    Cheesyburger

Not vegan but I passed by this place a few times and made it my priority to try it out. We ordered takeout for dinner & got a cheese burger and the cubano sandwich which both came with a side of fries. & let me tell you that the cubano was packed with so much flavor we forgot that it's not real meat. It was super delicious. Im a fan of mushrooms especially when they're seasoned right & they sure understood the assignment when it came down to seasoning this bad boy. The cheese burger was a bean patty & vegan American cheese which also tasted good. But the Cubano was def the winner in my opinion. The truffle Parmesan fries were mediocre due to lacking flavor and salt but we added our own seasonings and it tasted better. The sour sop & the mango juice were also DELICIOUS. Other than that - the vibe inside is cute & small. Next time I'm definitely trying the mofongitos and the tostadas. Will update once I try other menu items.

My new favorite vegan spot. I haven't tried everything but i will. All the sandwiches looked amazing. Healthy portions. Only negative is that they charged me for hot sauce after I orderd $50 worth of food.

The service and food was amazing on Aug 2nd. I almost forgot the tamarind drink. Great cozy, extremely clean, spot. I didn't have trouble finding parking either which was surprising. Can't wait to return

I had the burrito with soy chicken. Fantastic. Made fresh. May be the best burrito I've ever had. Woman who helped us was very nice. The photo is half of my burrito.

Vegan Dominican/ Latin food in the Bronx. This was a pleasant surprise since it's hard to find a vegan only restaurant in this area. The Mofonguito, Patacón, and Empanada de Maduro were savory. The Banana Pudding cupcake and Tres Leches cake were also delicious. We arrived right before the place got packed with customers and Door Dash / GrubHub delivery folks. The items were reasonably priced for vegan food and the portions were large in my opinion. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in NYC.

As a meat loving carnivore, I'm very surprised to even say I loved every bite. The Vegan Factory packs a huge punch of amazing flavors. It has a cozy ambience. This little hidden gem is located in the Bronx. The flavors are full of Dominican style foods, which I am very surprised they managed to make it vegan. We went on a Sunday, so we didn't have many options for dessert. I was not craving cupcakes I wanted to try their other desserts, but they didn't have any. We ended up having a Cuban, the Chimi and the mac & cheese we also order El Patacon to go. The mac and cheese was ok needed more cheese they forgot our Chimi order but made up for it giving us a free what looks like patelito that was amazing especially the sauce. Definitely recommend and we will be coming back to try dessert.

To my surprised, I was very surprised with their hospitality and their food. The host, owner went around to see how is everything going. What is outstanding they gave us an order not what we requested and did acknowledge right away and replaced and let us have the order at no charge. This is how a business is run , so my hat goes off , I as a business owner. The food was delicious and their drinks were outstanding.Had the following: 1: DomiRiqueno Pastelon, 2: Pork Mofngo 3: Bangkok Calamari 4: Home made Churros. There were other dishes we had as well. The food was blended well and seasoned. I as well as my neighbors enjoyed their excellent cuisine. I like to thank the staff, especially ISAMAL, our waitress for her kindness, and professionalism in making sure we were satisfied with their service and food and special thanks goes out to the Owner Sandra for making sure her staff took care of us and we were satisfied. I definitely will come back again. I normally don't go to restaurants in The Bronx because their food and service are not up to my standards. I travel a lot and enjoy giving reviews on restaurants. I will definitely ask for the waitress ISAMAL , you will not be disappointed with her kindness and professionalism and a beautiful smile that makes anyone's day a better day.

We decided to sit inside because it was a bit hot outside and inside were several empty two seater tables. A large party of more than 15ppl were seated, a table of 3ppl, and several couples at other tables. The place is tastefully decorated with a beautiful 3D aesthetic pleasing wall mural of a woman's face. 2 bathrooms were neat and clean. Food was delicious, and presentation was awesome. We ordered their sampler that comes in a 3 tier serving tray: coconut shrimp, calamari, chicken and steak skewers, wings(the only thing that didn't seem fresh and did not taste like sweet Thai chili-and we eat sweet Thai chili a lot -that's how I know), mini bite size various meat/seafood empanadas with the outer dough having a normal red or black coloring. The 3 chimi sliders were very tasty and the guacamole and yaniqueque -flat dough that is deep fried and crispy. Services although excellent seemed very slow. It is not uncommon to find service slower when there are less people in the establishment because staff will go about setting up their station, cleaning without noticing that people are waiting for water, ready to order food or drink or asking for the check. I empathized with a woman who I noticed sat by herself, slightly annoyed to wait to place an order her great looking fish-she had to signal a server to come take her order--by this time there are still several empty tables. Overall, because the food was great, I will come back again.

