I have reason to believe the remediation company contaminated the rest of my home by not using negative air pressure and decontamination rooms. The main reason I picked Guaranteed was because of Demi's patience and abilities to answer my questions in a way that didn't leave me guessing if I'm picking the right company. Then I meet Joe when he came to do the inspection and his knowledge solidified my confidence that this was our guy. In an industry of predators, Joe made me feel like he had my back. We started out with Mold tests, then did an ERMI on the second round. He also seems to do everything by the books on case you need to document everything for legal reasons.

The first message is very welcoming and they already tell you what packages they have with the prices and even extra services like termites and general pool inspection. No need for back and forth messaging asking for prices or your number for them to call. I checked their reviews and that's it, I decided I want their services. I messaged back and her reply is almost immediate at a very strange time. I think I messaged her late at night. I just copied and pasted their message to my agent and there, appointment is set. We chose the platinum so the sewer inspection will be included and additional pool and termites. During the inspections, the 2 inspectors came on time. Home inspections took about 2 and a half hours which is really good coz it means they check every detail. They delivered the findings verbally and the written report was sent to my agent and me the next day. I don't even know how to share to you the result because there's a lot. Just trust Home Inspection experts. They got you covered. I recommend this company 100%.

Rated F on the Better Business Bureau--and honestly, that tells you everything you need to know…read more They don't seem too concerned about reviews, probably because most of their business comes through real estate agents. I made the mistake of trusting mine when she recommended them for my condo inspection... lesson learned. The water heater didn't even work, yet somehow the inspector missed it--so I spent my first three weeks bonding with cold showers. The warranty company wouldn't cover it since the issue existed before I moved in. On top of that, I had to replace both toilets right away. Somehow they missed that too. Of course, when I contacted them, they denied any responsibility and took zero accountability for their mistakes. All in all, I would definitely not recommend them, especially if they're being suggested by your real estate agent.

All they really do is collect samples and test to indicate whether mold is present or not. They ended up suggesting a massively expensive remediation plan to see whether mold was present in other places or not, which would have required moving out for several days. It would have essentially been a wild goose chase. I got another company in for less than half what I paid Envirocheck, for that amount the owner came who had an extensive background in mold inspection. He indicated that there wasn't much indication of mold except for one window which we knew about, and suggested a much more limited and targeted approach which worked great. Envirocheck was recommended by a mold remediation company, no surprise. Stay away and get people who can actually inspect and assess, rather than just take samples and test. From the intake process with Nick, to the actual inspection with Jake, everything was straight to the point, clear to understand, and I knew exactly what was going on along the way. I'm not going to lie... getting these tests are extremely stressful, just because you don't know what's going to come up. One thing that I did appreciate was that they are a testing company only, and don't do any post work, so they don't have any reason to tell you that you need more than you really do. I also loved that they gave you all the numbers and prices ahead of time so that you knew what to expect depending on the number of samples they had to take.
