I primarily use it as a quick option for lunches during the work week. While dealing with a medical condition, I also found it incredibly helpful in taking the work out of cooking and simplifying options while still meeting nutritional needs for my condition. I was previously on the low carb plan. Calories and carbs were very reasonable for a midday meal, and I appreciated the substitutions they made to remove rice (cauliflower rice/mashed, zucchini noodles, etc.). My medical condition required me to increase my carbohydrate intake, and I liked that Cura's Signature Plan helped me do that while taking the guess work out of portioning and clearly communicating macros. There are some really solid meals that I look forward to when they pop up on the weekly menu. That said, there are some weeks I'm less enthusiastic about the menu and just order six of the same thing (my plan is 6 meals/week). An opportunity for improvement could be more variation in the menus. It does get a bit repetitive after a while. The meals are filling though, and nutrition is pretty balanced. I personally find the beef and veggie options very tasty. However, I do not like how the chicken tastes at all (have not tried fish). I am not a fan of the egg dishes for breakfast. I am a picky eater though, so this could be a me thing. Outside of Cura, I enjoy chicken / egg - either something about theirs or the way it microwaves is different and unappetizing to me. I usually end up with a bi weekly delivery cadence, but this is due to preference and preferring to sometimes cook my own meals. The containers freeze easily, and I love that Cura gives you the option to pause your subscription for a week at a time. Delivery is always very prompt and communicated well. I appreciate that they confirm the window and pack the items well to ensure they stay fresh, even if you aren't home at time of delivery. There were a few times I missed the order cutoff, and I found the staff very accommodating when I reached out directly to confirm I could still select. It isn't the cheapest option out there for meal delivery, but I like that Cura Kitchen is local and more health conscious.
