Their response was to have a technician talk me through DIY fix. Really !? I am so disappointed! I am an ICU RN who had to leave work early due to sleep deprivation from false alarms all night. I wanted to end the agreement . Tom , the manager said " we will stop service after you pay early termination fee of $750.00. No attempts from anyone to do the right thing! However, the warranty on that equipment doesn't last long and then they want more money to fix anything that breaks. Then, as soon as that 5 years was up, they jack up your rate with no notice. I called in back then to ask if there was any way tog et the old rate back and they agreed to lower it. The lady was super smooth - told me I just had sign some paperwork for the discount and here it was another 5 year contract. Unlike some others I see on here, I did actually notice and told her I was not interested to sign a contract - that I was just go with a cheaper company. She then heavily implied that this was just a formality and she just needed the paperwork for her files to get the discount through. It was COVID and I was tired and dumb and believed her. Now of course my 10 year old equipment is completely non-functional and we no longer even need the system in our new place and we are getting charged a fee to cancel. Any company that relies on early termination fees to keep their customers STAY AWAY. Go with Simplisafe. You'd honestly be better off putting the equipment on credit than taking free equipment from these people.

Thankfully, it was a false alarm. But what good is a security company that doesn't dispatch the police? We did have a false alarm for fire today with no basis. We went with Vector for over 39 years but we are getting out of this because this company is a wreck and can't deliver basic services.
