They weren't crumbling but held their own! I haaaaaate vegan cheese. Literally never met a vegan pre made cheese that I have liked! I can vaguely taste the vegan cheese on this so I was really happy about that! It was just an overall GREAT burger! The lettuce was super green, not the white ugly non nutritional part! The did isn't bad but it's the service that made us stop ordering. My husband has ordered pickup and we've also ordered delivery. They are in a location that looks like a house so I don't even know if they are legit. They are either not answering or they take way longer than they commit too. The no answering is horrible. So disappointed in this establishment. Will not return. I ordered over the phone: Mac n Cheese with Hot Sausage and Salaam Salad. I informed the gentleman to NOT put nuts/seeds on the salad and I also wrote it on invoice that they texted me. I was told the food would be ready in 20-25 minutes. Well 50 minutes later my food was finally ready and the Salaam Salad had seeds on it. I returned the salad and waited about another 10 minutes for a new salad. The location and aesthetics of this restaurant are dreadful. The establishment is on a corner lot but the owner parks directly in front of the building leaving patrons nowhere to park, especially since there is a fire hydrant and no parking signs all around. The blacked out windows and locked doors are not welcoming. Lastly the food was dismal. The Mac n Cheese was flavorless and awful (as another Yelper posted, it's just spaghetti and unmelted pieces of vegan cheese, gross!). The Hot Sausage was a Tofurkey sausage smothered in way too much BBQ sauce. The Salaam Salad had no chickpeas as the photo on the website shows, it only had lettuce, avocados and red bell peppers and it was extremely salty. The salad was served in a pizza box as well as the entree. However because they decided to put the salad dressing on the salad, it soaked through the box and ended up inside the plastic bag and on my car seat, not on the salad where I would've preferred it. Moreover, I don't understand how this meal took almost an hour to prepare. The mac n cheese was pre-prepared in a larger pan, Tofurkey sausage is already cooked, just needs to be reheated and a salad with three ingredients takes 5 minutes to put together. I was working the graveyard shift at the Convention Center and didn't like the midnight meal they served one night. I checked Uber Eats for places still offering delivery after midnight and found this place. It was in budget and had a reasonable delivery time, so I decided to try them, even though I'm not vegan. I ended up getting the BBQ cauliflower and baked macaroni. Both were good. The "cheese" on top the macaroni had an odd, glue-y texture that hinted at its vegan nature, but the overall flavor was excellent: well-seasoned, with a nice little kick of heat. I was excited about my food because I've ordered from here before with pickup several time, one of the first vegan spots i found out here and recommended to people. However on this order I just didn't like the pizza, the sauce is really what messed it up for me which is why I ordered it on the side but that was pointless cause it's still put on the pizza. Food was so delicious! Being vegan and gluten free, I haven't had a good crispy fried anything in a looong time. The cauliflower bites were very reminiscent of popcorn chicken the way they seasoned them. It was amazing. Same with the squash strips, they reminded me of chicken strips. Come 6:40 food isn't done, he calls at 6:44 to say 20 more minutes. (Now I know food wasn't started until I arrived) 20 mins past, food still isn't ready when I go back to the window. My salad is glistening & somehow not oily at all!!! I did ask for extra dressing & my request was honored w/ the exact amount I had hoped for. This dressing compliments my salad incredibly well. This place was very good to me! I had ordered a combo plate for lunch. The friendly guy called me to let me know that one item was unavailable on the day that I placed a to go order. He offered several other menu items to choose from and I was quite pleased with the new item. The pick up was easy and the place looks good. I was a bit confused because they used to be located near Claiborne Ave but they moved to the West Bank awhile ago. All the menu items for my order were delicious and I was happy to get a generous portion size. I appreciate that it's vegan and let's me reconnect with my original dietary values. I am going to start by saying this. To pull up to a food business where the building is unlabeled, no signs or nothing,  just a small window on a random house is just weird and misleading. As a business owner myself,  why would you tell a customer that their food will be ready in 25 minutes and have them wait for literally an hour & 1/2?? After traveling, that was annoying and very unprofessional. The fact that the meal was just a box full of fried okra that tasted  like fried flavorless slime. The fried cauliflower had decent flavor, but after about 2 pieces, it was extremely salty! The mac n cheese is nothing but some cut-up spaghetti noodles with no flavor at all. I put hot sauce, salt, and pepper on it and still threw all that food away. So, to pay $50 for food, wait that long, and get the food and throw it away is insane! Social media is available to everyone. It would have only taken a moment to clearly note that on platforms. I live in Los Angeles, I took the trolly from the St. Charles and St. Andrew's to Uptown and then walked for 30 min to this location only to find they are take out only. Additionally, the person who slide the 8x8 window open to tell us still appeared to be in her pajamas and looked as though she just woke up.
