I never write reviews, but this was by far the worst experience I've had with a repair shop. Poor…read morecommunication, deceptive information to avoid compensating me for their mistake, and a serious waste of my time and money. Yelp has a set character count so here is a shortened version of my review: I brought my PC in with a clear issue: apps crashing, and a Windows reinstall that kept failing partway through. Before bringing it in, I spent 8 hours troubleshooting on my own and narrowed it down to two likely causes -- a corrupted Windows install or a bad CPU. I explained all of this on the phone and again in person when I dropped it off, and was told I'd get a diagnosis the same day. That didn't happen. I had to call an hour before closing just to get an update, and was told to wait until the next day. When they finally called, they flip-flopped on the diagnosis multiple times within a few hours -- first confirming a corrupted Windows install, then claiming it was fixed, then reversing again to say it was still corrupted. They quoted me $90 for a data transfer and $110 for a Windows reinstall. Since I had my own install media, I said I only needed the transfer -- and the price for that alone jumped to $180, with the excuse that it was only "discounted" when bundled with their install. I paid it anyway to protect my files. When I picked up the PC, they assured me -- twice, after I directly asked -- that reinstalling Windows myself at home would work fine. It didn't. I hit the exact same crash I'd described to them from day one. When I called back, they admitted they'd never actually tested the CPU, despite me flagging it as a likely cause from the start. When I asked why I'd paid $180 for a data transfer I didn't need, they gave excuses and contradicted themselves -- first offering free CPU installation (which takes minutes and isn't a real concession), then claiming the transfer would've been necessary regardless, which wasn't true since I could have accessed my files for free from the other drive. When I brought the PC back in, I watched the tech Google my exact problem before telling me they'd "seen this before." The CPU warranty process was its own headache: days of unanswered messages, a lie that it had already been shipped when it hadn't, and them dodging my calls entirely. I called twice in ten minutes and got voicemail both times; a friend called the same number seconds later and got through immediately. The one good part of this experience was an employee named Charlie, who was consistently kind and professional, even helping carry my PC from the car. Everyone else I dealt with was dismissive and dishonest. End result: I paid $180 for work I didn't need, got no refund or compensation for their misdiagnosis, wasted well over a week, and felt completely scammed. I won't be returning.

It ain't cheap, but they are probably the best at what they do…read more I had a hard drive erased completely. I had thousands of family pictures I wanted to recover. While I did lose some pictures , the vast majority of the thousands of pictures were recovered and returned to me on an external drive. They work fast , and they are great at communicating the process to you. I would recommend this company to anyone who has important photo memories that they lost and want recovered . I sincerely hope you never have to use their service . But if you ever do need data recovery - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company

I recently found out after taking both of my external hard drives to local PC Laptops office that…read morethey were damaged and needed to be inspected by a data recovery service in order to see if the data could be successfully retrieved. I had lots of irreplaceable photos, lots of music files and important documents. I first sent to a company they recommended but it was over $1500! YIKES! I'm like 'NO WAY!' - even though I really wanted to try to get those files that was just way too much! I then tried a few others and came across Secure Data Recovery Services. I was introduced to a nice gentlemen, Dr. Wright - who advised me of the entire process. They determined they were able to recover the data and I was provided an acceptable rate for the recovery. I'm pleased to say that it was a great success and the entire procedure was very smooth and easy. I was very happy to basically have access to all of my important photos and files again. I did have to pay for some shipping and providing them a device to have files transferred to which some of the other companies provided but their rate was much better. Dr. Wright made the process very easy and I'm happy to recommend their services - especially if you have important photos or files. I recommend to get a solid state drive - they're pricey but much more reliable for data storage then the typical spin disc drives like from Seagate & Western Digital which I was told break a lot. Unfortunately there's not many companies doing data recovery so pricing is high but overall I'm very pleased and would highly recommend SDRS!

I asked him for the price and the price he gave me was 2/3 of the other shops around the area that I called and inquire. I came in a little late but he was able to rush my service for me as I was leaving the town the next day and I was able to pick it up within the hour. Thermal paste replacement service that I requested was done professionally and he even add extra thermal paste around the needed area on the board. Deep cleaning service was excellent. I notice the cleanliness right away and it boosts my experience with games and work programs by a major 2.5x speed. I went from 45 FPS to 120 FPS in just less than an hour. Lem hospitality was also very amazing. Very nice guy to talk to. Professional yet personal. Just as advertised, "You break it, he fix it!" Very fast at that.

I was excited to have my work done as fast as they promised, until I learned their promises are as reliable as the Federal government. FWIW, I had 9 company systems needing cleaning, updates, repair. We don't have internal IT, and the person who was doing our IT has retired. We had been told Supertech was the place to turn. We were told wrong, and that was clear in the first minutes of conversation. NO ONE. NO ONE likes being hanged up on mid-sentence. I was asking a question and the person who answered the phone hanged up on me after telling me they didn't have the RAM I was seeking. I also needed SSD's for all 9 computers. Perhaps the owner could have *listened* and perhaps asked a question before blowing off another business that spends steep on hardware for our work in the survey and drone industry. We *try* to buy local and access local services, but with this sort of dismissal, we'll go out of our way to avoid them. Shortly after I left this review, the business tracked me down and began harassing me over text (They had my number from Caller ID) Definitely a place to avoid. Passive aggressive reeks from this place. NO ONE. NO ONE likes being hanged up on mid-sentence. Under any circumstances. Another dealer in Henderson was thorough, asking all the right questions, and although they don't take tradeins on RAM (We have 300GB of RAM to trade-in towards 600GB of RAM) they helped us find a place who does buy RAM, and they have ordered the 9 sets of Crucial 64GB. Trading in 1900.00 towards $4500.00 was good for them.
