They are really the only ones equipped to handle the Sprinter engine, and I couldn't have been happier with the service I received. They spent hours with my van, taking it apart and really investigating what the problem might be. Their diligence paid off, and they discovered a rare and challenging issue, one that didn't even appear as a dashboard indicator light. But rather than just tell me the problem, they took pictures, as well as the time to explain exactly what was going on. I really trust their mechanics. I felt like I wasn't being conned in any way. Quite a relief in a strange city with little options. But this review wouldn't actually be complete without a shout out to the women at the front desk. I sat at the dealership for two days, waiting for some kind of news about what was going on with the van, and without anywhere to go. I live out of that van. I sleep in that van. I am on tour, and I know no one in Saskatoon. They were so kind to me - and really made me feel welcome. I do not fit in well at a Mercedes dealership. I am a touring artist from Portland, Oregon. I ooze hippy. I tracked mud into the showroom. I combed the rats out of my hair in the lobby. I drank many cups of the fancy customer coffee. And it was lovely. I felt really well taken care of by these ladies. They gave me advice, they commiserated, they made sure I had a ride to the airport when it was finally clear that I was going to have to leave the van in Saskatoon for a spell. They were great company, and I'm so grateful for their generous customer service. If I ever have the means to buy a Mercedes, that's where I would go.

Fast forward 3ish months, a ridiculous amount unreturned phone calls, work that was said to have been completed but wasn't (service person and used car sales manager both lied to my husband's face about it being completed), requests to speak with the general manager (these calls/requests were not returned), Different departments not having any knowledge of what is going on is ridiculous and we still aren't any further along than we were when we walked out day one. Driving into the city and leaving the vehicle at the dealership on 3 separate occasions and my husband missing work, and having the used car sales manager tell my husband that the only reason he picked up a call from him was because he "thought it was important" is what Oakwood Nissan customer service really is. Super disappointed.

Basic customer service 101 and their service desk Kaitlyn cannot manage it. When I called back she just got defensive and rude with me instead. Rather drive out to another dealership where they at least teach staff basic phone etiquette. Even kids at their first job get taught how to talk on a phone professionally

Over next five days, I got busy working while also actively looking at vehicles so neglected my emails. When I finally get back to my emails, I have MULTIPLE emails from: Owen Armstrong Internet Sales Manager Kia of Saskatoon Phone: (306) 955-5080 Mobile: (306) 371-7663 Email: owen.armstrong@kianadian.com FIRST email requesting more personal info from me (despite entering all required details online previously) & NO INFO I REQUESTED ACCOMPANIED THE EMAIL! Later the same day I get another email (SECOND) from Owen asking to confirm I received his first email. Following day Owen sent a THIRD email with subject title "Let's Do It Your Way", looking to have me respond back to him so he can find out how to contact me... & STILL NO INFO I REQUESTED ACCOMPANIED THE EMAIL! Um, no offence but the subject line reads to me like he's acting pi**y with me... wth?!? Another day passed & Owen sends another email (FORTH) with subject line "Fine Line Between" -- wth is with the attitude??? Here's the direct quote from him: "There is a fine line between being too persistent and giving great service. If you could give me an idea as to where you are in your buying process, beginning, middle, or end, I will adjust my communications accordingly." And... STILL NO INFO I REQUESTED ACCOMPANIED THE EMAIL! For Owen's FIFTH email, he actually waited a full extra day (ie two days later) before sending it & finally with an appropriate subject title "Following up from Kia Saskatoon" but then he sent this: "Having worked with quite a few customers that have chosen to use the Internet to initiate contact with our dealership, I realize that time is extremely valuable to you. In order to maximize your time and ensure that I have sent you the correct information that will give you what you want and help you make an informed decision, I am inviting you to speak with me directly. I am most readily at the dealership and you can reach me directly at (306) 955-5080." Again, STILL NO INFO I REQUESTED ACCOMPANIED THE EMAIL! As such, I replied back after seeing all five emails & advised Owen to not contact me further. I really hope Kia reads this, because after these emails from their employee, I will not be considering a vehicle from Kia Saskatoon & will avoid their Saskatoon dealership like the plague. I wonder if this is the same Owen that another yelp reviewer had a bad interaction with at the Nissan dealership on the same street two years previous. Seriously, what has happened in the customer service industry lately that these behaviours are acceptable??
