible flowers and herbs. The food was not only delicious, but beautiful. A real treat for all the senses. The banana pudding was so gratifying and not too sweet. I grabbed one of their cookies to go as well as a slice of the protein chocolate cake to eat after our hike up the Sleeping Giant, which is so close to the restaurant. The staff was so friendly and available and I really enjoyed being able to order from my phone and get things to come out quickly and efficiently. Also when it was time to go, I just paid and didn't have to wait for a check or pay at the register. This new way of using QR codes to order is actually a game changer for eating out!
