I…read moreregularly get Depo administered at CVS Minute Clinics so I was shocked that I was denied a service provided at the Minute Clinic due to a service provider's beliefs. I can understand exercising conscientious objection if you work at a private practice but the CVS Minute Clinic is not that. There was not another provider on staff who could administer Depo for me. Asserting her religious objection to fulfilling her professional obligation negatively impacted my health and access to care. As a medical provider, it is her duty to do no harm yet her refusal to administer Depo caused harm. Medical providers have a responsibility to respect patient autonomy. I have no qualms with her personal beliefs but allowing her beliefs to interfere with her professional duties, as a CVS employee, limits access to care. She should find alternative employment as she expected me to find alternative care.

I used the restroom and grabbed a drink after filling my work vehicle. I saw the food warmer was empty. After going to the kitchen I saw they pulled a fresh pizza from the oven for the warmer and thought what good luck. I watched the pizza be cut and then waited exactly 18 minutes before it was boxed and put in the warmer. This was due to the employee handling the pizza doing one thing before pausing to talk to their coworker. Once pizza was put out I grabbed a slice immediately and checked out. Pizza was not warm and is usually hot coming from the warmer. Not only was this frustrating to wait but I believe cooking food to temp and then letting it cool almost completely before getting to the warmer to unfortunately reheat is likely not considered proper storage.