The vibes were amazing from start to finish: great music (major shoutout to the DJ), perfect lighting, and a lively, fun atmosphere that made the night feel special. The food was fantastic and the portions were huge -- seriously, two or three people could've eaten from my plate alone. I ordered the pernil with rice and beans, plus a variety appetizer platter. The pork was juicy (though I do wish the skin was a little crispier), the beans were flavorful, and both the garlic and chimichurri sauces were top-notch. The potato salad was okay, but overall, the meal delivered big flavor and big portions. Since it was my birthday, the team surprised me with a birthday flan and tres leches dessert plate that the restaurant provided. It was the perfect ending -- sweet, creamy, and delicious. The birthday celebration itself was incredible; you truly feel like a superstar. Between the LED signs, the DJ shoutouts, and your name flashing across the booth screen, the energy was unmatched. The drinks were just okay, nothing to write home about, but they got the job done. The only other downsides were the limited parking (especially at night) and the two-hour time limit for our party of ten. Still, it was a fantastic night overall. Great food, great vibes, and a truly fun experience. I'd highly recommend Made in Puerto Rico for birthdays, team outings, or anyone looking for flavorful food and an energetic atmosphere.

As much as I ordered, there is a whole lot more that appears on their menu after scanning the QR Codes on the tables. The Canchita is a nice crunchy snack on its own, but is kicked up a notch with the green sauce. If you like popcorn, try the canchita. The Lomo Saltado Empanadas are good and very good relative to empanadas I have had elsewhere, but the Chicharron Empanadas are where it's at here. The pork belly is not too fatty and the flavor and texture will keep these on steady rotation every time you come here. The Huancaina sauce over the fettuccine pasta with the small pieces of smoked pork rib meat will remind you of pancetta, but the Huancaina sauce is familiar with a cheesy and creamy texture that barely hints at the yellow peppers in the sauce. This is comfort food that accompanies the Pollo a la Brasa with the green sauce perfectly. They could have been more generous with the pork rib in this dish and the pieces are so small I had to taste them alone to know how they taste, otherwise becoming lost in the sauce. The Shmrip Chaufa, which, like the fettuccine, can be ordered with several proteins, hints at the East Asian influence on Peruvian cuisine, similar to the Lomo Saltado. It's a great fried rice, that elsewhere would go well with soy sauce. Here, the green sauce is on order. The salad that came with the family meal is crisp lettuce, tomato and cucumber with their bright vinaigrette dressing and it cuts across the rich and savory flavors you experience here. I reserved the last, but not least, for the Pollo a la Brasa. You will start eating this with a knife and fork, but end cleaning the bones with your hands in mouth. This is where you'll get down and don't care who is watching as you devour this chicken, where the flavor and texture of the crisp skin, gives way to tender and juicy chicken and ends with the flavor of the bones. The skin was crisp after coming out of my oven at home and would come out even better in a convection oven or air fryer. As good as the Lomo Saltado is, the Pollo a la Brasa is better in my opinion. The green sauce puts this chicken over the top and this chicken must be among the best roasted or rotisserie chicken you can find among the five boroughs. The coffee flan is very good. I am not one who can evaluate flan, given I don't eat it often. I don't have a sweet tooth typically. However, I appreciated the texture and contrast with the coffee. My total for all this came to $160 before tip, which is not bad for this amount of quality food and befitting of the Michelin Bib Gourmand rating. One well known chain of Peruvian restaurants in the City will charge you the same family meal price for one chicken and it will not be as good. It's midweek and I'm still eating and the other chicken is in the freezer for another time. 4.3 very returnworthy stars!
