Yes, they have good coffee

Definitely supports local INDIANA sourced items. Glad to here this and we went with alcohol aspirations we were went off the rails and went for a flight of desserts. Yum Yum Yum! Had a couple.of nice coffee drinks and a very delicious smaller versions of this trio; Creme Brule, lava cake and a cheesecake made in house with fresh berries. LOVED the staff, the atmosphere and was a nice alternative night cap with tasty treats. A must visit when in this small town.

First things first, we (4 of us) put our names on the tea room waiting list. Then we shopped for our gardens. I'd selected the plants I wanted to buy, and then it was time for lunch. Our name was next on the list. We stood waiting for the hostess when a pushy woman and two men climbed onto the porch in front of us. The woman insisted on being seated. The hostess explained that the kitchen was backed up and she couldn't seat them. Said woman loudly insisted that they 'only wanted to sit and they wouldn't be ordering anything'. A manager came out and the old woman tried to establish that a relationship existed with her and the owner. She insisted again that they be seated. They were, and immediately got wine, silverware and menus. All of this in front of us, the party that was standing waiting. At that point we said we were next on the list, but since they had not only been seated, but served before us we would leave without eating and without buying the plants we'd come to purchase. The kicker is that there were MANY seating choices outside in the shade that these people should have been directed to rather than being seated in front of us. And we left - never to return. We didn't even get an "I'm sorry." Addendum, all was not lost. We drove to a new-to-us restaurant in Seymour IN, and had great service and great food for much less than this would have cost! Addendum 2: to the person who responded to this review yesterday, thank you. I can't find your response now, but I appreciate your comments and that you took the time to explain the situation.

There is now a restaurant, distillery, brewery in addition to the winery. We ended up having lunch before doing a wine tasting. We liked all of the wine that we tried and even ended up taking some home. The winery, restaurant & brewery are all housed in a redone barn. The place was beautiful and the service was excellent. Would absolutely stop by here again.

I generally have low expectations for Indiana wines, and this was pretty much what I expected. Of the four wines in my flight, I couldn't even finish two of them. (A shame since they charge more for a flight than any other IN winery I've been to -- $14 for 4 wines!) The Cab/Zin blend was not too bad -- better than I had expected, actually, so the tasting was off to a good start. But the dry Riesling was awful. It had a distinct funk to it. As a wine specialist, I feel like I should be able to describe it better than that, but I didn't want to keep sipping to identify the "funk" more precisely. The semi-dry Riesling was drinkable (but way sweeter than semi-dry). The "semi-sweet" Traminette was full-on, dessert wine level super-sweet and lacking any acidity to balance out the sweetness. I couldn't finish that one either because I was actually starting to feel a little sick from the intense sweetness. My husband liked the Zin in his flight, and I thought it was okay. I also tasted his blackberry wine. I usually like blackberry wines because they have acidity & tartness to balance the sweetness, but this one did not. It was just all sweet. The service was fine, and the atmosphere was nice. I enjoyed the classic rock music. The winery shares space with 450 North. I can't say anything about the 450 North stuff or the restaurant because I don't like beer and we didn't get food, so the two stars is based on wine quality alone. I'm glad we stopped by so I know what it is, but we definitely won't go out of our way to visit again.

You can stop by whenever you feel the need to taste some wine, tequila or bourbon Hannah, the manger, is so sweet. She reminds me of Joanna Gaines. She's one of those people you feel like you know and want to be around. Just a beauty inside and out. She was the only one there and had a few guests to help and she said she was having a bad day but you'd never know. She made my bf and I feel more than welcome and took care of us. We got a small charcuterie with nuts, meats and cheeses and added olives. The charcuterie was not what I was expecting from a winery. It was more of an adult lunchable than charcuterie. The cheese was like that precut Cracker Barrel cheese found in the store. I would have like to have had some freshly grated parmesan or mozzarella. Something that would pair well with the wines. I'm not a fan of Swiss. Love Colby jack and cheddar but those don't really go with the wines I had. I got a flight of white wines that are numbered in my 2nd picture. They were all pretty good but 1 & 4 were my favorites. I was able to taste a new wine slush they're offering. I chose the red wine slush over the white moscato one. I fell in love with it. I tried to get one to go but was unable to due to them not having approved to go containers for them My boyfriend got a flight of premium bourbon which he enjoyed. There are lots of cosy places inside and out to sit and sip your favorite drink. We did leave with a bottle of the # 4 wine I liked and garlic sausage though. I will definitely return for a slush!!

Mine was the first they'd sold, if I remember correctly. Well, I took it in for routine service May 31, and as of today (June 16), the solo mechanic hasn't started on it yet. Sounds like the owner needs to hire more staff (3 folks operate the sales, parts, and service depts). Trying to be patient, but this is ridiculous. I guess I should tell by there decreased inventory of bikes that motorcycles are not their focus. John's been wonderful to deal with on the phone (he's in sales, BTW), but his hands are tied if the place just has one mechanic. Sounds like I'll be looking to Indy in the future perhaps.

He said they would pay the rough price as trade-in after I showed him photos it was super clean like new and had every Polaris accessory, and he is going to pay rough condition? Immediately offended I left sold it for over retail price because of all the accessories and had 3 buyers interested so he paid asking price. The buyer's first words was wow this is really clean. So I called back for a price on a Ranger which was way higher than other dealers. 3rd strike. I'm done. So. I ended up driving 3.5 hours each way into Illinois and bought one cash. I try to use local stores I will not spend my money at Polaris in Seymour.

This one, however, rocketed to the top of our list among Hoosier wineries whose products we have tried. Not only was the wine a treat, the experience of the visit was also memorable. The facility was very nice, from the impressive external landscaping to the lovely wine shop/tasting bar to the relaxing garden-patio-themed dining area. We visited with the intention of just doing a tasting but ended up having a light lunch along with that tasting. We were glad that we did as the charcuterie board that we ordered was terrific with olives, naan, hummus, chips, cucumbers and more. It was enough to be shareable. But the highlight was still the wine. We also shared the flight as we did not want to overdo it. We tried the Peach Sangrini, Peach Pie, Lemon Moscato, Raspberry Espresso and Sweet Red Lime. All were good but I'd have to say that the standouts to me were the Lemon Moscato, which was refreshing and tasty, and the Sweet Red Lime which delivered what the name implied with a citrusy, lightly sweet flavor. The prices were not bad as I thought it was a good value for what we received. I would be remiss if I did not also note that the service was top-notch. Our server was efficient, attentive and knowledgeable. The greeter was also pleasant and welcoming. It is likewise noteworthy that we had our 8-month-old granddaughter with us, and it was greatly appreciated that they offered a family-friendly experience that accommodated her as well. Our daughter and son-in-law live in Indy, so this place is just an hour or so away. We'll look forward to the next time we can visit as there are several other varieties of wine that appear to be worth trying.
